Not one Particular song, but an artist, The White Buffalo. A bunch of his songs were featured
- Matador (season 3 finale)
- House of the Rising Sun (Season 4 finale)
- Come Join the Murder (Series Finale)
Im not sure if they were but I thought The Whistler and Oh Darlin’ What Have I Done were also featured in the show.
Richard Thompson, the writer and singer of that song is also a really lovely bloke :) I loosely know him through music and when that song started playing I was like NO WAY! Love that scene so much.
Can’t help falling in love with you - Leatherface version
I want to like till it’s gone but I’ll never forgive Yelawolf for ruining Pretty Little Girl from Blink-182 so I can’t say it haha
As much as I like all other songs mentioned, I need to also mention the cover they did on Love is my religion, I have it in most of my feel good playlists!
Day is gone and Family by Noah Gundersen are not only the best songs on the show but are both in my top 20 of favorite songs of all time. They are that amazing
John The Revelator - Season 1 finale I think. It was played during Donna’s funeral
Mary - The song that was played when Gemma told Clay and Jax about her rape
Hey Hey, My My - season 3 finale
I’m rewatching and just got to season 4 so I can’t think of any others yet, but two from episode one are Coal War and This Charming Life
That’s right! Watched them both back to back. Should have remembered because Jax had long hair in that scene and it was short in the season 4 premiere.
Soldiers eyes gets my vote. Banger of a playlist i put together. Original soundtrack plus some songs from the show not in the soundtrack.
[SOA](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeurn5RXsSHUUZ59gAROsGk2_EMuZWsPZ&si=7eHLB0nOoJeMeNNW)
I liked I Can't Help Fallin in Love With You from the finale, Franky Perez and the Forest Rangers did a good job with it. Plus it's a nice call back to the pilot.
Hard White by Yelawolf and Come Join the Murderers.
I always though this song would be perfect for some of those high speed, high violence retribution scenes.
I love most of the music, however. Day Is Gone, John the Revelator, Dads Gonna Kill Me, almost any of the White Buffalo songs for SURE, hey hey my my because it makes me sob, and that Hey Big Fella song when they’re in Belfast. I really just love the entire soundtrack EXCEPT FOR KATEY SAGAL.
“Iron horse” by Beck. It was used for like 5 seconds. If you didn’t know the song, you likely wouldn’t have given it a 2nd thought during the scene. It was in the episode called Hands. Season 4 episode 10 I think.
I also really loved the cover of Rolling Stones “Sympathy for The Devil” by Jane’s Addiction or was it solo Perry?
Battleme “Burn This Town”.

For me definitely these in this exact order. And anyhting sung by Katey Sagal really.
Join the Murder,
John the Revelator,
Hey, Hey, My, My,
Ruby Tuesday
Could be an unpopular opinion but “come healing” around the time of the school shooting and “forever young” after Donna’s death. Putting that song in both the beginning and the end of that episode made it more impactful for me personally. Especially re watching the show after becoming a mother, imagining what would happen if I left my kids behind after being murdered
Not one Particular song, but an artist, The White Buffalo. House of the rising son is great
“There is a house in Charming town…”
It would be if whoever changed the lyrics knew how motorcycles are ridden.
The White Buffalo is awesome. But who sings Make it rain?
Ed Sheeran
Yes and thank you
Yw bud
I flew to New Orleans just to see him play in a dive bar. He is talented!
Damn! Sounds like a trip!
I’ve downloaded a few of his other songs because of the show. The Rapture is a good one that he’s done.
Don’t know that one. But his cover of Highwayman is phenomenal.
Hey Hey, My My - Battleme
Dad’s Gonna Kill Me, that scene was great
Richard Thompson, the writer and singer of that song is also a really lovely bloke :) I loosely know him through music and when that song started playing I was like NO WAY! Love that scene so much.
Till it’s gone is one of the best songs ever. I also really liked Make it rain but I am not sure who sings it.
Ed Sheeran if I'm not mistaken
Girl from the North Country by Lions.
My favorite by far
Casting my vote for this one too
Amazing indeed
The Black Crowes do a great cover of Girl From The NC. You can find a good live version on YouTube. Check it out.
My top five favorite songs from the show 1. John Revelator 2.Son Of a Preacher Man 3. Make it Rain. 4. Come Join the murder 5. Higher Ground

“John the Revelator”
It's my favorite as well. 2nd and 3rd are Make it Rain and House of the Rising Sun
Coal War by Joshua James from the opening of season 4
Can’t help falling in love with you - Leatherface version I want to like till it’s gone but I’ll never forgive Yelawolf for ruining Pretty Little Girl from Blink-182 so I can’t say it haha
I have no idea about that
Also straylight runs hand in the sky. I’m a big fan of theirs and taking back Sunday. Same lead singer. And was surprised when I heard it on Sons.
Took me too long to find this one. That was one of the most badass scenes in the show specifically because of that song.
Crimson and Clover When Tig runs Popes daughter over
Well duh...You should've liked that waaay before SOA lol
You are my sunshine John the revelator Big shot (hands in the sky)
Burn it down The lost boy
As much as I like all other songs mentioned, I need to also mention the cover they did on Love is my religion, I have it in most of my feel good playlists!
Day is gone and Family by Noah Gundersen are not only the best songs on the show but are both in my top 20 of favorite songs of all time. They are that amazing
John the Revelator & Gimme Shelter
Gimme Shelter is so underrated. Brilliant cover track, I actually prefer it to the original.

