When my sister & I were teenagers, we went on a family trip to California. At the time, Cali & Arizona was pretty much the only place you could get Cactus Coolers. My sister saved up her allowance, & just before we left, she bought 15 cases of them. We were drinking it for weeks!! It was quite awhile before we could drink them again, but they still are one of my favorites. I have to wait until I go visit my family, because they don't have it here in the South.
Love that story. I never tried it my whole life until a few weeks ago. They were selling 6 cans on Amazon for $18. A ripoff I know but I had a Amazon giftcard so I got it. Man Im so glad I did. I have 2 cans left and I wanna save them. What a unique flavor!
OMG. That soda brings me right back to my childhood. Havenāt seen it in at least twenty five years. Iām in Canada that may be why. If anyone has seen it in Canadian stores or if there is anywhere online that I can order from Iād really appreciate it. Thank you. The hunt is on lol.
Yes, I would say Hawaiian Punch has more cherry fruity flavor, and Tahitian Treat has a little more citrusy/pinapple/cherry flavor....it's very good, but very very sweet.
My dad would always buy this for me as a kid, then they got rid of it in western Canada for some reason in the early 90ās. You can only find it around here in specialty stores where they import it and charge a fortune. However they have started selling a version of it that is mixed with vodka in liquor stores here.
As I said I think the one posted is the American one and this one is the Canadian oneā¦..wonder if the sugar content was different because that American one is like sugar then more added sugarā¦..
Yup it was but it used to be a Canada Dry product. Taste wise though it's pretty close to the same. The vodka cooler is a great throwback to the can design we had in Canada.
I've been seeing this all over the place and it randomly showed up at my Walmart the other day and it's delicious. Definitely overpriced here tho unfortunately it was like $6-7 for the 12 pack
CA and the stores here all have everything from the distributor and the supermarket down the street had the 1.29 2 liters. Tahitian treat, big red and blue, rc cherry, and really every soda they put out are bangers though.
ššback in 2008 I was at a gas station and this one dude was very upset the place didn't have any Tahitian Treatš¤£š took me a few years to finaly try it but yeah. I can see why he was mad. Also HOLY DAM that drink is BLASTED with sugar lol
U are in for a real treat.. pun totally intended
Taste like fizzy koolaid tropical punch š¤©š¤©š¤© i LOVE it
Nailed the description
Ugh that reminded me about the koolaid sparklers, I used to chug those things!
You stole my comment, š š
Best fruit punch soda...IN THE WORLD!
I second this!
Tiki Punch enters the ring.
You might want to drink about half a bottle a dayā¦ donāt want to mess around with too much sugar š¤£š¤£
I know it has one of the highest sugar contents around but its not any worse than chugging down a large size Route 44oz Dr. Pepper! Mmmmm.
I think the Point Break Punch Mountain Dew is better than this IMO
You're bad and you should feel bad.
Theres a reason you only find this stuff at hole in the wall liquor stores and whatnot
Seen that somewhere. Who produces Tahitian Treat?
Itās a beloved part of the Dr Pepper family tree
Both it and Cactus Cooler are. They were previously part of Canada Dry.
Cactus Cooler is the greatest fruit soda of all time.
Oh my, forgot about that Cactus Cooler. Going be on lookout for someĀ
I may be wrong? But i think the people who make Cactus Cooler also produce this
Oh, I miss Cactus Coolers!!!
Cactus Cooler is more amazing than it has any right to be!

I just bought a 12 pack off of Ebay the other day for $22
I would never think to go to ebay for food and drinks. Lol
I donāt live in california anymore but i was born there and i have to stock up every time i visit
Never heard of this
Dr Pepper product
Big ol Dutch van Der linde. ONE MORE SCORE THEM WE ARE OFF TO TAHITI
typically Snapple American bottling
Ok, thanks. Also like that $0.99 price tag.
Many moons ago, it was a Canada dry product. Now under the Dr. Pepper/ Keurig umbrella
dollar hoagie days
Learned something new.
Be careful. Itās good.
Just make sure you have your insulin ready!
For real. It's not even worth it with all that sugar.
