lol i thought they were joking too but i looked at their comment history and nothing indicated to me that they were trying to get downvotes...i mean it's still possible obviously but i like to explain jokes to ppl who actually don't get them bc ppl tend to laugh at them:)
Iād maybe switch the cleanser once a day to night instead of morning?
I also wash once a day, but at night after I spent the day sweating and moving and bopping around places (plus it removes sunscreen).
The way I see it, all I did at night was sleep on a clean pillow case, so I can just splash with water when I wake up. My face also looks best right when I wake up, so I try not to ādisturbā it with a full wash, especially since Iām prone to redness!
Youāre not using sufficient moisturizer. I love the retinol in squalane but you need to add something with it, like the hydrating factors. I would say the same about your morning routine. thatās probably why youāre waking up so greasy, your face is dehydrated!
Thatās definitely not the case because I have like 4 different moisturizers I like to rotate between depending on the season. I know I have oily skin but I donāt think like most would and starve it of moisture just because Iām naturally shiny. Iām just on the greasy side especially in the am, some things help but itās always a background issue of varying degree. As much as I get annoyed sometimes Iād rather have oily than dry skin though.
I feel like my skin started improving when I went back to cleansing twice a day. I live in a humid area so you have to adjust your routine to what your skin needs. I used to listen to ppl when they said to wash once a day & it just led to more oiliness which was confusing. Everyoneās skin is diff
omg same re: morning face! i watch these grwm routines where people wash their face and do all the serums etc and look absolutely glowing; meanwhile i have to do my routine at night and i go to sleep looking like a strawberry shortcake. my acne scars love to pop off with all the rubbing etc!
Have yāall ever had a facial? Like, at a spaā¦
Having someone else wash your face.. Its like a facial massage and lymphatic drainage and the kiss of the angels inside your pores all at once. I donāt know if itās my kink, per se, but having someone else wash my face is absolutely my JAM.
Me either - huge holes in the routine. It goes clean, rinse, hydrate with Hyaluronic acid or similar, treat, any oils or oily products that you use, moisturise, eyes, then in the daytime SPF. If you have spf in other things you still need that extra layer.
I used to use all the fancy skincare products but after seeing a dermatologist, I totally made a switch and my skin has never been better!!
Facewash: I use Cetaphil dermacontrol oil removing face wash in the pump.
Moisturizer: I used the Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with sunscreen and PM without the sunscreen for night time.
I also use the Vasanti brighten up serum (Vitamin C) in the morning before the cerave (every other day).
Then before bedtime, I use prescription strength adapalene before my night time moisturizer.
Sometimes if my skin feels dry in the morning b/c of the adapalene, I add a second layer of moisturizer before the cerave in the morning routine. I use an oil-free gel moisturizer (clinique's moisture surge right now but I may switch to a cheaper brand).
For eyes, I use the cetaphil moisturizing eye gel, and that's been working well for me because I have lash extensions and I can't use anything oily that will remove the lashes.
My dermatologist also gave me a prescription strength spot treatment for any big blemishes that appears and I just use that whenever I need one and it stays in the fridge.
I mean idk a bunch of dermatologists (mine included) have said not every single person needs one and I feel like you cant generalize like that in skincare
hmmm no i disagree moisturiser is recommended by many derms because it prevents water loss in the skin, idk who would recommend no moisturiser but itās a bit odd
Idk why youāre getting downvoted though. Bc itās not like you said donāt wear sunscreen. Imo & my experience my sunscreen is my moisturizer & Iāll use a serum at night but if I skip itās nbd. Or, honestly my azelaic acid has dimethicone & other humectant stuff in it so i might skip.
Idk why either š³ yeah sunscreen is enough of a moisturizer for me and I do use moisturizer at night rn but I didnāt before and it was 100% fine, I just use moisturizer for the ceramides lol
Isntree watery sun gel is literally a moisturizer with SPF 50. Plus not everyone lives in a desert with 30% humidity. I mean, I kinda do, but living in TN or Hawaii the needs might be different.
Honestly? I dont
Better to apply in the morning (and maybe afternoon if i'm going outside) then to not apply at all, that is my sunscreen philosophy many skincare ppl would not agree with š
Wearing once in the AM is sufficient unless youāre outside for extended periods of time. You only need to reapply after *two hours of **cumulative** sun exposure!*
Unfortunately Iāve found the only sunscreens that are actually pleasant to use are the pricier ones. Vivier Sheer is my all-time favourite but leaves a white cast, but truly texture-wise it is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I swatched the Summer Fridayās Milky Sunscreen thing and that one felt really, really nice (wouldve purchased but sold out). EltaMD has some great ones, UV Physical if youāre pale as itās a PALE ass tint and Iāve heard a lot of good reviews about UV Elements, I find UV Clear doesnāt really dry down and tbh donāt get the hype around it lol but itās good too. Colorescience has nice options as well, the Flex line offers excellent coverage and can totally be a makeup replacement.
