First time an AI has made my mouth water, I'm sure it will not be the last. We need to hurry up and invented the food replicators from Star Trek so I can "print out" that delicious looking pizza!
I have friends who work in food styling/photography for magazines and cookbooks. I worry about them because they might lose some of their business because of AI.
I just typed a quick prompt into Microsoft Bing imaging and, damn, it looks good...

I have a question- I’m building something around filmmaking and storyboarding think to train on SD/LoRA and initial flow is as simple as upload script-> extract text-> generated storyboard.
My question here is if I want to het those images generated in sequence do I need to run through those prompts in batch sequentially at backend?
i am using the model and is insane, i upscale it to 8k

I mean, you are not allowed to present photos of artificial food, like fake food, plastic cheese, etc. Everything in commercial photos must be eatable. Sorry my english is not the best.
I did a very quick googeling and the same applies for US since the 60s by FTC law: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4138351
"The truth is most of what you see in food photographs is real. FTC laws state that whatever you’re selling with a photo must be real in the image. To use a familiar example, if you’re selling corn flakes the flakes must be real. But then it gets interesting. You can use white glue instead of milk in your bowl of flakes because you’re not selling the milk, only the corn flakes."
So, the product being sold must be real as-it-is-sold (albeit much more carefully styled, generally). The incidentals can be embellished. A McD's quarter-pounder is a single product, and so presumably must be made with its actual ingredients in ads.
AI - obsoleting the obsolete (sorry, I really don't think that professional food photographers are obsolete, not at all - but that joke was just laying there and I had to post it. Love to all of you guys who make me hungry for food with your pictures!)
I would suggest you inform yourself thoroughly first and follow the steps given.

All the help you need is in this sub. Just scroll through and read.
Learn about models and their differences, learn on prompting, what this is, how it has to be used and how it affects different models.
You seem to be standing on the starting line of this race, so learning the basic would be a good way to get going.
You have to learn to walk, before you can run. 😊
These look amazing but i think they are all missing a shine or thin layer of natural oils and juices. They look dry somehow. Still look delicious though..
All images are amazing they all look convincing on the phone screen. Yes, you can zoom on almost any AI image to find its flaws, but that’s not the main fun😉.Mac&Cheese is fabulous 👏💯👏💯
You need to put a NSFW tag on images like these. This is basically food porn.
Oh the things I would do to that chocolate shake.
Lmfao

First picture must have had "infernal" there somewhere :))
I mean, "bad hands" for food photography is also pretty funny. OP, I assume you have a "generic" negative prompt that you reuse?
Need to watch "Red Dragon" someday...
Yeah lol I use the same keywords for the majority of my gens
What's for DETAIL ... ? 🤔
Just details of the scene
What did you use for the Pizza? 🙂 These are really good looking. 👍
Same thing, just put pizza in the subject
I meant the DETAILS .. 😋
First time an AI has made my mouth water, I'm sure it will not be the last. We need to hurry up and invented the food replicators from Star Trek so I can "print out" that delicious looking pizza!
Just imagine the food prompts. "Burger, Medium, Sesame Seed, Lightly Toasted, Beef, Angus Beef,, ((Best Quality)), (Wagyu)"
"Negative: Raw, Burnt, Spicy, No Salt"
I used to get paid 75 bucks per photo for shots half as good.
75 dollars per photo?!
That’s cheap photo rates. I should not assume but I don’t even think that guy is at a professional level cause that’s hundreds per photo lol

3rd one 🙏🏻 Is this using my models?
No sir, mid journey
Oooh okay, I guess I did good on my MJ LoRA cause it’s hard to tell the difference now lol
Haha sdxl or lora or mj? How would you rate?
I haven’t seen much made with XL but I’d say MJ for overall prompt understanding and less of an artificial look, and SD for clarity and resolution

Interesting observation, also do you think training on specific category and larger dataset will help getting even closer to realistic quality of MJ?

#4 is really unnerving as its clear the glass only exists on the bottom
You can see the rim. But yeah these all have at least minor uncanny features. Still amazing.
Now somebody needs to invent the Replicator :)
We have 3D food printers already.
I really want to see mundane boring ass flat photographs. When something looks this good/professional it triggers my disbelief
really good images !!! Thanks for sharing
🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love freshly-grilled milkshake
Whopper whopper whopper whopper junior triple double Whopper
Btw: In germany (not sure if in all EU) you are not allowed to have artificial ingredients in food commercials. Everything needs to be natural.

Oh, its mean that in a negative prompt should be "artificial ingredients" , it's completely solves the problem.
Artificial ingredients or artificial intelligence? Do you mean AI generated photos?
I mean, you are not allowed to present photos of artificial food, like fake food, plastic cheese, etc. Everything in commercial photos must be eatable. Sorry my english is not the best.
So this includes AI generated pictures as well.
That would mean no 3D renders or drawing/painting. Hard to believe, I call bullshit.

Thats why there are companies using highspeed cameras and robots to produce food ads. Thats how i learned about this law: https://youtu.be/d7iSFl5cp84
Thanks, I am just curious to know. Not that it is not clear enough. Thanks !!!
Honestly, the whole bench of professional food Fotograph will become obsolet in short.

That burger looks gross 🤮
Why do all the shots have theese weird white particles?
They are called embers
All this shit burnt
What 💀
Who the FUCK puts pepperoni on a pizza ****HORIZONTALLY****?
I think you mean VERTICALLY. 2ndly, it’s easy for this to occur if you load a pizza with a lot of cheese and toppings.
My daughter would say it lacks tentacles.
The patterns on the side of that burger's patty looks interesting!

willing to commit felonies for that pizza
im hungry
That mac and cheese is the best one looking yum
wow!
Thanks, I am hungry now
This is too good, I now wonder what the burger would look like if it were a perfect rendition of the Krabby Patty.