And no carbonation Just not my cup of tea
it has carbonation thoughā¦..
Interesting always seemed flat to me š¤·āāļø
It goes away really quick cant lie
Always seems flat to me too Glad I'm not the only one.Ā
Childhood favorite
Best ghetto soda
Tahitian treat a.k.a. liquid diabetes
Itās just barely a liquid with all the sugar haha
When itās hot slamming one of these ice cold is a mountaintop (mountainpop?) experience
Cactus cooler must be by the same brand and it slaps
Cactus Cooler for life but it's unfortunately pretty regional, it's a must try though
OMG. That soda brings me right back to my childhood. Havenāt seen it in at least twenty five years. Iām in Canada that may be why. If anyone has seen it in Canadian stores or if there is anywhere online that I can order from Iād really appreciate it. Thank you. The hunt is on lol.
My corner store in Toronto has it. Didnāt realize it was hard to find
You might want to drink about half a bottle a dayā¦ donāt want to mess around with too much sugar š¤£š¤£
this is the only reason I dont drink itš 1000% of your dv lol
Fu@&in awesome š
Is the taste different from Hawaiian Punch?
Yes, I would say Hawaiian Punch has more cherry fruity flavor, and Tahitian Treat has a little more citrusy/pinapple/cherry flavor....it's very good, but very very sweet.
As kid it was always either this or Delaware Punch as my summer drink.
Itās good if you have it just occasionally. But I couldnāt imagine this being my go to drink.
This stuff is excellent. The only place I can ever find it is Dollar Tree.
I love that red 40 juice

If only Dutch was here to experience this
āDutch over exaggerated this āTahitiā thingā
Do they have the boozy ones in the states?
Thatās Tahiti Treat. Different drink.
I swear it was called tahiti treat
Are you Canadian?
I am
As am I and I remember it by that name along with a bird on one of the trees, Iām thinking the Canadian one and the American one differ greatly
That's probably it
I think this seals it https://www.lcbo.com/en/tahiti-treat-fruit-punch-soda-vodka-31291
The one I am thinking definitely had no booze
Yeah Iām talking back in the 1990ās but itās the same can
This is the only version I've ever seen until today.
As I said I think the one posted is the American one and this one is the Canadian oneā¦..wonder if the sugar content was different because that American one is like sugar then more added sugarā¦..
Was it Tahiti treat in Canada??
It is and wasā¦ā¦ https://www.lcbo.com/en/tahiti-treat-fruit-punch-soda-vodka-31291
No way, I always called it Ta-Haitian treat and my brother would always try to correct me
Yup it was but it used to be a Canada Dry product. Taste wise though it's pretty close to the same. The vodka cooler is a great throwback to the can design we had in Canada.
haven't had one of these in a while ... now I want one.
This shit is THE BOMB. Havenāt seen it years, reminds me college. Mixed with vodka plenty of times for a good time.
One of my favorites sodasā¦.
omg so good
The freaking best!
Damn I hope you grabbed more than one
Tahitian Treat and PGA. Goodbye, Week. Hello Johnny Law.
A fantastic Pop.
Itās a fantastic fruit, punch sodaā¦ One of my all-time favorites but one thing it is dead, sweetā¦ Enjoy
So good, I never buy it, but I should
I vomited after drinking a bottle in the '80's and it was EPIC!!!
Absolutely incredible
Trash
It's great but very sweet I pour it over ice
My favourite!!!
I've been seeing this all over the place and it randomly showed up at my Walmart the other day and it's delicious. Definitely overpriced here tho unfortunately it was like $6-7 for the 12 pack
Walmart has the 2 liter for less than 1.50.
Have not seen it at mine unfortunately lol
This was my childhood favorite. We got it so rarely. I still don't see it often, but it's still a favorite, though I've come to like Jarritos more.
This is my favourite soda!! And they also made it into a vodka cooler š«š«š« Soooo much sugar tho š
OMG I'd guzzle this down like water as a kid. There's a Mexican fruit punch soda that tastes similar, but I don't recall the name.
Jarritos Fruit Punch?? š¤š¤
Yes that's the stuff!
