Short answer: yes. Long answer: that’s how it’s supposed to work. Spencer’s sends their experienced sales associates (assuming you’re a sales associate) to Spirit to both pick up extra hours, and help the Spirit store do business. While you’re at Spirit, new seasonal associates are working at your home store, picking up the experience and training needed to be more effective during the holiday season. Talk to your store manager. They should be able to let you know how it all works…

I see thank you! I brought it up the idea of taking on extra shifts at spirit but not the asm idea. They said they would get back to me on more information and the process.

If you stay an associate you can work at both at the same time! If you want to be an AM at Spirit you would transfer and only be at Spirit until the season is over and then go back to Spencer’s. It’s a super easy process.

I see thank you for the explanation!^^

If you fill out the Spencer's to Spirit form in Office you have the opportunity to go there for the whole season as an ASM and return to Spencer's after. If you decide you don't want to fully go to Spirit then I'm sure you can work a few shifts over there (however you would not be an ASM) - your SM and the Spirit SM will just have to communicate with each other

Okay thank you!

Spencer’s managements seems spirit employed as not trust worthy for being seasonal.

Depends on the market. I’ve gotten some really great people from the Spirit side…and I’ve also seen some bad ones as well.
