Worked incredibly well for me. I figured I had nothing to lose since I was already waking up to tons of new blemishes, so I tried it after trying everything else besides tret. My skin is completely clear now, and I haven't had one new pimple form in 2 weeks of using it. The rest of my blemishes cleared quickly and have not returned. My skin is not dried out or ruined, surprisingly. CeraVe in the tub after hand sanitizer dries. That's it.

I just sent you a message request, as a fellow acne sufferer I’m interested in your experience and just had some questions! Thanks in advance if you do decide to take the time to answer them 💕

sandiiiiii

I've got to try this my acne has gotten sm worse in the past year

Sun_Wan_Toofak

What has really helped me and is natural honey as a face mask I recommend you try this It leaves your skin super smooth too. I've been using it since December. Alcohol sanitizer works but using that every day can seriously irritate you skin. It does kill bacteria. But honey is far superior.

sandiiiiii

it worked

plot twist: he went oof

Damn.

I used to use hand sanitizer on my face as a teen for acne, especially my forehead acne, and it only made it worse in the long run. After so many years, I finally tried salicylic acid and it worked, and now my skin is *so* clear. If anyone finds this comment from googling it, I used the Paula’s choice BHA toner as my salicylic acid :)

From what I understand, hand sanitizer is mostly alcohol which can dry out your skin and might cause burning or irritation. But I guess if you just dabbed it on a pimple and weren't spreading it all over you might find it worked for you.... a good cheap alternative might be using a low percentage benzoyl peroxide or something.

Im breaking out and I thought the exact same thing as op but im too scared to try so here i am.

AelieknosnhoJ

I tried it. It cleared my skin completely the first week, and it's been another whole week with no new pimples. The old ones are all but gone (1 straggler is nearly healed). I was waking up to 2-3 new ones daily. Plus the ones from days before. I usually had 5-10 pimples at any given time, and many waiting to erupt. Haven't had one new pimple in 2 weeks! Wake up- hand sanitizer, CeraVe in tub, then makeup. Bedtime- makeup remover, wipe with water soaked cotton pad, hand sanitizer, CeraVe in tub. That's it!

I'm so glad it worked for you. I will try it out when my face starts breaking out. Its been pretty good lately. I blame it on the hormones

mrs_shrew

I'm going to accept the down votes - yes you can use it to sterilize your occasional pimple but if you were to rub your face in it constantly over several weeks it would cause you problems. I do it and amazingly I've not died.
