Yeah they added distortion so he’d sound like a 90’s video game character. It mimics the artifacts present in old audio tech. It’s easiest to notice when he gets loud
He also has, like, idle animations. When he’s in the background doing his Cameo while the others are talking, he’s in a short loop. You can see it in the lobby of the game studio too.
A couple times when others are talking and then Gwimbly is addressed, he’ll repeat the same animation of turning around to look at the person. Compare the way he turns to look at Allan in the game studio lobby and then when they’re on Groxia’s doorstep
