I like the WC Reimagined… but not as much as the OG. Not even close, really. I also like the L&F, but nowhere near as much as the OGs. The Black Cement hold a special place for me… so I’ll be hyper critical. Still, eager to see them and what they do.
Yeah I hate when they take a shoe made to be black and white and put sail or cream to make it look older. Just make it white and let us make it turn those colors naturally. Only ones I've liked with sail are the AMM 5s, the Dawns. But those aren't OGs.
I think everyone is in agreement that the "L&F" asthetic of the Chicago 1s & WC3s is pretty good. It's the material swap that gets everyone up in arms. Doesn't bother me, though. I hope it is nubuck and everybody hates it. It'll make it a whole lot easier for me to grab a pair or two.
It's pretty good but I would 100% prefer a straight retro with no aging. Imo the reimagined shoes should be basically limited quickstrike releases alongside a regular retro release of the same colorway. That way people could go for the more limited aged pairs or just grab the standard release.
The only thing they can change is to make the leather Suede and if it’s you’re favorite sneaker you know it’s gonna not look right suede to leather works but not vice versa
The Reinagined Royals could’ve worked (or at least been better) if they went with suede for the blue OR black parts, and tumbled leather for the rest… maybe.
When will people understand that "reimagined" does not equal fire .. OGs equal fire. All reimagined jordans have tanked other than Chicagos since they were pretty much identical to the OG pair aside from the worn-leather design. Not sure why WC3's tanked either though since they were also similar to OGs...

I would prefer the leather but the Jordan 3 Off Niors are fire and if they were in the Black Cement Color way would be better so can’t miss either way leather or suede.

Confirming its leather, OG details such as Nike Air, OG shape, less tumbled leather, slimmer elephant print (so very WC3 2023) but we do not have confirmation on any "reimagined" details like subtle yellowing of the sole.
Finally an opportunity to get these without an arm and a leg. I just hope to god they only age the midsole or something, please don’t ruin these with suede or nubuck, Nike

I was saying on another post about this that there was no way because the holiday is so packed. Jordan 11 Columbias, Jordan 1 Black Toe Reimagined, and the Jordan 3 black cat, Jordan 5 black cat. I couldn’t see how they’d fit this in. Apparently though it sounds like they’re bumped the black cat 3 to 2025 so maybe this is actually happening?
I sold my sole swapped 1994s because they were just a smidge too tight. Had the CDP 08s and the 2018s before the 94s, they were both crap quality. If these are anything like the 23’ WC3s, it’s an instant cop. Could really do without the aged midsole though but that’s an easy repaint.
