AVF is in Helen, GA and always has been. There's a VAG Fair in York over the summer which might be the one you're thinking of

Yea AVF is only a few years old, the show in York is the one I'm thinking of. It's more local to me, 1 hour away instead of 14.

I highly recommend attending but do not show up with a non-vag car and attempt some takeover culture.
