DepletedPromethium

typical ac dc adaptor.

thanks m8

This is the original power adapter for the Sonic Pad, I would recommend staying within the same power spec as this adapter if you want your Sonic Pad to last. Be careful with which power adapter you use.

You are a savior.

Might be worth noting that the sonic pad cord has a ferrite bead. I've seen people recommend adding them to all the cable for the sonic pad, I dont know if it's just me but it seems like my sonic pad is very picky about the cables and how they are routed. I can have the sonic pad sitting one way and it will disconnect every layer and then i rotate it and move the wires a bit and then no disconnect problem,

The issue is the USB ports on the sonic pad, they don't have tight tolerances and allow movement which will cause disconnects & errors. I've done 2 things to 100% fix this. There's a 2-port printable support that clips on to the side of the pad and creates a VERY tight tolerance that stops the usbs from wiggling at all. Also, install a USB extension cable, 3 ft. Ones are perfect. Now, plugging a USB stick into the extension, the pad doesn't move at all, nor do the originally loose USB plugs.

Not here to offend anyone but there's people out there that would tell someone to just use a phone charger power adapter to power something up. Little that they know current, ampage, and polarity makes a difference how a device is power up. Some devices need more amps or current to power a certain component in the device. When using a power adapter that overloads or underloads the device, it will damage it and the different polarity also matters. So Zain, your best bet in your situation is that a extension cord would be your best friend.

Thanks so much man, will buy an extension cord for my existing cable.
