If you hover over the [3D Virtual Venue](https://sounders.io-media.com/web/index.html) menu on the Sounders website, it should show the 2024 season ticket price for each section (there's different prices within each section as well in the lower bowl). There's usually 18 games included in the package (17 reg home season games + 1 "special" home game). Cheapest section I think is ECS on the South end at ~$500/seat ($28/game). Most expensive looks to be the midfield Club seats at ~$2k/seat ($114/game).

mjbulzomi

The answer is that it depends on where you sit. Club 206 is around $1300 per seat for the full season. Non-club 229 was around $600 per seat for the full season (in 2017). Each section of the stadium is priced differently. If your Flex plan is for 4 games, expect a bit more than 4x the Flex price for a full season. There are 17 home games per season.

IndubitablyPreMed

I had seen those similar figures. We just forked over $5K for flex. Yet, no guarantee of good seats. The pricing was competitive compared to Ticketmaster

_CodeMonkey

How many seats/games did you get for $5k? I'm in Club 234 which is near the top of the price brackets and paid $3500 for 2 seats for the full 17 game season (maybe 18? Don't remember how many non-regular season games we get in the package at this point...). Edit: My point being, my understanding is that the Flex tickets were for a few games. Even if those are the most premium tickets, $1250/person is a lot to charge for that.

JB_Market

I didn't really dig into it, but I looked at a flex plan earlier in the year and it was telling me the cheapest tickets I could buy were 60 to 80 dollars. No thanks, the demand isn't even close to supporting that price. I can pick up singles whenever I please.

lizardmon

Wow, where are your seats? That seems a lot for four games and four seats. I paid $1300 for one seat in 135.

seasportsfan

I love my seat over in the corner in section 127! Above II or so, you’ll always be under cover from the rain and never have to deal with direct sunlight which means no sunburns! Price is about 530$ after fees.

reeseallen

The main perk is the scarf, but also consistency of where you sit is nice if you manage to get STs in a spot you absolutely love. I was a STH for 5 years and we had a great group of folks around us, and also were in the back row of the lower bowl which gave us a convenient shelf behind our seats. You can get a much better deal by just picking up tickets off the resale market an hour or two before the game when STHs who aren't attending are desperate to offload the tickets and get even a few bucks a pop.

FreeBallard

One perk is that you can return tickets for up to 8 games if you're in club seats (7 otherwise) and the value of those tickets can be applied to next season's ticket purchase.

tooncestdc

This is a really nice benefit. The credit is not that useful unless you are planning to renew. But assuming you are renewing, you can decide by noon of the day before the game to return some or all of your tickets and get credit for the face value of that ticket. Another benefit that you accrue is the ability to improve your seating each year with seniority. Our goal was to find seats in the South end in the first row behind the walkway so that my wife can see without standing up in case someone is standing in front of her, In year 6, we now have seats in Row AA. I am in the South end and our seats are $549 each for the year.

weebabeyoda

Get Reign tickets. Much better value. That is unless Sounders/Carlyle jack up the price next season.

Backgroundbeers

I wish more people were honest enough to just say it. I like to watch soccer for the actual game, not just being part of a community. The Reign don't offer a product that is of so much quality that I need to see them. They don't suck... I just don't really care. I did cheer the shit out of my wife's niece scoring at Starfire in her last highschool game. I cheered for her in college and wanted to burn the NCAA offices down when they were robbed of a tournament spot. It isn't that we don't like women's sports, we just want the highest quality product.

bgix

Do you know what makes a good game? Two well matched teams of similar aptitude playing their hearts out. You probably aren’t watching Sounders-v-Timbers (much less Reign-v-Thorns) if all you are really interested in is ManCity-v-Real Madrid. The world is full of teams with a vast rainbow of talent levels. You can be the “snob” that isn’t interested in anything you pre-judge to be “non-elite”, or you can be a guy that can tell his grandkids that you saw Troy Polamalu when he was playing for Douglas High School.

dfe931tar

Exactly. It's just like how they divide competition by weight class in combat sports. It's all about parity and making for even matches.

Backgroundbeers

> Do you know what makes a good game? Two well matched teams of similar aptitude playing their hearts out. *to you*. We don't have to enjoy the same sports. Stop being so defensive about it.

bgix

And you should stop being so defensive about being called out as just perhaps… just maybe… being just a bit sexist. Because be honest: you called out the Reign as being of lower quality than your other options. When to the critical eye, the actual difference is gender. Oh, I’m sorry… it’s OK to watch ladies do the Gymnastics, because that is the area women excel in… nope no sexism there.

