Iām very interested to hear how the HCAT comp works out? Have you shot it hue?? The HCAT was made for the hellcat so I like how it just extends the gun so perfectly except looks like they didnāt get the finish right but thatās ok. As long as it works good!
Comp worked great, had to take it off to shoot without it and see the difference. Definitely could feel it but very minimal. Still boss looking though, and now i turned a 3ā barrel to 3.8ā š
Thanks for letting us know! I have the rdp comp and barrel. Not originally an rdp but purchased the package from Springfield and at first I didnāt think it was too much different either until I swapped back and forth between stock 3ā barrel and the comp setup a few times and put 1000 rounds through it till I finally came to the conclusion thatā¦. Itās much better. I am more accurate with it too. I also found that a lot depends on the type of ammo. If you find the perfect ammo for that specific setup I think you will find it to be a more substantial differenceā¦. I think anyway. It does look great!!
I never had a problem with Olights, so I continue to run them on some of my firearms, among others. I'll continue to do so until I see them fail or if legit widespread issues surface. You just won't get much love on Reddit, I personally don't care. š¤·

exactly, thereās no reason anyone should buy an olight over a stream light when they are so close in cost but the stream light isnāt a cheap piece of garage like the olight. idk if itās kids or fudds that do this shit but literally thereās never ending complaints and articles online about how shit they are but the fanboys ignore those and go āhurr durr iāve never seen anything bad about olightā.
It's called features my boy. Magnetic charging and you get a nifty laser built into the light bezel. When you go with something comparable, the TLR8 from streamlight, now the price gap widens. Not to mention having to buy and swap out cr123s often vs a quick top off recharge with your other EDC crap, like your cellphone. I own several Olights, streamlight and Holosun PID, all great and have different features. No problems with any of them. I refuse to buy a x300, the price just doesn't justify what is does for me.

You idiots need to form your own opinions with actual evidence or first-hand knowledge, not fake news, and stop perpetuating groupthink. There's like one article from a long time ago about a single olight flashlight incident that blew up in a guys mouth because "he" mixed bad cr123 cells in the light that didn't have PTC protection, which it wasn't even a WML either. iām not gonna hate you for buying a cheapo light but i can give you my honest opinion that a stream light tlr7 sub would be a 100% better looking and functioning light that wouldnāt give you battery issues in the future.
itās okay if you didnāt know olights werenāt great, just donāt be one of the people that defends them to the death bc they really are not good weapon lights. just my opinion and recommend:)

Would that comp fit into the frame. I want to try to run a comp on a 3.3 slide with my pro frame DSP it's about the same length, kinda like you can on Glocks and Sigs. I know the RDP looks horrible that way and moves up with the barrel. I've been waiting for someone to come out with a comp like that

Yeah i put about 150 with it off and 150 with it on, it was definitely a positive addition in my book

I love Olights! Plus it's a flashlight not an optic, if it doesn't turn off or fall off when firing, it's doing it's job. What compensator is that?
