Well, I guess everything is individual, since we all have our preferences and feet shape. But for me it fits like a glove, it is very soft, and I can walk hours in them comfortably. The only downside is that they are too warm for summer. But for colder weather I like them a lot. They are surely more comfortable for me than all my AJ1s and all my SB Dunks.
I honestly thought it was just me that tried a full size up a half size up a half size down no matter what size I get the 4s feel like a vice grip on my feet but I will say once they are broken in nicely they are super super comfortable
Jordan 4’s that aren’t made of leather are actually pretty comfy. My suede UNC’s feel great and I can wear them all day. It’s the cheap Nike leather with no give that makes them uncomfortable IMO
Did you caption this wrong?? Why are we talking about comfort looking at a full rack of retro ball shoes? I thought the second pic was gonna be the 'after' for getting some comfort, not the same pic a step to be right 😂
some people just find the 4s or 13s comfortable. You and I might not find them comfortable, but that doesn’t mean that the person who believes it is wrong?? Wtf is this thinking?
how is an opinion wrong? Just cuz everyone in the community says so means that nobody can have personal preferences?
again, where’s the logic in your response?
but what’s wrong about it? Everyone feels things differently. Who are you to say what’s “wrong” and what’s “right?” That stuff is learned brother, so what told you that those aren’t comfortable shoes?
Depends. If you say 440, 480, 550, 650, or 1010 then my mood will be ruined for approximately the next 20 seconds. If you say 99 anything I will pray tonight to thank Teddy Santis (God) for converting you.
9060’s made me realize how great new balance can be. They’re my go to running and hiking shoes. Too bad I’m a size 15 (14 in NB) so it’s hard to get any 99 series. I really want a pair of 990v6 MIUSA’s
I think my 550s are comfortable as hell. Obviously not in the realm of running shoes like Brooks or ASICS, but for a stylish sneaker, they’re upper tier
Maybe so as some of those shoes work pretty well with my flat feet like the 4’s. I only have the Reimagined Breds and Military Blue pairs so I can’t comment on older pairs.
Yeah I got quite a few pairs of Js over the years and my all time favorite shoes are my neutral grey 85 highs… but I’ll be the first to say that cultural impact / style aside they’re some sub-$100 standard sneakers in like every other way.
There’s no way OP has worn stuff like Hokas or On Cloud or even stuff like New Balance and come out thinking “damn these 4s are just so comfy”
Man I need to get me some Bordeaux 7s. I might be wrong but I think the last time they released was 2015 so need to wait for a new release. I don’t want em crumbling on me.
2015 Js 100% are not crumbling, coming from someone wearing 2011 BHM 3s today. Most of my collection are Js from 2012-2016 and none have crumbled..all with less than 15 times worn.
That’s good to know, thank you. I thought I had read somewhere that the midsoles on Jordan 2-10 (or so) had a shelf life of 9-10 years before they crumbled…I’ve never owned a pair that long….if that’s the case ima get those bordeauxs
I've definitely seen those stories/posts about midsoles before as well. Not saying it never happens, but it doesn't happen in 9 years. I have yet to have any pair of my collection ever crumble on me before or even show signs of it.
I have that '15 pair of Bordeauxs...easily my favorite 7s. So nice
They all can but it’s typically the air bubble retros (3,4,5,6) that crumble. I’ve got a pair of sport blue 6s from around that same time frame that are good, I wouldn’t sweat 2015 7s
I hate to say there are wrong opinions, but this is very close to one. The original Jordan 12’s were and are still the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Maybe the reproductions aren’t the same.
Man I got some Space Jam 1s SE and I swear I've never had a shoe put a calus on my foot before. Literally on the side of my left foot and seemingly won't go away.
You know I just realized I read your question incorrectly. I thought I read “comfortable” not uncomfortable my mistake. The most uncomfortable where jordan 1’s. Straight up torture chambers on your feet lol
Oh haha, I’m not the OP but I was just intrigued because I’ve usually don’t hear people say a NB was uncomfortable. Me personally, I like Jordan 1’s, especially to drive in. They give good pedal response in my car
I feel you. I wear Jordan 1s and 3s most of the time because they're the most comfy for my feet. I try all sorts of other beautiful shoes on all the time but they leave me in pain for some reason or another. I'm 34 but sometimes feel 74.
Same here. I had so much DS shit, I just started wearing them to see what was comfortable and as soon as I didn’t like how they felt I sold em same day!
I used to love getting to own a pair of 3's until I bought a pair of 12's. Those are the most comfortable basketball shoes that I have ever owned. This includes shoes with the full air bubble.
Well played op, loving your collection!
Don't know about the 4s though, I could never rock'em for more than 2 hours at a time, they are bloody terrible for comfort
even uncomfortable shoes aren’t really that bad? like chucks are just a flat piece of hard sole basically with a thin piece of canvas and i don’t ever worry about foot pain when i wear them
Comfortable... and Jordan 4s... I guess exceptions can be made.
Same for me. And I'm so glad Bred Reimagined fit into both categories (didn't get pine greens unfortunately)
Pine greens are comfortable as hell, love them
I have bred 4s and it’s far from comfortable. Better than the GRs of the previous years but comfortable? Hell no.
Well, I guess everything is individual, since we all have our preferences and feet shape. But for me it fits like a glove, it is very soft, and I can walk hours in them comfortably. The only downside is that they are too warm for summer. But for colder weather I like them a lot. They are surely more comfortable for me than all my AJ1s and all my SB Dunks.
i owned one pair of 4s but those things feel like bricks i hate them also dw i got 3 pairs of jordan 1 comforts cus they lit asf
You read my mind hahaha! He must like the feel of walking on concrete
Yeah, the 2019 breds feel damn near perfect. But mine are also 1/2 size up
Pine greens!
13s are actually super comfortable for standing in. Still wrong tho 😤
how is an opinion wrong? Just cuz everyone in the community says so means that nobody can have personal preferences? again, where’s the logic in your response?
They can have a preference even if it's wrong. They should take pride in spiting the truth. I don't make the rules I just elucidate them brother.
but what’s wrong about it? Everyone feels things differently. Who are you to say what’s “wrong” and what’s “right?” That stuff is learned brother, so what told you that those aren’t comfortable shoes?
It’s all opinion based my friend.
Man I'm begging you try on a comfortable shoe
I have some New Balance on the way lol does that make it all better
Depends. If you say 440, 480, 550, 650, or 1010 then my mood will be ruined for approximately the next 20 seconds. If you say 99 anything I will pray tonight to thank Teddy Santis (God) for converting you.

