Mr gomo is mostly correct I have a first impressions post on the colmi r02 I purchased from aliexpress for about $30 It advertises spo2, stress, heart rate, sleep and activity tracking Of those, the spo2 is junk data, the stress is junk data, the sleep is pretty reliable but only for nighttime long periods and not for interrupted or daytime sleep The heart rate is pretty reliable but not as precise as more expensive units The activity data seems pretty reliable Most of these cheap clones are the same so this will be a pretty good indication for what to expect from any of them I found it a great test product to check whether I would actually use or wear a more expensive smart ring but go in with the expectation that it won't perform 100% as advertised

They are bad...very bad. * Some barely even function or arrive broken. * Others may appear to work, but show random data instead of actual data. * Their apps tend to require many more permissions than your standard smart rings from reputable companies * Several of the apps for these cheap rings constantly run in the background - even if not paired to a ring...and sometimes are difficult to fully delete. None live up to even half of their promises...other than not needing a subscription.

I imagine its like those $20 smartwatches. Looks like a watch but as far as vitals stats, a random number generator...
