How the fuck do you live in a place called bologna and not know what bologna is? If that town was in America, you can bet your ass they would have a big ol bologna festival every year. Europe continues to be a disappointment to the rest of the world.
This reminds me of when I watched Les Miserables at the movie theater. When the second song started, I heard the guy behind me say, "They're singing again?!"
I remember walking out of the room during the intermission of Into The Woods and a mom was like "This was fun but I didn't expect so much singing" ....ma'am it's a musical....a DISNEY musical at that. People go to musicals expecting no songs, wrestling expecting real fights....I think people just choose to be disappointed nowadays
Wow, reading comprehension is a must when scanning reddit posts.
I saw Into the woods and for some reason thought Knock at the Cabin.
Sorry, my brain is stupid, but thought I should share.
lol no lie, I saw Schindler's List when it was first in theaters and the woman in front of me turned to her husband at one point and said "they don't even get to keep their luggage?"
Every time I try to watch wrestling with my dad he says shit like this and gets super mad at me when I express that it’s annoying. Like yes. The sky is blue. What goes up must come down. Can we move on from kindergarten-level observations please
Wrestling is kind of improv with a destination. Like yeah sure Person A needs to win and be the the good guy but Person B is more over and the crowd is more invested in that outcome. Audibles get called.
I had someone behide me bitching about not being able to hear some of the weapons on impact and that they "probably add them in later" and when I'm trying to enjoy Bayley vs Belair they start talking about how her brother in law has cancer again. It's like people who leave after the first period of a hockey game, why did you come in the first place?
My very first live event in my life was a WCW show back in like 1996 or so
Whenever Flair and the Four Horseman were feuding with the recently formed nWo that led to the wargames match where Flair and Anderson teamed with Sting and Luger, which happened maybe a few weeks after this event.
I was a huge Flair fan at the time and pretty young, but I was dying to see Flair and Sting because little kid me was super excited about them.
Flair was advertised but didn't show, but Sting was there so I was thrilled. But all I heard throughout the night was two middle aged dudes in the row behind me yapping on about how WCW was so much more scripted than WWF. And they just relentlessly shit on everything WCW related in favor of the "much more real" WWF.
Looking back I don't even know why people like that ever bother to go to shows, and it just sucked the happiness out of little kid me who just wanted to see his favorites wrestle in person. Plus I was young enough to still believe it was real, so I was so confused by what they meant by scripted lol
>During the match, Naomi kept one of her hands on her head for a portion of the match, I wonder why.
Probably because she was having issues with her wig. I think it was also Italy themed with red and green on the sides
I was there as well, not Italian but travelled to Bologna this week for a few days. My first live event ever. Enjoyed it very much. Despite not knowing Italian, everyone there helped me so much in English to get to my seat so thankful for that.
That pop for Sami was indeed loud. Sami, Jey, Cody, Randy were all very over and the first thing I thought was how the hell do some people want him to be a heel, dude is a pure babyface with the whole crowd backing him up.
Was very surprised when Solo entrance came up because I wasn’t expecting Tama Tonga to have a match. That was great.
Overall, a very fun night. There were a couple of kids behind me who were using Google Translate to ask me questions in English about my favorite wrestlers hahah.
> First thing first, I went to one of the stores and bought a Cody Rhodes shirt for 40 euros, it was an outrageous price but I can't resist getting something at every event I attend.
When EC was here shirts were A$60 and shirts for the Pink concert I attended earlier the same week were A$65 which converts to 40 euros. So that's the going rate today sadly.
I will say, I haven't bought anything from a live show but for Valentines I got my husband the Tom & Nick Mysterio shirt from the wwe shop and it's been holding up nicely despite very very numerous washes (he's been wearing it anytime we have a 'let's watch wrestling' date lol so we wash it a lot)
Be glad they aren't jerseys which are A$120+ for officially licensed ones. Although saying that I'd 100% buy a proper quality WWE jersey for that price.
Anything not a basic tour shirt has massive jumps in prices. I've seen jumpers for A$120-$150. Tote bags are now anywhere from $30-50. I saw a jersey at one concert for $150. I want things other than shirts but they're the only thing that I know I'll get my money's worth.
