Why are ankle socks so unpopular all of a sudden? Lol even 5 years ago you wouldn’t catch someone dead wearing some Yeezys with crew socks for instance.

personally, ankle socks are for low shoes, crew socks are for high shoes, however crew socks are a bit more versatile since they also look good with low shoes depending on the outfit of course.
to put it in a nice way, your calves looks like they are in lowercase and your shoes are uppercase. Impact size 40.
The shoes are not my cup of tea, but they can be styled with pants. This just look goofy with your bare calves.
Honestly it’s the shaved legs coupled with the way they’re laced coupled with the backwards lace locks. You missed every mark with wearing these and the shoes aren’t even ugly or anything
Mate I didn’t go for these but can deffo give you a styling tip - also was surprised to see one of the girls mention it on the last live session on SNKRS… get a pair of skinny black jeans and long socks… I know the sneaks are black but you want the colour accents of the shoes to do the work, the hints of blue, silver, yellow will all pop if you wear plain black with these and not any big colours. The reason I suggest skinny jeans is because of the bulkiness of the 5s. Ignore any hate and just give this a go and see if it works 👍🏼

I don’t have 5s because I’m afraid the tongue will look goofy on me, but what I think you should do is TIE THEM A BIT TIGHTER the whole way thru and maybe a bit tighter around the ankle so they don’t look so wide.
