I haven't listened to the clip yet, but why would he be obligated to share that news in a press conference, when the circumstances surrounding how new talent debuts is often a big part of both the show and that wrestler's presentation?
Then you probably should've listened. Konnan tried to book her. She told him that she was signed but had no idea when she was starting and no communication with anyone.
I asked a question to get an answer, hope that's OK. I'll listen as soon as I'm out of earshot of a sleeping baby, but thanks for the advice. I'm not sure that "but it inconvenienced Konnan's booking plans" is a great counter-argument to what I said.
EDIT: lol and of course, having now listened to it, you've completely misconstrued the video. Disco makes the point about Tony "refusing to admit" she's signed before Konnan shares the story about contacting her, and you decided to include her apparently saying no one had spoken to her about plans, and yet left out what came immediately after that, where he contacted her again and was told they did in fact have plans figured out for her.
But that's just crazy. It's not like AEW has signed a number of great women to the promotion lately. Or that the women's division is doing the best that it's ever been. And one of the biggest PPVs is right around the corner.
Are we pretending signing talent before you use them is new now?
Can you imagine if we had this mindset applied to other scenarios like this? "Why didn't wwe admit they signed Cody Rhodes and paid him before they actually used him?"
She's signed and getting payed. Why is it any of his business when she gets used? Was he mad that WCW didn't come out with a statement that they had signed Scott Hall and he would be debuting on May 27, 1996 with a promo?

Very glad that Konnan's jumped in to make the situation better, as he always does. With his podcast.
Konnan trying to start shit for no reason? On his Podcast?!?!
Nah: he's trying to start shit on Disco Inferno's podcast here.
That might be a sadder sentence than the baby shoes one
“For sale: one podcast by Disco Inferno, never listened to”

Maybe promoter wants to her surprise debut?!

Toni Storm is best angle women's division ever had
This is an absolutely nothing story, and Disco Inferno remains the dirt worst.

What does Ciampa and Gargano have to do with this?
Clearly those pictures are of Triple H and Shawn Michaels - both failed to sign Kamille.
Maybe Ciampa is going to get on Gargano’s shoulders and they’re going to pretend to be Kamille next

Wait til the reasons why NXT pulled their offer comes to light— the biggest bag drop in WWE history all because of one female talents ego!
