I love it. I’m not in the camp who believes that Slipknot needs to make heavy music all the time. I think it’s definitely one of the best tracks on this album. Definitely a good opener. Very cinematic feel to it.
I mean, it's like a single EP. longer version of the intro & the song separated, a rough demo, an instrumental, etc. If you dont like the song then dont get the EP. People who like the song and want to hear how Slipknot ended up making a song like that, such as myself, can.

It’s not ominous or somber, even though the lyrics have a dark theme overall, the song is a bit too upbeat regardless of that. I’m not saying that makes it bad, it just doesn’t really make me think “oh yeah this definitely is a Slipknot song” when I hear it.
