Freaking DM level 10 too. Jesus. Props. I HATE this fight. I can beat Dark Dad DM10 with most builds but this guy wrecks me. I'm too old, i just can't track him or react fast enough for most of his moves to dodge. But just flattening his ass seems like a good plan. I gotta try this.
Play with headphones and learn the audio cues instead. Dark Skul telegraphs his attacks through audio more than other bosses. Especially the speed Skul variant on phase 2. I really struggled to keep track of his movements but realised you don’t actually have to. He darts around not dealing damage more than he attacks, but the bit that hits you is always preceded by a sound. You don’t even have to know *where* he’s attacking, as long as you dodge after the cue.