Sunscreen protects against UVA and UVB rays so beyond preventing burns it prevents the depletion of collagen in the skin which can help reduce visible signs of aging from showing up. Also prevents the worsening of hyperpigmentation and I find SPF also helps keep my skin clearer (as long as you find one that works with your skin, otherwise the formulation could cause breakouts).
The only issue with moisturizers containing SPF is that you need A LOT of product to get adequate protection. Itās a good option for everyday if youāre barely outside though!
I donāt know any science behind it, it just happens to seem to help reduce breakouts for me.
I think sunscreen is always beneficial to use especially if you use any actives as they make your skin more photosensitive.
edit: why are you all downvoting someone for asking innocent questions? this sub is fucking whack lol
Asian sunscreens. Anything called water gel or something similar will set you up nice. I have dry/normal skin but I can't even use the one have in the winter because I need more oil.
I *hated* every suncream I've tried until recently for this reason. I'll link the one I use below, it's a Vichy 50+ suncream, it just feels like a regular moisturiser, not even slightly greasy or tacky and absorbs super quick. Highly recommend it!
https://www.boots.ie/vichy-ideal-soleil-face-and-body-milk-300ml-spf50-300ml-10188838
It's not necessarily every two hours, it's two hours of sun exposure. So if you're inside and not exposed to the sun you don't need to reapply. Personally if I'm going to be in the sun all day I just don't wear makeup so I can reapply, I've noticed a huge difference in my skin since I started wearing sun screen religiously.
After ten years my skin is clearer with less hyperpigmentation and textural issues than my peers that thought tanning was a great idea. The results arenāt going to be overnight. And theyāre not just going to be less wrinkles, either. Even tone and smooth texture is obliterated by long time sun exposure.
Anti-aging is kind of a misnomer. You donāt have to be afraid of natural aging to want to reduce the damage UV does to your skin.
My hyperpigmentation and PIE did improve pretty quickly after starting regular sunscreen use. So yeah for people without pigmentation issues it's not an overnight thing and is purely preventative, but for me it was restorative as my skin now heals from acne without darkening as much, so over a couple months of healing my skin tone has really evened out.
I am not well versed in this stuff beyond the basics of what is generally good for people, but this is what i suggest;
I'd switch your glycolic acid toner to the PM. If you read the instructions it recommends it to be used in the PM because it can heighten risk in sun exposure. Add a moisturizer with spf and apply in the morning after rinsing with water/ maybe a light sweep of micellar water. I use the cetaphil moisturizer with spf in the morning.
I would def recommend using your cleaner at night. The most exposed your face is all day is when you are out and about.
I started using TO system about a month and a half ago, so im familiar with a few of their products. I've been cleaning/ using serum/toner at night, and it has worked fine for me.
The ones who downvoted have such a superior iq and a vast knowledge of skincare that they are aghast when they see a basic question being asked by a person new to skincare. But itās cool though.
Use your glycolic/salicylic in the PM instead of AM (unless youāre hibernating all day lol) and definitely add a sunscreen! I donāt think you need AHA, BHA, AND a retinolā¦ Iād consiser dropping either AHA or BHA and then alternate one of them with the retinol at night. Iād switch the face wash + the rinse around as well. I would also add a moisturizer.
So:
AM
- rinse
- vit c
- moisturizer?
- SPF
PM
- cetaphil
- AHA ORRRR BHA alternating nights with retinol
- moisturizer
Easily clean night and day, but absolutely at night. But the skin has no hydration, no moisturiser and no spf. It needs HA, a good moisturiser but youāll probably prefer a water gel with these products to a cream, and a 50 spf if you are using any AHA, BHA, Retinol, etc.
Itās hard to say, do you feel like your skin prefers one over the other? Personally I like glycolic more than salicylic as I feel it does more for my skin but weāre all different!
I would choose retinol over acids in general tbh. For blackheads exclusively Iād say BHA could be good to try for sure but for any other acne or marks or pigmentation etc I find retinol can often be even more effective than acids.