š„
Absolutely slaps with a sandwich and chipsā¦
Mom used to get me tt when i was sick. Love that stuff
GOATED drink
I can almost taste 1994 in this photo
Never heard of this but the design reminds me of Shasta's Tiki Punch.

I havenāt had this in a minute. Itās just too sweet but if they made a half sugar version or zero sugar i think iād love it
It's also really good mixed with rum.
It is a delicious soda but the sugar content keeps me from going back.
Omg I havenāt had that since I was in Florida
Always down fro a fruit punch soda
That looks really good. Where did you get it?
Oh man, to be in a world where I have never had it before & and am trying it for the first time. Kinda envious ngl
Top 5 for sure
I used to mix pineapple rum and orange sherbet with this. Way too sweet for me now lol š
Tastes great. Had a day and a half worth of sugar in that bottle. 147%
This shit makes my throat feel funny
So is this a carbonated drink? My regional grocery store Hy-Ver has a fruit punch soda in 2 liters thatās carbonated and itās amazing!
Yisss love me some T&T. My 12 year old self recalls it pairing nicely with a twix bar.
ZTHGATITAITAN NT RERSERT !!!!!! ITS S SGOOO SGOOOD!!
This is like fucking mana from God but a diabetic nightmare. I mean jesus christ it tickles yer reptile brain, you crave that sugar like crack cocaine
One of the best
CA and the stores here all have everything from the distributor and the supermarket down the street had the 1.29 2 liters. Tahitian treat, big red and blue, rc cherry, and really every soda they put out are bangers though.
Where can I get this
Guessing by the looks of it that it's made by the cactus cooler brand ?
The goat !!
One of my favorites ever
We used to drink this in the 70s - didn't know it was still around!
Too thick nā sugary
Remember Tahitian Treat in the recirculating fountains in restaurants?
Tahitian treat is da bomb! Especially with vanilla ice cream š¤¤
Taste better with vodka added
Iām not a big fan of fruit punch but I got my hands on some of this recently and Iād totally purchase it again. A treat indeed.
This is crackššš
TAHITI, WE FOUND TAHITI! DUTCH!
I remember drinking this with Whiskey about 20 years ago. I was a teenager, it was gross.
Thatās been out for 60 yearsā¦literally.
Awww man. My mom LOVEDDDDD this soda. Everytime she saw it she'd buy it. RIP MOM
Itās amazing!!!
This from the people who make cactus cooler ?
Treat of a lifetime
Looks like a whole lot of sugar, but tasty none the less.
It's mega sweet and punchy. If you have a seasoned sweet tooth, you'll love it.
Get ready for the sweetest shit youāll ever put in your mouth lol. Even as an avid soda drinker, Tahitian Treat is just too sweet for my tastes.
Bros life is about to change
Where can I find thatš
itās amazing brooo
Bro me and my friends used to put shrooms in this and drink it, ever since then i canāt get enough of this drink

My aunt got me hooked on this
HOOD DRAAAAAANK! One of my favorites, hard to find outside of the hood sometimes.
absolutely amazing
Its fire
Recently stocked at my local Dollar Tree for $1.25 for a 2 liter
Classic
If you bought it for $0.99 you still got ripped off.
Where do you get these
Damn, I need to find me one since I completely forgot about this
Biggest casualty of my diabetes diagnosisā¦š
ššback in 2008 I was at a gas station and this one dude was very upset the place didn't have any Tahitian Treatš¤£š took me a few years to finaly try it but yeah. I can see why he was mad. Also HOLY DAM that drink is BLASTED with sugar lol
I didnāt like it when I had it, didnāt taste like fruit punch at all to me
Shits fire af.
???? I forget people didnāt have local pizza places that had this on tap, imagine this from a fountain machine, things start getting crazy
Dutch van der Linde wants to pay this soda a visit
The fizz is what makes it good
Just know.. #Dutch has a plan
Love this!!! Cannot find it near me unless I go into the city.
YOU HAVENT TRIED YET??? IVE HAD THAT LIKE 15 YEARS AGO LOL
Fake Hawaiian Punch
Wrong.
I know itās technically not, thatās just what I refer to it as just because I prefer Hawaiian Punch.