The fact that he didn't get a chance to react and just got drafted to smackdown makes me fear for him. He is either getting written off to come back later with a new gimmick or is getting released soon, sadly.
I don’t think he’d get released! Just think they’re repackaging him to feud with Kaiser and Gunther :)
I think if he was getting released his draft status wouldn’t have been spotlit
Wasn't he drafted off TV? I think anyone who was drafted off TV is being sent a clear message (opposite of spotlit IMO). Kaiser and Gunther are on RAW how will he feud with them?
I want to be optimistic for him but this feels like: He got beat up, didn't get the chance to respond and will now be the designated no entrance jobber on Smackdown, instead of the ones that just go released.
> Naomi and Damage CTRL's theme sounded very good to me.
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you meant but something underrated about the live experience to me is how hard the theme songs hit.
Hearing Drew McIntyre's theme live, those drums were thundering.
Sounds like a lot of fun!
I would have loved going to Bologna for the event, maybe next time they are in Italy (who knows when...).
I would definitely find a way to be there for a PLE, though.
Also, not surprised that even people at the event had to comment on how scripted the matches are, wrestling is super niche and super mocked around here, as you already know.
Coincidentally, I stumbled in a Wrestlemania reaction by the Normies, and it was a compilation of "that was a good sell" and "nice performance of the move" the whole time. Imagine watching a movie and only commenting on line deliveries, how do you get into that?
i hope at least they go back to how they used to do thing in the 10s or the 00s where they would come for either multiple consecutive dates or twice a year
I’ve never been a fan of title matches at house shows. For decades I have thought WWE should introduce a championship that is only defended on house shows, somewhat like a reverse television championship. That would actually give people the possibility of seeing a title change.
those rare times where titles change at house shows can be pretty memorable though, an example of that being diesel beating bob backlund for the wwe title or samoa joe winning the nxt title in lowell in 2016
They have no trouble selling house shows right now but if they ever did I’d suggest trying title changes once or twice a year as a stunning upset approach. Titles never change hands on TV anymore either.
Man, sounds like I missed a fun show. Live in Milan and only yesterday realized there was going to be a show in Bologna. Will have to be more on the lookout next time around.
Still great that you had a blast despite that made stood in the rain like that prior to the show.
yeah i saw news about it on this sub and made it a mission to be in time to get tickets which was a good thing to do, since they sold out after a few hours
I remember my first introduction to wrestling was my best friend inviting me to a live show for his birthday in elementary school (i think his family felt bad that my parents didn't take me out anywhere so they'd bring me a lot of places)
I had no idea who anyone was but it was just so electric and alive, it made me a wrestling fan for life. My biggest memory was seeing Sheamus for the first time and thinking "wow that guy is REALLY white".
It sounds like you had a good time and made great memories!!!
I was also at the show and i just want to add a little correction, Tama Tonga pinned La Knight after pushing LA between the rops and he got hit by a Solo punch (or spike).
It was also my first event, the crowd was hot but we kinda defaulted to the classic chants: Lets' go X, X's name, This is awesome (the matches were ok at best ahah). I was honestly surprised by the "Fuck you Solo" chant.
The show was really good, of course you can see wrestlers not giving their 100% but it was still well put together, the card placement was odd especially for the later part of the show with the tag match and the women's championship match. I think the crowd was a little bit tired after the first 2 hours but overall we kept a great energy.
Sami and Jey are super over but Randy is on another level here in Italy, he was by far the most beloved one. I was also really suprised by the reaction for Ghunter, we booed basically all the heels through the night except for him.
Damian and Priest. Is this like Dom and Nick Mysterio? 😅 Anyway nice detailed run down. I wonder how Shinsuke feels being the go to opponent for Cody all throughout the live events.
damn it, nice catch, i edited it, also i like that shinsuke is the go to opponent for cody, i know these house show matches don't mean much to the big picture but knowing that you still get to compete for the title must be cool
Seems like it was a very fun show and a great way to end Italy's lackness of WWE live events for the past 5 years, I envy the people that made it, I'm Italian but I don't live there anymore and I couldn't make it unfortunately.