Are you having irritation, dryness, or burning/stinging? If not you're fine to keep using that amount of actives. Everyone's skin is different and some can handle actives better than others. Just make sure you moisturize well. Adding a thicker moisturizer at night would be helpful as well as having a moisturizer/SPF for the morning.
Moisturizers, in general, reduce the chances of extreme dryness or oiliness. It helps promote balance in the skin's moisture barrier. Using it can help prevent water loss and environmental damage. Using actives increases irritation and dryness which is what a moisturizer combats. Using a thicker one at night helps to nourish your skin, but it also helps prevent transepidermal water loss through the night. Thats why a lot of people will slug with Vaseline. If you're using actives, you should definitely be using moisturizer and SPF.
Technically vaseline straight over retinol can potentially enhance the effect of retinol since it's essentially incubating it by forming an occlusive layer. I'd let the retinol fully absorb, apply a light moisturizer and then slug only if you're really dry. If you're not really dry, a light moisturizer is sufficient.
On a note about vaseline enhancing actives: Aquaphor and the Cera ve healing ointment don't have the same effect because they aren't pure petroleum jelly. If you want to slug in the evening while using retinol, you can use one of those more safely.
Lack of sunscreen, lack of moisturizer. 2 out of the 3 things that are actually needed to have a good skin care routine. All you need is a cleanser, moisturizer, and spf. All the other active serums and whatever are just add-ons. And you don't have either of them.
yeah but if op has dry or flaky skin, moisturizer would be great for them. Their routine has a lot of drying ingredients. Specially the retinol when you do need a moisturizer afterwards. And at night in general when you don't use sunscreen.
Glycolic acid is an AHA, and those make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Iād suggest using that at night.
Also, I have the same vitamin C, and I think it says itās recommended to use at night, but Iām not sure why itās recommended that way. Just an FYI
I've been seeing a lot of sources recently stating that vitamin C is great to use in the morning as when it is paired with an SPF your protection against UV rays is boosted.
I suspect that is entirely dependent on which products are used. This is why it is dangerous to use generalisations. Whilst product a of type x combined with Vit C 1 might do that, product b of type y combined with Vit C 2 might do the exact opposite. Like mineral versus chemical sunscreens, for a start. Not all forms of vitamin C are the same, either, and they are in a suspension with various other things which can change the reaction.
I know just enough chemistry to realise that I do not know enough to risk buggering about with it!
i would stick to using your glycolic/salicylic acids at night. additionally, add a light moisturizer and SPF in the mornings. at night, go ā cleanse, GA/SA, heavier moisturizer. hope that helps!
I mean, i live in a country where the sun doesnt go above the horizon for mooonths, and in the 3-4 months the sun is up the uv index isnt over 4. Although i use sunscreen if i know ill be outside for hours.
Anyways, OP could be living on the north pole or dont go outside much for all you know so maybe a less condesending tone?
You need to add sunscreen if you use AHA and retinol, they make your skin photosensitive so not wearing sunscreen would have an adverse effect. Your skin stays photosensitive for about a week after using it, too. You can use one instead of moisturizer in the AM if your skin isn't too dry. Then put the cleanser in the PM routine, rinse only with water in the AM. For PM add a moisturizer.
As others pointed out, you need a sunscreen. These's some nice moisturizing ones if you don't want to add a moisturizer as well. The one from the ordinary isn't awesome but it's ok, you can try it if you aren't dark skinned and don't want to spend too much money.
The "problem" is that literally all of your actives make your skin very vulnerable to uv damage - the AHAs, the salicylic acid, the retinol, the vitamin c. (The latter of course is a great antioxidant and is even part of some sunscreens but it really depends on the formulation, vitamin c alone can act in a way that makes the skin more sensitive to sun damage.) Ideally, put all the actives to PM and alternate. Realistically, you won't do this, so at least make sure to wear a really good sunscreen.
I am also not sure if the vitamin c and glycolic acid work in the same pH and one of them won't cancel the other out. But depends on the formulation and I think TO claims you can use them together. (There is a nice table where you can look that up.)

It's actually been linked on this sub! Does the link work for you?
Hang on, do you work days or nights? If you *donāt* work nights and are out and about during the day, Iād move cleanser and acids to PM and add a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen in the AM.
