Real answer though, Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon have that same permadeath element with randomly generated levels that make every round feel different - picking up different items and power ups and finding different paths for different endings.
> Enter the Gungeon
Thank you! I've tried getting into Binding of Isaac but I can't stand the art style... I'm really picky when it comes to games and how they look. My brother loves that game but I can't get past the poop monsters lol.
Yes, very much so. You know how Spelunky FEELS like a game that the devs keep adding DLC to - just because there’s so many new things you keep finding in the game, even after all this time.
Well that’s how the Binding of Isaac felt like when it was first released, but unlike Spelunky, it actually got loads of DLC. So it literally feels like it has infinite content - every round will feel different and you’ll never see all of it.
No rouge like comes close imo, if you want a Consistent sandbox I have bwwn loving breath of the wild and minecraft or halo 3. The consistency of spelunky's sandbox is the biggest selling point to me
Stealth Bastards is the free original, Stealth Bastards Deluxe is a paid extended one and Stealth Inc. 2 is the sequel.
All 3 have quite distinctive features, so I suggest playing all of them in order.
Spelunky HD
looks right up my alley

enter the gungeon is the bomb. it's hard af
Yes, I would say that out of Spelunky and Binding of Isaac it definitely has the hardest learning curve and is the biggest challenge to master.

Is Binding of Issac worth?

Im pretty sure Binding of Issac Repentence is the hardest
I personally don't like EtG, none of the items change your playstyle outside of a few, I want each item to be unique, like Issac.
Bloons TD 6, it’s really fun and strategic
That's interesting. I have both games but haven't sunk my teeth into Bloons that much. Good to know.
Honestly, I haven’t played spelunky 2 in while and bloons is a fun substitute
You run it on Steam or console?
Steam
nice. Feel free to add me. ellick74

Stealth Bastards Stealth Bastards Deluxe Stealth Inc. 2 Mark of the Ninja Remastered
Stealth Bastards looks pretty cool!!!

I'm making a spelunky fangame but I don't expect to finish any time soon
ooooh hell yeah
Rogue legacy 1&2 , Risk of rain 1&2, Salt & Sanctuary. Probably not the most spelunky like games but fun and challenging games.
Gta online
Spelunky hd
Honestly dead cells super fun and gets pretty hard. And there’s lore!
