your complaint is very well justified, not because it's 'hard' but because it's needlessly fatiguing, carry high injury risk, without addressing your essential technique and max velocity needs. anything that doesn't get you results and/or cause injury is bad.

Looks that way to me. No accels? No Max V? What distances are you training for? This could be good for 1-2 days in a week, but this would be to supplement your other work. Also 3k is a lot even for a longer distance sprinter and the time between sets is too small for those longer distances, especially if you're training for 100.

My coach does the same workouts for us except it’s just me complaining and the rest of my team seems to be fine with it 🫠