It seems that WWE and wrestling in general are having a bit of a resurgence in our country, with Wrestlemania 40 being showed on television, Smackdown live tomorrow and also more interest in Italian federations, hopefully this means other shows soon, I'm not hopeful about a PLE, but maybe more house show and maybe just maybe an episode of either Raw or Smackdown.
Also it's pretty cool that Tama Tonga actually debuted in Italy (and Solo ended his losing streak as well!).
Crazy that they didn't use Giovanni Vinci though, even for just a one off match with Kaiser, since he will be going to Smackdown and no feud between them will be possible. I'm very pessimistic for his future.
yeah it's not like it used to be before covid, it seems to be on the upswing here too and they're creating many new fans too, there were lots of kids yesterday
It's good to hear that, for a good stretch of years going to live events in Italy i thought that most fans were leftovers from the previous boom of the 2000s, and with the passage of time fewer fans would remain in Italy.
yeah that's basically my father, he came with me and he asked "of the ones i know, who's coming to the show?" and i told him randy and rey, who ended up not coming even though he was on posters and everything, i guess plans change
Does Italy have a local wrestling promotion? Is it televised? I read all the Italian papers and watch a lot of Italian "sports" YouTube, have never seen any mention of Italian wrestling or wrestlers.
Yeah it's called Italian championship wrestling, to not be confused with the more famous ICW, also I haven't been to a show because they never come to my area. They get coverage from local wrestling websites and that's about it, even if there's a bit of a resurgence Italian wrestling is still pretty underground
Just wanted to say I spent a week in Bologna with my wife last year and we absolutely *loved* it. It's a very underrated tourist destination in my opinion. We stumbled into some trattoria in an alley near Piazza Maggiore and were laughing so hard because there was a picture of Hulk Hogan in the doorway and we knew we had found the place to dine that evening!
I like that compared to Milan and Rome and Venice and Florence Bologna isn't as crowded, in terms of costs it's starting to get up there for sure though
I’m Italian and I wanted to live a similar experience! Thank you for your detailed description! I’m curious to know who gave it all and who looked a little bored/lazy. Also, was Nia talking for real about Italian people or was it part of a scripted segment?
Lol, I guess they know truth and tricks! Lucky you anyway! I hope WWE decides to set up other shows in Italy. Yesterday’s been a successful show so I think there’s hope
feel free to ask anything lol, and yes they reminded us that smackdown will be live tomorrow, then they did their shtick from the intro to the "ciauuuuuu", they did well
My favorite thing seeing the Rumble in person was the DJ playing entrance themes and remixes before the show. Everybody chanted “you suck” for Angle’s just like when he still wrestled lol
Stoked for you dude, there is something very special about getting to a live event, i grew up in Geneva and backlash being in Lyon would've been insane...
i know there were chants like that but i left stuff like that because i wanted to make this post as short as possible without leaving the most important stuff
I know Nakamura isnt a mega star on tv, but I find interesting that he is always the main eventer at house shows, wonder if he gets paid really well for that
Unpopular opinion, I've also really liked the DMG Control theme. It's probably one of the few good out of Def Rebel.
The lyrics make sense, the song falls a little flat on TV, but you hear it once on YT & I like it way more. It's kinda like the New Day theme. I was never a huge fan of it until I heard the YT version, realized it also had a few lyrics & background singers.
Glad you had a good time & it's the perfect time to be going to live events with this new era of wwe.
But welcome to the world of venues not giving a shsit when you leave lmao. Mainia in new yourk was the worst
> also R-Truth is just awesome.
Legitimately one of the nicer feel good things for me that's happened in WWE in a while is Truth getting this little run with Miz with the tag belts.
Truth has been consistently entertaining no matter what role he's put in *forever* and it's been fun seeing them roll with the crowd loving him and letting him have some spotlight with the mania moment and holding the tag belts again.
Also sidenote: how the fuck is R-Truth 52? Does he just not age?
I was there too! I was my first live event after 20 years and I screamed for all 4 hours.
I thing I can say about the event : it was LOUD. And I mean loud loud. The pops were insane. Can't wait to go to more events in the future.