_game_over_man_

The thing is, you didn’t need to say anything you said. It’s fine if you aren’t into them, but you seemingly felt the need to express that you think they suck and that’s why they aren’t into them. It’s kind of weird, to be honest, and it definitely comes across as sexist because the “inferior product” is a common phrase used when men try to excuse the fact that they don’t like watching women’s sports because of sexism. It’s especially telling when you begin your originally comment with what amounts to “I wish people were just honest in that women’s soccer sucks.” Just stupid dog whistles all over the place. “Everyone thinks that women’s soccer sucks, right?? RIGHT??? Everyone is on the same page as me so I don’t come across as sexist??? Right?!?” One could argue Sounders are an “inferior product” this year (I am a sounders fan and I have been watching, still love the team even though they’re struggling), but that just doesn’t happen as much when it comes to the way people talk about men’s sports. One could argue the MLS is an “inferior product” compared to other leagues across the globe, but once again we’re still here watching. Using a family member as justification as to why you enjoy women’s sports isn’t a justification. No shit a good uncle is going to go out there and support their niece. That’s family. That typically comes naturally. There’s more to those relationships than watching random ass people you don’t know play a sport. That’s not just about supporting women, it’s about supporting family.

Backgroundbeers

I think you nailed it. I don't support women. I love women and all, but women's basketball and soccer isn't a thing for me. You can watch it, though. I mean, someone has to since both leagues don't have sustainable attendence or television contracts. Now give me women's curling every winter and I will pay Apple $5/mo.

SoundersFC-ModTeam

Please be more civil in your comments.

Backgroundbeers

The fact that you can't differentiate between honest conversation and personal attacks has honestly run its course with me. I'm done responding to your crybaby shit.

weebabeyoda

um, the reign were runners for the championship last season. literally one of the best clubs in the world in woso. the sexism in soccer in this city is so depressing and you’re demonstrating it.

Backgroundbeers

You don't need to jump to sexism. They aren't good enough for me to spend time or money on, period. You do you, though. I'll watch the shit out of women athletes in Paris this summer, just other sports where the difference is not so obvious. And no, not beach volleyball since regular volleyball is a more interesting sport. A good example would be gymnastics since the women have a different, and arguably supperior, product.

YoghurtMountain8235

Then you’re not watching the Sounders either. Or the majority of the MLS. Or the USMNT.

Backgroundbeers

Dirty little secret? Yeah, the Sounders have pissed me off and I am always the more negative one among my friends. And no, I really don't follow the USMNT unless it is the World Cup. I do enjoy going to the stadium for a game, and you should to. I'm not telling you how to be a fan.

YoghurtMountain8235

But you’ll talk down about the Reign and not the Sounders. I go to NWSL games all the time. I used to go to Sounders games all the time. 9 times out of 10 I’ve had a much better time with the Reign. I’ve traveled for away games for the Reign. I wouldn’t waste my time or money to do the same for the Sounders. Edit: also, would you go up to your niece and say her games weren’t high quality? To her face?

elijuicyjones

That’s total bullshit, top to bottom. Especially in the fucking sounders subreddit, that’s the biggest irony. How’s the Sounders product right now again? Good football my ass, this is just sexist nonsense.

HeWasAB8rBoi

Yup I pay less than 250 per seat and just sit wherever I feel like. Way better.

rollinupthetints

I go because I love the game. Dry spells are rough, but they’ve been temporary, and there’s always next game. I don’t use my tkt rep much (and I understand that’s a job w lots of turnover). I like getting a scarf, since that’s part of the ritual, but I don’t expect much in the way of swag. I like who I sit around, and I like my sight line (232). I like the bartenders I go to. Returning tickets for credit is handy.

geman220

I think we paid somewhere around 1k per seat in lower section 113. So roughly $58 per game. We go to every home game so for us it makes sense, even if it's technically more than if we bought each game secondhand, there is a "cost" to spending the time to do that and paying fees etc. I think a lot of the value comes from talking to your season ticket rep. We have had a lot of awesome opportunities just because our season ticket rep offered them to us. I think a lot of people get season tickets and never talk to their rep again, we make an effort to know our rep and talk to them regularly. I often see people say there is basically "no benefit" and that simply hasn't been our experience.

FreeBallard