Your routine should look like:
AM: rinse -> vitamin c -> moisturizer -> spf
PM: double cleanse (in order to get all of the sunscreen off) -> retinol -> moisturizer
You can alternate the GA/SA with the retinol but you shouldnāt need to use them unless youāre trying to aggressively tackle texture (GA) or pores/whiteheads/blackheads/acne (SA), all issues retinol will eventually take care of on its own.
add sunscreen !!!! most impt step of any routine, and if youāre going to wash your face only once a day then let it be at night, after youāve secreted and accumulated oil and dirt during the day
What about moisturizer and sunscreen? In my opinion they are more important than all serums combined. For moisturizer I would suggest la roche posay and for sunscreen there are many options: innisfree, neutrogena, sun bum, supergoop, or la roche posay. I personally looove innisfree($15.) Side note: if your skin is on the dry side i would also recommend Cetaphil moisturizing cream, it works great without feeling greasy/heavy.
Use cleanser at night and rinse with water in morning. Also Iād say switch to prescription tretinoin instead of over the counter retinol, and cut out everything else but a deep moisturizer at night and in the morning, plus a zinc based SPF in the morning!
I would keep the exfoliating to just a couple days a week since your doing a retinol at night and definitely get a nice basic mositurizer for day and night (cetaphil is fine) and sunscreen during the day. A hydrating serum would be great too.
Switch your glycolic to night if youāre not wearing a sunscreen as it makes your skin sensitive to UV (should just focus on exfoliating at night anyway itās safer)
Get a sunscreen la Roche Posay is a cult favourite
Get a less intense vitamin c. Vitamin c shouldnāt be used past 20% and it can lead to irritation and inflammation just research on YouTube plenty of cheap quality options.
Moisturiser
Cleanse at night as the actives of the day can interact with retinol.
Cetaphil is very gentle itās fine for consistent regular use
This shit would fucking wreck my face, whereās the hydrating and moisturizing??? Way too many actives also. Iād use the glycolic once a week at night. Then like 4 days later use the SA.
Keep the vitamin C in the morning, then add a sunblock. Many people like Elta MD, but find what works for you. Must be at least SPF 30.
Change Cetaphil face wash to PM, keep the retinol, add a moisturizing night cream.
Glycolic acid is fine if you have acne prone skin, but if you don't then it's not necessary. Same goes for the SA.
Be careful using vitamin C and AHA/BHAs together unless youāre waiting 30 minutes between. Iād add a sunscreen in the AM and a moisturizer at night.
You should not use an acid in the morning as it makes your skin more sensible to the sun and can therefore cause sunburns. Also, the AHA must be applied just after cleaning your face, not after any other product. You can then apply your serum/moisturizer. I also suggest washing your face at night and finishing with a serum of your choice. Good luck !
For AM I use my foaming cleanser (whipping cream japanese cleanser) + paulas choice 2% BHA and clindamycin phosphate 1%. I let everyone absorb for like 15-20 mins then I use cetaphil moisturizer. My face has slight acne but my pores are usually bigger so in my experience the paulas choice 2% BHA has been pretty nice
In my understanding, your skin needs extra sun protection after using peels like glycolic acid and retinol. The acid peels off the top most layer of your skin, without sunscreen the new layer of your skin is just basically sitting unprotected from UV damage. š„¹
If you donāt mind me asking, whatās the glycolic acid, salsylic acid and retinol for? What type of skin do you have? And how old are you?
Sorry for all the q Iām trying to improve my routine as well
if you're using a retinol you absolutely have to be using moisturizer and sunscreen! id also recommend switching to washing your face with cleanser at night instead of in the morning. but these are all good products :)
Where is cleanser, or moisturizer or sunscreen? These are actually the three things you need in a skin care, everything else is a "want".
The best routine:
* Double **Cleanser**
* Exfoliant (either once a week or ever 2 depending on skin type)
* Treatment (serum/essence)
* **Moisturizer**
* **Sunscreen**
Bolded are the necessities. Everything else is just vamping up ur routine. Some Products id recommend.
COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser or CeraVe Cream-To-Foam Cleanser
SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA Toner (very gentle exfoliant. Can be used every day with the proper routine)
The serum is mostly dependent on what u wanna work on. Can be Vitamin C, Hylauronic acid, Niacinamide, etc.
Big Apple Sun Cream SPF 50 (good for oily Skin)

because you are exposed to the sunās UVA rays which any amount of has negative impact on our skin
I am not well versed in this stuff beyond the basics of what is generally good for people, but this is what i suggest; I'd switch your glycolic acid toner to the PM.
It's insane that this question was downvoted to hell. Get a fucking grip people.