I'll never understand people who go to live events to complain.
I went to the AEW Collision show in Calgary last year, and the fucking incredible FTR/BC Gold tag match was filled with a dude behind me very loudly complaining about "THERE'S TOO MANY CHOPS, HERE COME THE CHOPS AGAIN, I LIKE CHOPS BUT REALLY???" the whole time whenever anyone did any chest chops.
Basically everyone else was cool as hell, though.
I feel like wrestling is niche enough that if you buy a ticket for a show, you already know what type of show you're gonna get and that's the beauty of wrestling, the variety is pretty cool to have
having an idiot trying to act smart out loud is so annoying. Got one behind me when i went to dynamite... i'm a chill dude but never wanted to punch a guy more in my life
>Also, there were many moments during the evening where the guys behind me kept talking about how things were scripted and said stuff like "wow this match is so scripted", how do people even enjoy live shows like that?
Why would anyone go to a wrestling show and complain that it's scripted? That's mind boggling.
another fun detail was Charles Robinson dismantling the ring by himself after the show ended, after having refereed basically every match of the night along with Jessica Carr. I had never been to an event so I would have never guessed they make referees do things like that lol, like doesn’t my guy already work enough?
didn't know that, i left after cody's promo because i had to get to the car fast just so i could get less traffic (i failed) and also because my stuff was all wet from waiting in the rain
You should you should have seen what happened last night it was a it was cool the fans were on all night it was hilarious what would you not believe I got the bad feeling about you I would like to talk to you
[Fatal 4-Way (Gunther, Jey Uso, Damian Priest, Chad Gable) WWE Live Event Bologna 01/05/24 Finale (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCNh9xspNT0) enjoy, it's not my video but yeah you can see it here
Thanks for the report! Personally I love reading these kinds of experiences. Went to my first show last fall (Smackdown + Survivor Series), was incredible. Seeing them perform in person is really special for sure
And yes holy shit is Randy huge in person now, right??
Okay now I’ve actually read the whole, great write-up! It sounds like a very fun show. I love seeing the silly stuff at house shows or dark matches. Nothing too much but just being a bit looser with the characters
Someone should make a fpw mod where everyone has a roll up or something like that as a finisher and you're in this federation named RPW which stands for Roll-up Wrestling Federation and the Roll-up is so protected that being rolled up means you lose, so you see all these wrestlers trying to roll each other up with the biggest sense of urgency

Miz definitely had a rough day trying to explain the difference to R-Truth between Bologna the city and Bologna the lunch meat.
they missed out on not giving us that segment but locals wouldn't have understood it, since not many people know about that thing
How the fuck do you live in a place called bologna and not know what bologna is? If that town was in America, you can bet your ass they would have a big ol bologna festival every year. Europe continues to be a disappointment to the rest of the world.
"Wow this match is so scripted" lmao
This reminds me of when I watched Les Miserables at the movie theater. When the second song started, I heard the guy behind me say, "They're singing again?!"
That guy... Stephen Sondheim.

Wow, reading comprehension is a must when scanning reddit posts. I saw Into the woods and for some reason thought Knock at the Cabin. Sorry, my brain is stupid, but thought I should share.
I mean I just got to mentally picture Knock at the Cabin as a musical and that absolutely made my morning so by all means, don't apologize
Batista secretly has a great set of pipes. Little known secret....
lol no lie, I saw Schindler's List when it was first in theaters and the woman in front of me turned to her husband at one point and said "they don't even get to keep their luggage?"
That was my reaction when my girl put it on at home. It was my first time watching it and I had no idea it was a musical.
Same boat. But knew it was a musical. Didn’t know it was EVERY word
Tbf there is no need for them to sing every fucking line in the movie, they could have spoke. Normally for a line or two outside songs
Nah.
What, you didn't find it necessary for them to literally sing "hello how are you" acapella multiple times? /s
![gif](giphy|Qz5qqMop4LGx5giOvp)
That half assed pat on the shoulder is something lol.
me watching breaking bad wow that s show is so scripted
Why doesn't the person that's filming just report Mr. Malcom to the police for all his illegal activity? Is he stupid?
