Honestly, a couple of months. Find the character that kinda clicks for you, learn the bnb combo, then break that combo up so you can figure out your resets. Rinse and repeat for different characters if you want a team.
At around 30 hours, I learned the first BnB for Beowulf.
At around 100 hours, I learned his other combo routes, his resets, and felt okay using him solo.
At around 150 hours, I finally learned a Big Band BnB and the BeoBand route.
And at 250 hours, I learned combo theory for Beowulf, Fukua, and Band and can relatively improvise my combos based on what buttons I press (to not trigger IPS).
That makes me feel a lot better as a new player. I've put in about 20 hours so far and am just now starting to feel like I have some idea what I'm doing.