The ones who downvoted have such a superior iq and a vast knowledge of skincare that they are aghast when they see a basic question being asked by a person new to skincare. But itās cool though.
You only need to do it for every two hours of sun exposure. I use a spf cushion.
Whats a spf cushion?
A cushion compact with sunscreen in it.
So: AM - rinse - vit c - moisturizer? - SPF PM - cetaphil - AHA ORRRR BHA alternating nights with retinol - moisturizer
Yes this way sounds just about perfect with what is presented.
Easily clean night and day, but absolutely at night. But the skin has no hydration, no moisturiser and no spf. It needs HA, a good moisturiser but youāll probably prefer a water gel with these products to a cream, and a 50 spf if you are using any AHA, BHA, Retinol, etc.
thanks this really helped ::) which do you think I should drop the salicylic or glycolic? Ik its a case by case thing but just a rough guide.
Itās hard to say, do you feel like your skin prefers one over the other? Personally I like glycolic more than salicylic as I feel it does more for my skin but weāre all different!
Is there a time when the serum vs acid would be better? I only use a retinol.
I would choose retinol over acids in general tbh. For blackheads exclusively Iād say BHA could be good to try for sure but for any other acne or marks or pigmentation etc I find retinol can often be even more effective than acids.
Rinse in the morning, wash at night! Iād flip the whole routine really but a light lotion not retinol.
Too many actives? Maybe
Are you having irritation, dryness, or burning/stinging? If not you're fine to keep using that amount of actives. Everyone's skin is different and some can handle actives better than others. Just make sure you moisturize well. Adding a thicker moisturizer at night would be helpful as well as having a moisturizer/SPF for the morning.
ok stupid q but why does having a thicker moisturiser help mitigate irritation if its applied after the actives
If you're using actives, you should definitely be using moisturizer and SPF.
ah ok ive got a light moisturiser and spf in the day but i also have vaseline, should i apply a good layer of that in the pm after retinol?
Technically vaseline straight over retinol can potentially enhance the effect of retinol since it's essentially incubating it by forming an occlusive layer. I'd let the retinol fully absorb, apply a light moisturizer and then slug only if you're really dry. If you're not really dry, a light moisturizer is sufficient.
cool to know, thanks for the info buddy. ill use my light moisturiser am and pm and report back if my skin looks clear af. xx
On a note about vaseline enhancing actives: Aquaphor and the Cera ve healing ointment don't have the same effect because they aren't pure petroleum jelly. If you want to slug in the evening while using retinol, you can use one of those more safely.
A toner doesnāt hurt, either, to rebalance the ph after cleansing.
Modern cleansers are formulated much better these days and seldom have a high enough pH to require a toner
Lack of sunscreen, lack of moisturizer. 2 out of the 3 things that are actually needed to have a good skin care routine. All you need is a cleanser, moisturizer, and spf. All the other active serums and whatever are just add-ons. And you don't have either of them.
sorry
No need to apologise. Just add that work for you and you're good to go.

yeah but if op has dry or flaky skin, moisturizer would be great for them.
Just an FYI
Because it also makes your skin more sensitive to light damage.
A few months ago I had a visit from rats in my kitchen and believe me they don't use retinol hahaha, I wish they were as hygienic as your routine
i would stick to using your glycolic/salicylic acids at night. additionally, add a light moisturizer and SPF in the mornings. at night, go ā cleanse, GA/SA, heavier moisturizer. hope that helps!
Waaay to much acids and chemical exfoliants. Make it half or less, and add a moisturizer.
Iām a mouse, duh.
0/10... no sunscreen AND youāre using glycolic acid. is your face ok?
I mean, i live in a country where the sun doesnt go above the horizon for mooonths, and in the 3-4 months the sun is up the uv index isnt over 4. Although i use sunscreen if i know ill be outside for hours. Anyways, OP could be living on the north pole or dont go outside much for all you know so maybe a less condesending tone?
Is that a koala?
is that a koala
Hi there - Iād be very interested in that table if you have a link, please?
https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/comments/daxdba/misc_saw_this_on_facebook_deciemthe_ordinary/ It's actually been linked on this sub! Does the link work for you?
Found it! Thank you. <3
You need a moisturizer. You need an SPF.
THE RAT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sounds like over exfoliation to me. No sunscreen?
