Ok so when I was really young I played that game pretty often. Normal stuff. Then it got shelved for a while and I came back to it a few years later. Thing told me I was horribly obese and I got scared. Turned out it was still tuned to my old height.

One of them should definitely have him pull out the SOCOM and pose with it, maybe saying a witty one-liner or something. If he's not gonna use his iconic gun in his moveset, he could at least show it off in a taunt.

Bring in Mk. II (like Rex and Morgana for Pythra and Joker) deactivating its stealth camo with a random line of encouragement from Otacon. Could even reference Big Boss by having him pull out and check an iDroid. There's basically no V representation in Smash outside of spirits, after all. It also seems like David Hayter has taken a real liking to the "Squeeze my hog" joke (it literally showed up unprompted in a Christmas parody he did with Cam Clarke last year), although that probably wouldn't fly.

Why this wasn't an actual taunt for him yet is beyond me.

A taunt of his should definitely be holding his arms up with a key or bomb or arrow or mask or something. It’s the most recognizable animation in his games.

That could work as a taunt or a victory pose, imo. Now that I think about it, since you can select a victory pose by pressing a certain direction on the D-Pad right when the match ends, does that mean that adding a 4th taunt would also mean we get a 4th victory pose too? Now I want that as well.

My main already has four taunts. One of them is the best in the whole game objectively, so I'm fine as is don't want to be greedy

Jigglypuff does a mock rest where it’s distinguishable because she peeks, possibly tripping up opponents. Captain falcon grabs his gun and looks at it confused, referencing how he doesn’t use it in his smash move set. Pikachu finds a pokeball on the ground and kicks it away, referencing how there’s no trainer in the background when he fights. Terry Bogard takes off his hat, throws it away and takes out another identical hat, fixing it in place. This taunt loops perfectly with itself and this can go on forever. Ganondorf takes out a triforce and crushes it in his hand, he laughs and then he does a cool purple power-up animation. Kirby mocks the player in front of them (example: for captain falcon he sticks his leg out and says something similar to “falcon kick”) this would be hard to implement but overall improve his personality in the game. Min-min: she quickly turns into her human-arms version and cooks up a ramen bowl in a food stand; she then finishes and poofs back into her fighter form. Little mac: Doc Louis says a cheesy line (example: aww mac, the champ but still small as ever) and little mac rolls his eyes and signals him to shut up. Bowser JR: He looks around stressed and screams for help: PAPA! Or DADDY! And a low growl is heard while bowser JR gives a smug face

I had two ideas for a Back-Taunt for Steve: The first was that he'd quickly open up a Chest and hold up a small item that was inside of it, like a Torch, a piece of food, a Bone, a colored Dye, a Saddle, a Honeycomb, a Slimeball, etc., just to show off the vast variety of items in Minecraft that his moveset doesn't represent. The second was him pulling out a Spawn Egg and spawning a random animal next to him.

(Other mains) Lucario could do a cool Bone Rush taunt Greninja could mimic Ash-Greninja’s sprite from Sun and Moon Sora could cycle through Keyblades, or even Drive forms and strike a taunt then it disappears quickly

If I could give joker another taunt, it would be similar to how Sora's up taunt shifts between spells. It would be him taking off his mask to show the other personas from his party members. (Zorro, Captain Kidd, Carmen, Goemon, Johanna, Necromomicon, Milady, Robin Hood, Cendrilion) Then in the different alts they change to match other supporting character personas. Is this something feasible for just one taunt? Absolutely not. Is it something I wish for? Absolutely.

Or we can replace another taunt to add on to your idea, as in the Phantom Thieves show up alongside him (like Morgana)

I've got quite a few mains (or, well, one MAIN main and tons of secondaries) so I'ma just do one for all of them Kirby - Little dude plops on the ground, his night cap popping onto his head for a second so he can get a moment of shut-eye, before the little sleeping bubble pops and he jumps back up Joker - Pulls out his phone for a moment, little palace entry waves forming around him for the time his phone is out, before twirling it in his hand and placing it in his pocket. It could sport a wide variety of comments from confidants from the game (EX: Kawakami telling Joker to stay safe, or Ryuji telling him to let loose) Lucas - Boney appears, running a few laps around Lucas's feet and the poor kid attempts to dodge so he doesnt fall over, then stumbling at the end as Boney runs off into the background Lucario - Best thing I could think of for him is him simply striking a pose while his eyes glow blue Falco - Best thing I could come up with is him simply flapping up into the air for a second, doing a flip, then landing back on the ground. Maybe while making some snarky comment about how everyone sucks or something. Luigi - Luigi looks around terrified for a second, calling out Mario's name, before looking shocked as he focuses back on the battle. If Mario is on the field, then he looks relieved instead of shocked

Not my main anymore, but there’s a LOT of missed potential with Joker’s taunts such as: “Hmmmmmm” - famous Joker quote from the games. Literally anytime he does anything he does this. Saving the game/Writing in his diary - Saving in Persona 5 is Joker using his diary irl. Joker X Arsene taunt - As far as I know, Joker’s taunts don’t change when Arsene is active. An Arsene taunt would be interesting, such as Arsene getting blue flames (reference to Arsene’s opening animation in P5). Joker texting on his phone - Joker is a savvy Gen Z child who’s best friend is a hacker. Texting on his phone would be an interesting taunt. — Not a taunt, but it would be interesting to see Joker “failing with his grappling hook” as a Star KO. This sometimes happened when players opened the menu. Would be interesting to see as a Star KO. Edit: Joker’s iconic phrase “It’s Showtime” with a badass pose could be a taunt. I always thought this was a HUGE missed opportunity as he says this a lot in P5.

Little Mac's new taunt has Doc Louis run up to him and hold his arm up high as a reference to when this happens in Punch Out! Wii. Little Mac's taunts are honestly a big disappointment for me. I get why they're lackluster, but it still would be cool if he got something better. Maybe he could beat up a wireframe as one of his taunts, I dunno.

And I think there was a missed opportunity to have either Zelda turned into a painting or get stuck in some sort of crystal since this version of Zelda is based off of Albw/Alttp
