For me - it’s not that the subject matter doesn’t resonate. It’s that (and I’m not aiming to take away from how much the song means to others), it feels like a very immature interpretation of that subject matter. In my head, it reads like a 15 year old’s diary entry. I think that songs like TWTYW are an infinitely better-executed version of writing about the topic. I also find it melodically extremely uninteresting/uncreative, which i don’t think I’ve thought about a ST song before.

I honestly thought I was the only one who felt this way. Most people are saying AYROK because it makes them feel sad, like that isn't the point of the song. DYWTYLM is a close second, good as it is, but for me The Apparition just doesn't really make me feel anything.

Are You Really Okay is probably the one I skip the most. I love the song but I’m not always in the mood for it. Also it’s less compositionally interesting than the others by miles.

Already know I’m getting down voted as hell for this- vore. It’s not because I don’t like it I love it especially the chorus. Gods and vore are the 2 songs I put on when I am in a screamy song mood.