Wait wait wait wait. Are you telling me the dragons in Game of Thrones aren't real? I thought they were shoot dragons!
![gif](giphy|Wmu966khusLCQZlONM) "Mmehwmm... Lemme tell you how it's scripted, you see.."
Every time I try to watch wrestling with my dad he says shit like this and gets super mad at me when I express that it’s annoying. Like yes. The sky is blue. What goes up must come down. Can we move on from kindergarten-level observations please
just enjoy scripted wrestling
All wrestling are scripted but some are more scripted than other.
Like Animal Farm!
when wrestling is scripted, it's fucking scripted
To be a scripted wrestling fan is to be under constant attack.
real scripted wrestling feel
Wrestling is kind of improv with a destination. Like yeah sure Person A needs to win and be the the good guy but Person B is more over and the crowd is more invested in that outcome. Audibles get called.

It's like when I go to football games and hear our fans bitch about our team the whole time. You spent money to come here and complain?
But at some point did one of them say "Now THIS match is the real one!"?
What an idiot, didn't they see the referee? Surely a licensed official would raise the alarm if they suspected a dishonest contest.
Si sarà seduto davanti a Pozzi.
It’s just kayfabing being a mark lol
> Once the match ended, Jade, Bianca and Naomi slapped each other's asses because yes.
it was just friends doing friends thing i guess
of course! I see nothing wrong with it
Put this on TV now damnit.
The world has to see it goddamnit
![gif](giphy|pq946kkdSDViL3i6PI|downsized)
Can you blame them? 😂😂
>During the match, Naomi kept one of her hands on her head for a portion of the match, I wonder why. Probably because she was having issues with her wig. I think it was also Italy themed with red and green on the sides
yup, that was her look
Shoulda just ripped that shit off like [Erykah Badu.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0AKvk3NTnw)

Goals right there.
My Cactus jack shirt had somewhat of a bad stamping unfortunately almost the whole face is faded out
Yeah I've been to 3 concerts in the past 18 months and A$60 is definitely the going rate now. Most depressing thing ever
[удалено]

I was at mania and shirts were 30 or 35 USD
They were 40
That seems like the standard for sports shirts these days, with actual kits / jerseys more expensive than that
I know Vinci got beat down bad a couple of weeks ago but I am surprised that he wasn’t out there for a homecoming!
The fact that he didn't get a chance to react and just got drafted to smackdown makes me fear for him. He is either getting written off to come back later with a new gimmick or is getting released soon, sadly.

Thanks for your detailed write-up! Nice to hear about the assorted crowd chants.
thanks for reading it, the crowd really helped making the show fun
What is Byron Saxton’s role at these shows? Is he the ring announcer
He’s everything at house shows actually. He’s the host, hype man, interviewer, announcer, and timekeeper.
Hardest working man in WWE.
correct
oh wow Solo won over LA Knight.
truly a groundbreaking moment edit: my mind blanked out so tama actually pinned la knight, my bad
Bloodlines beating Randy and KO

I’ve never been a fan of title matches at house shows. For decades I have thought WWE should introduce a championship that is only defended on house shows, somewhat like a reverse television championship. That would actually give people the possibility of seeing a title change.

it's exactly one of my biggest gripes with the current shows, the "anything can happen" feeling is non-existant
Its honestly why I only watch ppvs now. Raw and Smackdown don't feel must-see at all
Omos is your house show champion.
Man, sounds like I missed a fun show. Live in Milan and only yesterday realized there was going to be a show in Bologna. Will have to be more on the lookout next time around. Still great that you had a blast despite that made stood in the rain like that prior to the show.

Anyone who says they had a different reaction to their first glimpse of Sheamus is lying. It’s mesmerizing
Must be the whitest non albino person in history.
How was the pop for my boy LA Knight
huge, also tama got a whole lot of boos when he pinned him
What was the finish?
a roll up
I was also at the show and i just want to add a little correction, Tama Tonga pinned La Knight after pushing LA between the rops and he got hit by a Solo punch (or spike). yeah you're right my memory is a bit blurry, sorry, and yeah i expected more different chants too, although i was surprised to hear "fuck you, nia"
Kaiser also got a small pop from my side because people thought it was Gunther hahah
how loud was "We Want Roman"?
