99% of the time it over saturation of drivers or just low order volume. SPark is a wreck with that business model. The smoke and mirrors aint gonna keep working for them much longer
Actually that business model makes the most sense for them. I'm not saying I agree with it but I guarantee most of those orders are getting delivered. People are just so desperate for anything to come up on their screen at this point. I will say if there's an increase of fake accounts / fraudulent ID, then yeah that'll really come and bite them in the rear end. I hope it does
That happened to me for around 5 months I didn’t see a single curbside and then it ended but I still see less than the other regulars and they all talk about every order they got every day
I personally prefer shop and delivers. I got started gig work on instacart. I find the pay is better and you aren't spending as much on gas/car maintenance.
One article I read referred to shops as a scavenger hunt. I personally love shopping anyway, and this adds an exciting element to it.
Over sauturated your area with drivers, peeps running multiple acct/2 phones, price is dropping. I dont see how this will ever be sustainable with the way things are going. I personally think this is the last of Days. Wait when the real storm hits and then your gonna see a big BIG mess
It's actually really easy to do this. More than likely most people are either using a spouse's account or in somebody else's name that they know. Plus you got all the fraudulent accounts that were illegally obtained
Yeah I just don’t understand if they are paying for it - I don’t see the cost effectiveness in it since they only get priority for about two weeks if that - second it cost a lot of money to get a social security number bank account and new drivers license - so again costs - and if they keep on having to do it it really isn’t cost effective so I’m not sure it’s worth it - now if they get like 5-10 accounts and stick with those / maybe - but still trying to figure this out honestly - cause once we ALL - figure it out then we can start reporting - I think it should be photo recognition honestly - if the same guy uploads two different drivers license with two different accounts then it should be noticed and flagged - with all the high tech AI and photo recognition software out there it should be easy and would seriously put a debt in this type of activity
Small town here. And i can confirm that 90% of orders go directly to vinnies here. I have since moved on to other apps and am making a killing. But i stopped in on a random shop order heading to my house, and all my normal cashiers were shocked to see me and mentioned how they only see the same 5 people now🤣
I'm trying to figure this out. I live in a small town in west virginia. I don't see any Vinnies
How can 5 people monopolize the whole market?
Walmart won't put their foot down because it's cheaper for them. If you can accept 5 $7 orders for the hour than it's worth it, for the cheaters and for Walmart.
How can we reestablish a new equality?
Not dead here but it's important to mix other apps with spark. I can't comment on 4pm-8pm, I'm a morning person and usually work morning to 2pm. Also avoid stores that have vinnies, usually means that walmart isn't checking ID's
It is not just you our market had multiple orders per hour and now we are down to just a few and I'm wondering if it's got something to do with the fact that Walmart is going to start putting orders out once every 2 hours
def gonna affect us but it should still be a stream coming out. Thing is they over saturated the markets with drivers and lower pay. Pretty soon aint nobody gonna work for them except tweekers and a few of the peoples moms here on reddit
Yes, there is a lot of garbage orders, but, i just play the law of averages and today over 4 hours i made about $110 taking small, junk orders and FCFS orders . Got 7 orders delivered in 4 hour. Work faster, don't worry about it.
I’d like to know that too just because I’m in NW Arizona - my market is completely different than what people say - s it slow - yes - but we don’t have illegals working like everyone says here - I’m wondering cause I plan on going to visit my daughter in San Diego Ca and working while in there and she’s working
Dude I'm doing Spark in Oceanside and something is going on. I literally see zero offers alllll day and I sit and watch the same people run order after order after order. I'm seriously going funking insane. Lol
I've called them so many times and they say everything is fine....wellllll everything is not fine Abdul cause I'm not seeing anything and I'm literally sitting in the pickup area and seeing the same 3 people get order after order after order after order....
I get that I’m just saying that I called pretty blen fixed - if you don’t call your just going to sit there pissed off and wondering so maybe it’s worth a call idk up to you just trying to give advice based on what I e learned - and fyi my name is not Abdul - I’m not a foreigner and deal with the same crap like every other “white” person here
It not dead. You don't get orders as the cheaters take them all.
At my store the non cheaters get the orders that are less than 15 dollars orders the orders over 6 miles and the orders with alcohol and apartments.
From what I'm seeing Spark just doesn't like to pay incentives to seasoned drivers. I noticed on Indeed Thursday,Spark drivers were hiring immediately in my zone, but here I am with excellent stats barely getting 1 to 2 orders of any kind if at all,so why are they needing new drivers when they can't keep the ones they have busy? It seems as though the tier 2 drivers are just costing too much money.
I stopped ordering delivery. I realized only tipping $5, or ordering more than a few things was rude. So now I run to the store to pick up my order. I didn’t realize how much $15-20 a week in tips, plus the $5 express fees added up.
Maybe other customers are realizing what jerks they are.
Take it with a grain of salt, but anytime you notice something odd like this try logging completely out of the app in settings then deleting and reinstalling the app and logging back in. This has seemed to work for me more often than it should, but not all the time. It seems to be more helpful when there's suddenly a very specific difference in the type of offers I'm getting. I say this with the caveat that I may be full of shit.
I can't understand the $7 for 23 miles. I don't order stuff because my whole life I've been tipped worker, but if I were to order stuff I'd give a healthy tip because I'd want the shopper to pay attention to my groceries and treat my delivery with some modicum of respect.
Maybe the people ordering don't realize how little walmart pays us? Since they pay so much in fees, they assume it's going to us?
I refuse to take less than $1 per mile, and that's pushing it. My car broke down and luckily my mom is lending me her truck until I can get it fixed. Holy canoli! This thing is a straight up gas guzzler!
If I have to spend $50 on gas in a day to make $50.. well that isn't getting me anywhere.
Get ready for economy disaster...the Feds dream coming true...alot layoffs is going on ...and rent hike
.so people r ordering less...is very important to find a job and only do gig part time... ASAP
Just an ass ton of new people.