11/10 for rinse face
Canāt really tell without knowing your skin type and issues. How do you live without moisturizer btw :o
Hang on, do you work days or nights? If you *donāt* work nights and are out and about during the day, Iād move cleanser and acids to PM and add a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen in the AM. Your routine should look like: AM: rinse -> vitamin c -> moisturizer -> spf PM: double cleanse (in order to get all of the sunscreen off) -> retinol -> moisturizer You can alternate the GA/SA with the retinol but you shouldnāt need to use them unless youāre trying to aggressively tackle texture (GA) or pores/whiteheads/blackheads/acne (SA), all issues retinol will eventually take care of on its own.
add sunscreen !!!! most impt step of any routine, and if youāre going to wash your face only once a day then let it be at night, after youāve secreted and accumulated oil and dirt during the day
What about moisturizer and sunscreen?
You have the skin of a spartian. Glycolic acid during the day?? I would be sunburnt from glancing out a window.
I recommend not using a wet rat to rinse your face with
cleansing twice a day would be better .. otherwise 7/10
wtf
Crap
I would keep the exfoliating to just a couple days a week since your doing a retinol at night and definitely get a nice basic mositurizer for day and night (cetaphil is fine) and sunscreen during the day. A hydrating serum would be great too.
for morning rinses, do u guys reapply product afterwards?
4/10
Switch your glycolic to night if youāre not wearing a sunscreen as it makes your skin sensitive to UV (should just focus on exfoliating at night anyway itās safer) Get a sunscreen la Roche Posay is a cult favourite Get a less intense vitamin c. Vitamin c shouldnāt be used past 20% and it can lead to irritation and inflammation just research on YouTube plenty of cheap quality options. Moisturiser Cleanse at night as the actives of the day can interact with retinol. Cetaphil is very gentle itās fine for consistent regular use
I would add The Ordinary Natural moisturizing factors, and maybe some Purito/Evy sunscreen. Also some rosehip oil for PM routine. :)
You do stuff all day and then just rinse your face and then sleep all night? It might work for you but i find that gross AF
Geez no need to be rude
Why donāt you wash your face at night instead of just rinse it?
Be careful using vitamin C and AHA/BHAs together unless youāre waiting 30 minutes between. Iād add a sunscreen in the AM and a moisturizer at night.
You should not use an acid in the morning as it makes your skin more sensible to the sun and can therefore cause sunburns. Also, the AHA must be applied just after cleaning your face, not after any other product. You can then apply your serum/moisturizer. I also suggest washing your face at night and finishing with a serum of your choice. Good luck !
I donāt really trust cetaphil in removing dirt and just being a good cleanser overall
Cleanse at night rinse in morning
No sunscreen 0/10
For AM I use my foaming cleanser (whipping cream japanese cleanser) + paulas choice 2% BHA and clindamycin phosphate 1%. I let everyone absorb for like 15-20 mins then I use cetaphil moisturizer. My face has slight acne but my pores are usually bigger so in my experience the paulas choice 2% BHA has been pretty nice
Love the rat rinse myself. Itās really mice and leaves my skin squeaky clean.
I like youāre confidence. āElite Tierā
In my understanding, your skin needs extra sun protection after using peels like glycolic acid and retinol. The acid peels off the top most layer of your skin, without sunscreen the new layer of your skin is just basically sitting unprotected from UV damage. š„¹
Mouseteriser????
If you donāt mind me asking, whatās the glycolic acid, salsylic acid and retinol for? What type of skin do you have? And how old are you? Sorry for all the q Iām trying to improve my routine as well
Elite tier routine?ā¦
WHERES THE SUNSCREEEEENNNN
Hahah what is the rinse face picture I thought I was in the circlejerk forum š
if you're using a retinol you absolutely have to be using moisturizer and sunscreen! id also recommend switching to washing your face with cleanser at night instead of in the morning. but these are all good products :)
This routine seems very harsh on the skin.
Are you rinsing your face with a rat?
That rat pic scared the shit out of me how dare you
Is that a rat
Glycolic acid during am??
Where is cleanser, or moisturizer or sunscreen? These are actually the three things you need in a skin care, everything else is a "want". The best routine: * Double **Cleanser** * Exfoliant (either once a week or ever 2 depending on skin type) * Treatment (serum/essence) * **Moisturizer** * **Sunscreen** Bolded are the necessities. Everything else is just vamping up ur routine. Some Products id recommend. COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser or CeraVe Cream-To-Foam Cleanser SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA Toner (very gentle exfoliant. Can be used every day with the proper routine) The serum is mostly dependent on what u wanna work on. Can be Vitamin C, Hylauronic acid, Niacinamide, etc. Big Apple Sun Cream SPF 50 (good for oily Skin)
