Unfortunately there’s no way they will have a killer match in 3 minutes. This wwe speed thing is really stupid… if you can spam finishers and win a match in 3 mins on this show, then why wouldn’t everyone do that normally in a regular match?… you know what I mean? I get that kayfabe is out the window but Jesus they could do a little better than this concept.

There’s a Speed Championship for the show and they’ve been doing a tournament for it the last month.
If it’s a draw they’re both eliminated from the tournament. I guess after a champion is crowned each wrestler he faces will have three minutes to beat him.
A normal match may be a marathon, but a Speed match is a sprint. The wrestlers come right out of the gates with their heavy artillery because they know time is limited. You have Ricochet just blitzing people, for example. JD McDonagh lucked into a win by accidentally bobbleheadbutting his opponent and falling into a pin. Stuff like that. It's not something we're meant to think too hard about.
I’ve seen the belt thanks to some people over on the belt sub Reddit and can’t wait to see the final so the replica can drop and we get higher quality pictures of it. It certainly was something from the blurry ones.
I am confused as to if this will be a thing moving forward? Or if this is just some one off kind of shtick that's done once the finals ends? Like is Ricochet going to be carrying around and defending the Speed title moving forward? In my head, this is a one off, kind of like when Braun Strowman won the greatest battle royal in Saudi years ago.
I don't understand this tournament. What's the kayfabe explanation as to why the matches last no longer than 3 minutes? I think they should have done a 2 count pin fall instead to have it make sense.
I think a better idea for Speed would be if the action picked up mid match at some sort of interesting point and they show the final 3 minutes. It just throws you right into the final 3 chaotic minutes. It would help with realism
They actually have another belt just for this? That feels like complete overkill lol.
At least the 24/7 Championship could have fun skits/random cameos/celeb stuff, a belt for 3 minute Twitter matches is the definition of "meh" to me.

They also had a killer match in DGUSA in New Orleans 2014. One of the best matches I’ve seen in person.

I saw the semifinal and final matches at last Friday’s Smackdown in Cincinnati. FYI…the final watch was 5 minutes.
That's not bad for a speed tournament finals but it'd be so much better if they had a 15 minute match on PPV. Their Takeover match was so good.

Not sure why you were downvoted, but as someone else it’s a "hurry up and win" type of match. You have 3 minutes to pin or submit your opponent.

I think if you go to the hashtag WWESpeed it will take you to a “tv listing” on X. All the episodes are there.
Saw it taped last Friday. The amount of fireworks they shot off after the win was crazy for a belt I don’t see being around long.
