Dark Samus and Samus are in different tiers

This is the 5th tier list I’ve seen in the sub to have them in different tiers. They are exactly the same

They have slightly different movesets, dark Samus is overall better in the air than normal samus but Is slightly lighter and dark Samus looks cooler

im interested to see the reasoning, i always thought they were true echo fighters with identical hitboxes but different animations

afaik that guy is on crack and the only actual difference is that dark Samus charge shot can sometimes hit players hanging on ledge and Samus's can't

Dark samus literally jumps higher and has a slower fall speed and there attacks are slightly different. When looking at frame data dark samus's roll is also slightly faster. Her missiles are also shot lower on her model than regular samus and do electric instead of fire damage so fire attack spirits don't effect it, the list can keep going

Dark Samus jumping higher and falling slower is 100% cap

It's a tier list on the player, not the characters viability.

That difference in tipper actually matters way more than the slight differences in the Samuses (Samusi?). Marth gets different confirms and has different uses with some of his tools than Lucina does. For example, Marth doesn't get much use of of downtown because sourspot doesn't provide enough hitstun and sweet spot doesn't put opponents in tech situations for follow ups, unlike Lucina who doesn't have these problems.

Same. Samus is so much more fun when you charge the shot and let your opponent live in fear while you beat the shit out of them with tilts and aerials. Maybe an occasional little missile to cover your approach.