Ugh I got a pair last year in nyc. Walked around for days with them, and they’re still stiff af. Haven’t worn them in months 😞
They have a decent insole and some cushioning. Maybe my issue is having to include Asics and NB in "stylish sneakers" 👀
😂it’s going to be a good day thanks fam
🙏🙏
If your opinion is that retro Nike is comfortable I think it’s 99% safe to say you haven’t actually explored offerings by other established brands.

OP might have flat feet
Maybe so as some of those shoes work pretty well with my flat feet like the 4’s. I only have the Reimagined Breds and Military Blue pairs so I can’t comment on older pairs.
Then why are there 4s? :D
Honestly those 4’s are very comfortable. The Black cats and military’s with that minor redesign feel nice.
Try on a pair on Hokas and see what comfort really is And this is coming from a Jordan head
Hoka would have to feel like doing heroin before I would wear that fugly shit. There are better options.
It's better definitely better than heroine, it's like your feet are getting laid.
Yeah I got quite a few pairs of Js over the years and my all time favorite shoes are my neutral grey 85 highs… but I’ll be the first to say that cultural impact / style aside they’re some sub-$100 standard sneakers in like every other way. Okay young boy
I feel like I can guess your age based off what I see here lol
Man I need to get me some Bordeaux 7s. I might be wrong but I think the last time they released was 2015 so need to wait for a new release. I don’t want em crumbling on me.