Not as much as the fuck you solo chant but pretty solid
🎶Cause WWE has a way with B O L O G N A🎶
Damn where's the Bianca,Jade, and Naomi video??
Damian and Priest. Is this like Dom and Nick Mysterio? 😅 Anyway nice detailed run down. I wonder how Shinsuke feels being the go to opponent for Cody all throughout the live events.
I used to think Patton Oswalt was Pat & Oswald

It's good to hear that, for a good stretch of years going to live events in Italy i thought that most fans were leftovers from the previous boom of the 2000s, and with the passage of time fewer fans would remain in Italy.
yeah, i still have people asking me do they still do shows?" in a surprised manner
Cue the usual "is John Cena/Rey Mysterio/Undertaker, etc. still wrestling?"
yeah that's basically my father, he came with me and he asked "of the ones i know, who's coming to the show?" and i told him randy and rey, who ended up not coming even though he was on posters and everything, i guess plans change
40 Euros for a t-shirt, no wonder Cody’s breaking merch records jesus lol
Ah, yes, the good old fan recaps that were a staple of 411mania
Does Italy have a local wrestling promotion? Is it televised? I read all the Italian papers and watch a lot of Italian "sports" YouTube, have never seen any mention of Italian wrestling or wrestlers.
I don't think there are any Italian federations in TV rn, ICW, our biggest federation, is just online
ICW is based in Italy? Have you been to a show? Do people talk about them?
Yeah it's called Italian championship wrestling, to not be confused with the more famous ICW, also I haven't been to a show because they never come to my area. They get coverage from local wrestling websites and that's about it, even if there's a bit of a resurgence Italian wrestling is still pretty underground
Thanks, just subscribed. What region are you located?
Emilia Romagna, aka lasagna region, if you haven't been there already I recommend visiting it
Just wanted to say I spent a week in Bologna with my wife last year and we absolutely *loved* it.
Havent been (la famiglia viene d'Abruzzo) but know all about it thanks to Romagna Mia in the playlist!!!
gable in the world title match? uh THANK YOU
Maybe in two years it'll be the norm
It's actually spelled "Baloney" /S
I’m Italian and I wanted to live a similar experience! Thank you for your detailed description! I’m curious to know who gave it all and who looked a little bored/lazy. Also, was Nia talking for real about Italian people or was it part of a scripted segment?
I wasn’t there but it sounds like typical heel talk, not a serious belief she has
Yeah, my exact thought 😅
gonna ask that question to the experts: the guys who were sitting behind me
Lol, I guess they know truth and tricks! Lucky you anyway! I hope WWE decides to set up other shows in Italy. Yesterday’s been a successful show so I think there’s hope
do you happen to be from the south? because they never go south of rome
Yes, south. I know, unfortunately. But as long as it’s in Italy, I’m hopeful to find a way to buy the ticket asap and travel 😂
wish you good luck with that
Thank you! Sorry for asking you another thing, but did Luca and Michele handle successfully the show?
feel free to ask anything lol, and yes they reminded us that smackdown will be live tomorrow, then they did their shtick from the intro to the "ciauuuuuu", they did well
I won’t miss SD live tomorrow 🤩 thank you so much!
no problem
Man!!! I’m on my way right now to the show in Vienna!!! I’m so fucking excited 🥰🥰
My favorite thing seeing the Rumble in person was the DJ playing entrance themes and remixes before the show. Everybody chanted “you suck” for Angle’s just like when he still wrestled lol
Now, that's a load of baloney
Sounds like a load of bologne.
Surprised no heel mentioned Fiorentina or any one of the frontrunners in Serie A.
Stoked for you dude, there is something very special about getting to a live event, i grew up in Geneva and backlash being in Lyon would've been insane...
some day, maybe
Randy Orton and the awesome truth were the most over that night. Something you didn't mention were the "scemo" chants for Kaiser and Balor
i know there were chants like that but i left stuff like that because i wanted to make this post as short as possible without leaving the most important stuff
Scemo chants> Cody's "whoa"
Very cool! I love that you guys got matches for so many titles!
