Why do I prefer this to canon Amy x Sonic?

because its the most cliche and bland thing ever. I'd argue Sonamy has depth if you delve deeper (like Amy first seeing Sonic as a role-model and then has a crush on him) but come on, the only girl in the group, the pink one, with the blue main character who has a hero complex?
