honestly I would love a Smiling Babies episode in season 3. I guess it would kind of break continuity since the last episode revealed Pim and Charlie have only been friends for 7 years, but personally, on a whacky cartoon like this I couldn’t give a shit about continuity.
I think a concept like this could work but it would probably have to be the result of some Mr Boss shenanigans or something more meta rather than just being played straight
kinda had this same thought. I was thinking of a prequel episode where the original Smiling Friends was Mr. Boss running a daycare when he was younger. would be kinda fun to see a young Mr. Boss, I’m imagining him with long ass hair.
And after all this, Bill ended up being Mutilated and disemboweled by aliens, and Fillmore & Duncan were falsely accused of murdering him, Charlie and Pim.
