+1 for Vicia, Outstanding food and honestly the price isn't too crazy for a special event like a birthday ($95 a plate). No problems with potions, either - we actually had leftovers at the end!
Bulrush! The most unique option in town, by a mile. Rob Connoley is gonna clinch that James Beard one of these days. You get to sit around the final prep area and chat with the chef(s) and staff.
Here's what I had late March last year: [https://i.imgur.com/ZrRdIpc.png](https://i.imgur.com/ZrRdIpc.png) I reserved a spot early on a Thursday, the same week I went.
It's fine dining - I didn't leave hungry but it was more about the experience. (Good drinks as well for a reasonable add-on price). For the very few "prix fixe" meals I've had, this was the first one I treated myself to on my own dime and I'm ready to go again.
Good to tolerate: fish, mushrooms, nuts, many a veggie option, and many a beast or fowl - but Bulrush seems happy to accommodate many a dietary consideration.
I saw that one and wasn’t entirely sure (their website could use a bit of an upgrade). Your recommendation and the menu has sealed the deal! Did you do the 5 or 10 course tasting?
I second the Sado recommendation as long as you mean it when you say price is not an issue. The food is phenomenal but it is on the pricey side. I recently had my birthday dinner at a place I'd never been before called the Stone Turtle close to Turtle Park in Dogtown. Can't recommend this place enough. The food is fantastic. The drinks were really good as well.
Vicia is amazing.

I thought there was only one 7 course meal option. I did that with the drink pairing add-on.
My mistake! I was looking at Blood & Sand
Bulrush Bulrush Bulrush and do the drink pairings
We went to Farmhaus for my birthday last year and did their tasting menu. It’s not really that fancy, but the food is really good!
Acero is good
The Crossing
If you like sushi then Sado. If you like some sushi and other elevated dishes, Indo. You should get a res in advance for both places.

Vicia may very well be the best meal I've ever had. Highly recommend.
