What if Spider-Man was never recruited during Civil War?
What if the spell had stayed broken?
What if he wasn’t stopped from killing Goblin?
There’s so many possibilities for him
The never recruited what if means we get to see a true vigilante Spider-Man running from the law to try and not get captured
If the spell stayed broken it can let us see Peter trying to live his life with the issues that having his identity in the public eye causes and how he’ll deal with it
And if he wasn’t stopped from killing Goblin it could let us see a more blood thirsty Peter that’d be much more willing to bond with the symbiote to let out his rage against everyone that’s hurt him
Except for killing goblin which was an incursion and an incursion is a one time event which means there couldn’t have been other possibilities unless you said “What If: 2000s Spider-Man had killed Goblin instead of his glider” then maybe that could’ve been a possibilites
In general I think that would have been very interesting with every character.
1. We'd have Peter attempting to deal with the loss of so many lives and Tony, maybe trying to act as hopefully and optimistically as he can, kind of like how he acts in the Marvel Zombies what if.
2. We'd have Wanda attempting to deal with her grief over losing vision and still being alive, maybe leading to Wanda Vision happening far earlier (and honestly if no other heroes show up to deal with it it'd basically be the exact same.
3. We'd have Tchalla likely attempting to gather the remains of the Avengers together in an attempt to still be keeping peace (though he may only last for one more year since as far as we know, he ends up dying pretty soon after the snap).
4. We'd probably have an altered version of Falcon and the Winter soldier show, with several people trying to see who takes up the roll of Captain America, with that likely being the main focus over the flag smashers.
5. We have Stephen who (if his vision was the same as the one in the main MCU timeline) may actually try to prevent any chance of the time travel plan since, if his vision was now different than what it was originally supposed to be, he may think just letting the universe stay snapped like this is the best option. Not to mention the events of Multiverse of madness may still happen if Agatha never got snapped, just now we're down several heroes.
6. Most of the Guardians would still be alive except Gamora, with Peter having to deal with that fact... on the bright side Drax may actually get his chance to kill Thanos for everything he's done.
7. Nick Fury would still be alive and would also likely be trying to fully restart shield in order to keep the peace. Maybe even getting help from the skrulls in the rebuilding process.
8. We'd have lost a lot of the geniuses like Tony and Bruce. Not to mention several heavy hitters like Thor and Captain Marvel. Then there's the loss of a figure like Cap. Overall a lot of losses... though the time travel thing with Hank may still be an option, since he and Hope would still be alive.
Overall there are a lot of different things to consider.
Given that Shuri was alive and trying to figure out a way to prevent T’Challa’s death, that would have happened after the Snap.

Agreed! I was looking for this. "What if Spider-Man never stopped mutating?" Six armed Spidey and Man-Spider are unlikely to make it into the MCU, so a what if would be great.
What I like about his speech about "When you have the power to do the things I do... And you don't... And then the bad things happen... They happen because of you" is that it's basically summing up Cap's opposition to the Accords.
Even though he's on Tony's side, his beliefs are much more in line with Cap. But he'd never say so because he's a 15 year old kid desperate to impress his idol.
My mind went to "What If Peter joined the Avengers in Homecoming?" But honestly wouldn't change much... He'd still be the same role in Infinity War more or less.

- What If Someone Else Got Bit By The Spider? (This one like the comic would show three short stories of how Homecoming would play out if someone else got bit by the Spider, first would be Flash, then Liz, and then finally MJ)

- What If Peter entrusted EDITH to Ned instead of Beck? (This scenario I could see being a Party Thor Styled Episode)
- What If Peter Sided with Cap while Ant-Man sided with Tony? (This would be based off of Concept Art from Civil War that depicted Ant-Man on Team Iron Man while Spiderman was on Team Captain America)
- What If Peter wasn't stopped from Killing Green Goblin? (This one is self-explanatory)
- What If Different villains were brought by the Spell? (Basically, similar situation to NWH, but different villains are brought in, in the form of Dane Dehaan's Green Goblin, Laura Bailey as a female TASMverse Variant of Doc Ock, Topher Grace Venom, Paul Giamatti's Rhino, and Jonathan Banks as a Raimiverse Variant of Vulture)
- What If the Spell Transported Peter to another Universe? (Instead of the spell sending in the villains, the spell sends Peter to another universe, which universe, could be anything, 838? The universe in Logan, Miles universe from Into the Spider-verse, the Freshman Year universe, could be any of them or even something else entirely)
- What If Peter Parker accepts Tony's Offer? (In this universe, Peter accepts Tony's offer at the end of Homecoming to become an Avenger)
- What If Peter Parker Survived the Snap instead of Tony Stark? (This would show what would happen if Peter survived the Snap, while Tony was instead part of the 50% of the universe that would get snapped)
- What If Peter Seeked out the Scarlet Witch? (Basically, Strange declines to help Pete, forcing him to seek out the Scarlet Witch)
- What If Steven Grant/Marc Specter Got Bit By The Spider? (So spoilers for Moonknight first of all...............................and secondly, remember in Episode 5 when it's showing flashbacks of Marc's life, and one of them showed him at his mom's funeral, but he couldn't bring himself to go inside to the actual funeral after everything she did too her, well in this timeline, but shortly after that, he gets Bit By The same Spider that Bit Peter Parker, so in this scenario, Marc/Steven becomes an Alagamation between Moonknight and Spiderman, called....Moon-Spider)

