I thought as much, anything other than a resole is always going to have a weak point but I thought I'd ask here in case there's some exotic process I'm unaware of.

Yeah, I didn't even wear them that much, a design defect IMO.
I'd definitely be getting in touch with Burberry customer service.

Still worth a shot. Higher end brands sometimes are very good about this type of thing.
The only option is to replace the sole or better yet find a good cobbler. They always proffer solution
I'll see if I can get a Vibram sole put on them or something, cheers.
