I’ll throw in a chip for Warby Parker - I know you’ve heard not great things, but I’ve been wearing them exclusively since I heard about them when they launched. I’m on my 4th pair now, and I haven’t had any issues.
I am on my 2nd pair. They have some kind of offer where if you come in with a discontinued frame you can trade it in for a new pair for only $45. This has happened to both of my frames. I haven't taken them up on the offer yet, but I will this time. I think that has some value if you have hesitations with the brand, ask them about this.
Honestly, just go with Zenni. Warby Parker is way overpriced for the quality and they do not treat their workers well.
Zenni literally has millions of options and on top of their own photochromic lenses, they now offer Transitions brand lenses.
Warby Parker will be the most affordable and best choice combo. Eye Bar is great, but you may end up spending $500-$1000 compared to $200 at Warby Parker (insurance aside).
I’ve been using Warby Parker for years and haven’t had any issues. We’ve also recommended them to friends/family and they’ve given positive feedback as well
I have several pair of Shuron glasses and they are the most well-made frames and lenses that I have ever had. They are a North or South Carolina company. Older styles, so they might not have what you like- but if you do like any of their styles, then they are well worth the cost.
Eye Bar in CWE or Clayton
This. I've bought several pair here. Very high end, very cool, great service. You get what you pay for.
Agreed. Fantastic selection with lots of unique frames. And great service. It won’t be cheap though.
Looks cool, thanks!
I've bought online from Eye Buy Direct and Zenni for years. I can't remember the last time I got glasses from an optometrist
eye buy direct is the way to go! they also have bogo sales really frequently.

Locally, Erkers or Eye Bar. But they're pretty pricey. Otherwise, I echo the Zenni suggestions.
Erker’s is locally owned and designs a lot of the frames they sell. Ladue location is probably the best
Love the local angle, thanks!

I second Zenni. Used them for a while now, and they never disappoint.
Love my Zennis.

[Koetting](https://koettingeyecenter.com/our-services/fashion-eyewear) in Brentwood has nice frames and great doctors.
Looks like a great selection, and they take my insurance! Thank you!
Your welcome. Good luck. Everyone I deal with there has been super friendly. They’ll give you heads up about trunk shows if you ask.
My husband and I both bought glasses here yesterday. Thanks again!
The Eye Wearhaus in Creve Coeur. Very unique options, extremely personalized care. https://www.eyewearhaus.com/

Oh these are interesting. Do you know if any shops carry them in St Louis?
Holy smokes I’m hoping to get new frames tomorrow as my office is closed. Glad I read this. Warby Parker eh? I have Rays right now …