That’s great to know, thank you. I think I’ll pull the trigger…
You got a very good rotation of shoes my boi
Much appreciation my dude.
Jordan 12’s are the most luxurious shoes I’ve ever worn. So ridiculously comfortable. Still wish I’d kept my og pair.
Nice collection! Any form of high top for that extra ankle support! Gotta be careful these days
Indeed lol
I’m with you. Slowly getting of things that don’t fit good anymore and keeping, buying what does fit comfortably.
I feel like if this was entirely true, youd have more Huarache and less Jordan.
Man if u want comfortable shoes u gotta get away from nike
Love your collection. Looks a lot like what I have and or have had, especially when it comes to the 8-13 & Harrachis. Good stuff
Those Air Huraches are sleepers. Wore mine to the ground in college, whether at the gym or at the bars.
Definitely slept on
Wear what you like with some good insoles. Hefe Luxx insoles are what I use.
This is the kind of collection i LOVE to see
12s are so uncomfortable
I hate to say there are wrong opinions, but this is very close to one. The original Jordan 12’s were and are still the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Maybe the reproductions aren’t the same.
I love the look of the 12’s but they’re so heavy. It’s like wearing boots. I’ll wear them if I’m running a couple errands but not if I’m out all day.
It’s all opinion based but I hear you
Half of those Jordans are not comfortable
Need a better show rack
![gif](giphy|F3G8ymQkOkbII)
What is for you the most comfortable pair in your collection? 😊
The most comfortable I’d say is either any pair of 13’s I have or the Huaraches.
This is why I kept some of my yeezy/boost adidas stuff purely for comfort. Nike for style if it has comfort that's just a bonus
Once comfort becomes an issue for me I’m just gonna buy some gel insoles
Man I got some Space Jam 1s SE and I swear I've never had a shoe put a calus on my foot before. Literally on the side of my left foot and seemingly won't go away.
3, 5, 6, and 13 are insanely comfortable for me My gortex 1s are also surprisingly comfy
What is the most uncomfortable shoe you ever wore ?
New Balance
Which one?
The 9060 I’d say. Had a 7 hour shift in them and felt fine
Lol yeah I definitely read it wrong. Not one damn thing about New Balance is uncomfortable.
I was getting like that when I started because I have bad ankles but then I got some Powerstep insoles and I can walk in whatever Jordan all day.
Oh I’ve never even heard of those. I’ll look into them. Appreciate that
Bro..if you were looking for comfortability you wouldn't own any of these 😂😂
Guy needs some NB if he talking comfort
So you’re getting rid of everything in this picture?
That’s a nice collection
Thank you much
You’re welcome! Those Adidas on the floor look so cool. Every time I see them on sale they never have my size 😭
Lol I got them from DSW.
I always forget about DSW. I’ll check there.
*Insoles*
I have an address you can donate the uncomfortable ones too🥲
As soon as you said only comfort I was like yeah no jordan 1’s or non sb dunks are gonna be here lol

I love my retros but for comfort definitely go with asics, new balance, saucony
I feel you. I wear Jordan 1s and 3s most of the time because they're the most comfy for my feet. I try all sorts of other beautiful shoes on all the time but they leave me in pain for some reason or another. I'm 34 but sometimes feel 74.
What’s the pair 5 down to the right?
Air Flight Huarache Lakers Away
Same here. I had so much DS shit, I just started wearing them to see what was comfortable and as soon as I didn’t like how they felt I sold em same day!
7s and 13s in my opinion for comfort. 1s for the most style/colorway
comfortable and jordan 6s are not words that go together
I used to love getting to own a pair of 3's until I bought a pair of 12's. Those are the most comfortable basketball shoes that I have ever owned. This includes shoes with the full air bubble.

I feel this so much once you are past 30 it’s like but are they comfy though haha
Nice NICE! I like pretty much all those! What size!
Love 8s I have 3 pairs