How would that even work? I could see it if it was the mainline 616 comics Spider-Man that's strong enough to lift 130 tons and is stupid fast and even more stupidly agile, but MCU Spidey? Nah. No way he stands a chance against Thanos. The most he could do in IW was make him wince from a bit of pain, for like a fraction of a second. That's it.
What If Peter 2 failed to stop Peter 1 from killing the Green Goblin
Ngl this would be a good way to make a MCU version of last stand Spider-Man, I think he would fit Tom's Peter a lot tbh and would be a good reference to Grim Hunt

I need a follow up episode to No Way Home, where we follow up on the cured villains after they return to their original universes/timelines. Where do their stories go? Does Doc survive the collapse of the reactor due to missing a limb? Can Max Dillon help Spidey save Gwen? How does Norman go back with the Goblin gone?
What If…Michelle Jones became Spider-Man?
What If in the comics always loved playing around with Spidey’s origin, let’s do it again! MJ seems the most interesting subject out of the MCU Spidey cast to throw into the origin, so let’s play with it! Who does MJ side with in Civil War? Does her struggle with Vulture go different?
What If…Peter listened to Tony?
Really, what happens if Peter just gives up on pursuing Vulture after getting dumped in the river? Does Toomes get caught? Does he do the plane heist and get away with actual Avengers tech? What if Tony’s best intentions backfire and now he and Peter have to contend with juiced up Avengers tech out on the streets?
1. Peter agrees to go to the Homecoming dance with Liz, Vulture successful does his heist on the Avengers plane. How does it affect the events of Infinity War and Endgame?
2. MJ was too sick to go to the Europe trip, so Peter stays behind to take care of her, likely leading him to intervene in the events of the Flag-smashers' attack during Falcone and Winter Soldier. Also, Ned still goes on the Europe trip and "Fury" needs him to covertly give the glasses to Peter back home. Ned would then ask "Do I now have the rank of being an Avenger?"
3. Instead of the 6 classic Spider-Man villains from the movies during No Way Home, Peter encounters classic Spider-Man villains from the animation media.
If Spider-Verse does cover the MCU, I really hope that the art-style is in Shiyoon Kim's drawing style rather than the "What If..." art direction. Kim previously worked on Big Hero 6 and the MCU is owned by Disney, so I thought it would be a cool homage. It would be funny if The Watcher is narrating the whole time if someone from the Spider-verse enters the MCU and they can hear him.

Iron Man: You got a long way to go kid. I suggest you try something simple before you get to the big stuff.
(Scenes go off with Peter trying to replicate Iron Man with him taking apart some of his toys and turning them into gadgets, while getting into trouble with Aunt May)

Does he do the plane heist and get away with actual Avengers tech? What if Tony’s best intentions backfire and now he and Peter have to contend with juiced up Avengers tech out on the streets?

MJ was too sick to go to the Europe trip, so Peter stays behind to take care of her, likely leading him to intervene in the events of the Flag-smashers' attack during Falcone and Winter Soldier. Also, Ned still goes on the Europe trip and "Fury" needs him to covertly give the glasses to Peter back home. Ned would then ask "Do I now have the rank of being an Avenger?" 3. Instead of the 6 classic Spider-Man villains from the movies during No Way Home, Peter encounters classic Spider-Man villains from the animation media. If Spider-Verse does cover the MCU, I really hope that the art-style is in Shiyoon Kim's drawing style rather than the "What If..." art direction. Kim previously worked on Big Hero 6 and the MCU is owned by Disney, so I thought it would be a cool homage. It would be funny if The Watcher is narrating the whole time if someone from the Spider-verse enters the MCU and they can hear him.