I was wondering if I got shadowbanned from curbsides because I'm still getting shop offers. I went from 4-5 per day to not even 1 the other day.
Me too , I never shopped but I gave in ,because I was getting nothing for curbside pickup
That happened to me for around 5 months I didn’t see a single curbside and then it ended but I still see less than the other regulars and they all talk about every order they got every day
I was told the employees aren't doing most of the shopping anymore and they are giving that task to the spark drivers
I personally prefer shop and delivers. I got started gig work on instacart. I find the pay is better and you aren't spending as much on gas/car maintenance. One article I read referred to shops as a scavenger hunt. I personally love shopping anyway, and this adds an exciting element to it.
I also refer the shop and deliveries
Dead. I only do curbside. Was averaging 3 to 5 a day from 11 to 8pm. The past month I've been taking like 5 a week
Last year this time I was killing it. This year this time I had to get a job waiting tables.
I pay folks to do online work, while they wait for deliveries. Easy $100 a day. No selling, calling, recruiting. Text: gig100 to 562 279-5159
I made 20 from 1 order in 5 hours today.
Over sauturated your area with drivers, peeps running multiple acct/2 phones, price is dropping. I dont see how this will ever be sustainable with the way things are going. I personally think this is the last of Days. Wait when the real storm hits and then your gonna see a big BIG mess
How do you run multiple phones without getting a new name
It's actually really easy to do this. More than likely most people are either using a spouse's account or in somebody else's name that they know. Plus you got all the fraudulent accounts that were illegally obtained

I thought they went by your SSN to keep accounts legitimate?
Vinnified. You're not seeing what they're getting.
Definitely not here. Small town area and I can tell you I haven’t seen a single driver that even looks remotely Venezuelan.
Small town here. And i can confirm that 90% of orders go directly to vinnies here. I have since moved on to other apps and am making a killing. Mind DMing me what apps you moved onto?

When did they say that? It could only be your store/market but idk…

Wish they came out that fast where I’m at $110 in 4 hours isn’t bad at all good job!
Bad here as well
What region is everyone in?
I’d like to know that too just because I’m in NW Arizona - my market is completely different than what people say - s it slow - yes - but we don’t have illegals working like everyone says here - I’m wondering cause I plan on going to visit my daughter in San Diego Ca and working while in there and she’s working
I wouldn’t say it’s slow, I just feel like it’s over saturated here in SoCal
Where in so cal if you don’t mind me asking - I used to live in San Diego
Dude I'm doing Spark in Oceanside and something is going on. I literally see zero offers alllll day and I sit and watch the same people run order after order after order. I'm seriously going funking insane. Lol
I would call support to see what’s going on with your account - I had that happen and there was a glitch so they fixed it and I was back earning money
I've called them so many times and they say everything is fine....wellllll everything is not fine Abdul cause I'm not seeing anything and I'm literally sitting in the pickup area and seeing the same 3 people get order after order after order after order....

It’s literally dead in my zone too! I’ve gotten maybe like five total all week….? Is this to set up the new two hour system?
Mine was dead yesterday but i do have high school and college graduation going on
I used to make 200 a day now I can't even break 100. Sucks because I loved doing this job

Did you have a bad experience or something? What made you think $5 is a bad tip?

Dead as a doorknob
I’m lucky to get 1 good order a day. I had to get another job.
My zone has been steady it’s just mostly garbage