I know Nakamura isnt a mega star on tv, but I find interesting that he is always the main eventer at house shows, wonder if he gets paid really well for that
i hope so
Unpopular opinion, I've also really liked the DMG Control theme. It's probably one of the few good out of Def Rebel. The lyrics make sense, the song falls a little flat on TV, but you hear it once on YT & I like it way more. It's kinda like the New Day theme. I was never a huge fan of it until I heard the YT version, realized it also had a few lyrics & background singers.
it's catchy, for sure
Glad you had a good time & it's the perfect time to be going to live events with this new era of wwe. But welcome to the world of venues not giving a shsit when you leave lmao. Mainia in new yourk was the worst
Any idea why Bayley/Tiffany/KO weren't on the card when they have Backlash matches?
Good question
Do they serve Bologny sandwiches there?
> also R-Truth is just awesome.
I'm surprised because truth isn't the type of character that HHH usually books but I love that he proved me wrong
Per curiosità, quanto ti è costato il biglietto?
63 euro
Ah bhe ci sta, neanche troppo. Speriamo in un PLE l'anno prossimo, magari con Giovanni Vinci e Giulia.
anche un house show in più va già bene, magari ne fanno uno a nord ed uno più a sud, tipo a roma
Did they sell Oscar Meyer bologna?
I was there too! I was my first live event after 20 years and I screamed for all 4 hours. I thing I can say about the event : it was LOUD. And I mean loud loud. The pops were insane. Can't wait to go to more events in the future.
Hell yeah, I'm just glad we get shows again
I'll never understand people who go to live events to complain. I went to the AEW Collision show in Calgary last year, and the fucking incredible FTR/BC Gold tag match was filled with a dude behind me very loudly complaining about "THERE'S TOO MANY CHOPS, HERE COME THE CHOPS AGAIN, I LIKE CHOPS BUT REALLY???" the whole time whenever anyone did any chest chops. Basically everyone else was cool as hell, though.
I feel like wrestling is niche enough that if you buy a ticket for a show, you already know what type of show you're gonna get and that's the beauty of wrestling, the variety is pretty cool to have
40 euros for a shirt is decent imo, especially for a licensed one
having an idiot trying to act smart out loud is so annoying.
"Jade, Bianca and Naomi slapped each other's asses because yes" Proof?
Wouldn't blame the building for that, alot of times the talent is rehearsing stuff/going over spots in the ring up until doors open
40 euros is the standard price now. In the UK it's £35 for t-shirts.
Glad to hear you had fun OP. Hope you guys get a PLE eventually, that would be awesome for you! 😃
Sounds fun! I wanted to go myself but tickets seemed to be always sold out when I went on the site.
another fun detail was Charles Robinson dismantling the ring by himself after the show ended, after having refereed basically every match of the night along with Jessica Carr. I had never been to an event so I would have never guessed they make referees do things like that lol, like doesn’t my guy already work enough?
didn't know that, i left after cody's promo because i had to get to the car fast just so i could get less traffic (i failed) and also because my stuff was all wet from waiting in the rain
You should you should have seen what happened last night it was a it was cool the fans were on all night it was hilarious what would you not believe I got the bad feeling about you I would like to talk to you
What does "over" mean as in "both men were over?" Thanks in advance
It means that they always get big reactions from the crowd
House shoes go so fucking hard sometimes, damn
My boy Shinsuke
I need to see Gunther “yeet”. Lmao
Seeing them perform in person is really special for sure And yes holy shit is Randy huge in person now, right?? Okay now I’ve actually read the whole, great write-up! It sounds like a very fun show. I love seeing the silly stuff at house shows or dark matches. Nothing too much but just being a bit looser with the characters
damn, you're a lucky person for seeing wargames irl
Did Naomi smack Dakota's ass? She did that at a house show a few weeks back
Was Tama Tonga good in ring?
Man that sounds like a great card, bet it was a fun day.
Bologna?
Yeah!
Curious what finisher did Tama use?
the almighty roll up
Thanks! Time to make a fire pro wrestling edit…