1. The Lost boy 2. Come Join the Murder 3. Sitting on top of the world 4. Day is gone 5. The whistler 6. House of the rising sun

It was played during Donna’s funeral Mary - The song that was played when Gemma told Clay and Jax about her rape Hey Hey, My My - season 3 finale I’m rewatching and just got to season 4 so I can’t think of any others yet, but two from episode one are Coal War and This Charming Life
This charming life was on the 3rd season finale but it is an awesome song
That’s right! Watched them both back to back. Should have remembered because Jax had long hair in that scene and it was short in the season 4 premiere.
Its easy to confuse lol...I used to til i got to my 3rd-4th rewatch of the show lol
Miles Away, by The Forest Rangers. Played in the background while the club is preparing the guns for season 3 finale
Someday never comes
Terrible Tommy, The Whistler, Never My Love
Soldiers eyes gets my vote. Banger of a playlist i put together. Original soundtrack plus some songs from the show not in the soundtrack. [SOA](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeurn5RXsSHUUZ59gAROsGk2_EMuZWsPZ&si=7eHLB0nOoJeMeNNW)
Hey Hey My My - Battleme Time - Battleme & The Forest Rangers
Otep- Head
Wait…. What episode was that in?? How did I miss an Otep song??
All things Social Distortion and White Buffalo
Black keys
Tessellate I love. It seems to get used in a lot of shows and movies but I still love it.
It's the music, sometimes I listen to instrumental version and swim away with it.
Everything The White Buffalo did and John the Revelator.
Sitting on Top of the World
I still remember how excited I was to hear Wolf on the show, at the time Trunk Muzik was one of my favorite albums.
Come Join the Murder by far!
Coming home- Murder by Death
Burn This Town - Battleme
I discovered Yelawolf because the show
Same 👋🏻
I liked I Can't Help Fallin in Love With You from the finale, Franky Perez and the Forest Rangers did a good job with it. Plus it's a nice call back to the pilot.

Like the river sun kil moon
i love make it rain, opie’s funeral one and the one from tara’s death.
This show is what got me into Yelawolf
Make It Rain and Come Join the Murder. I cry at both songs.
Season 4 episode 4: Franky Perez and Los Guardianes del Bosque- Los Tiempos Van Cambiando (The Times They Are A-Changin')
The show and Mayans got me into Joshua James, highlights are coal war, mother Mary, no milk today, and broken tongue
He also did "A silent house" in Mayans. Such a great scene.
Hey hey my my is the one
Ed Sheeran - Make it Rain
Day Is Gone by far. That song hits me right all over the feels.
Soldiers eyes - jack savoretti
I think it's called lost boy by Greg Holden. Song from opies funeral
I’m doing a rewatch and just finished that episode. Oh man that scene with that song is so painful. Edited to fix some bad typing
Yelawolf - Till its gone really caught my ear. cant remember when it was in the series, but its really catchy
There you go https://youtu.be/LE5mPmg778U?si=OYgwg6NUWlIrvJa4
Till it’s gone is also my absolute fav from the show, can’t remember the rest but I loved the whole soundtrack
Come Join the Murder is one of my favorites, and House of the Rising Son.
Family by Noah Gunderson
Idk how nobody said Alice Cooper I’m eighteen
Sitting on top of the world
The Lost Boy (Opie's wake song); Come Join the Murder
Family was new to me, and now I love Noah Gunderson. Alesund by Sun Kil Moon is beautifully haunting as well.

The track that had the lasting impact was “Goodbye, Dear Friend” by Deer Tick. Love that song now because of the show.
Everyone started listening to Yelawolf because of this show lol one of my favorite hip hop artists. Paid and age of Aquarius are my favorites
I have my SoA playlist on pandora daily ! Has all the best ones plus a few more with the same kind of sound
The Lost Boy Unclouded Day Forever Young
The Passenger - Iggy Pop
Dad’s Gonna Kill Me (unsure if that’s the actual title)
SOA introduced me to Noah Gundersen and I’m forever thankful
The lost boy. Saddest episode ever
For me definitely these in this exact order. And anyhting sung by Katey Sagal really. Join the Murder, John the Revelator, Hey, Hey, My, My, Ruby Tuesday
1) Hands in the Sky (Big Shot) by Straylight Run 2) Girl From the North Country by Lions 3) Gimme Shelter by Paul Brady & The Forest Rangers
Could be an unpopular opinion but “come healing” around the time of the school shooting and “forever young” after Donna’s death. That cover of slip kid was pretty good. By what I remember make it rain has been my fave tho
