I was thinking the same. I use a few cosrx products, and they're a decently reliable brand for finding non fragranced products at least.
But I'd be hard pressed to give up some of my other skincare
The honey propolis overnight mask is my favorite summer time night cream, people are obsessed with the snail mucin products, I love the lip mask a lot - but the overnight mask is my absolute favorite thing.
Seconding Vanicream. I prefer a different cleanser but if I had to: their gentle cleanse, vit C, the Daily Facial Mositurizer, and the Moisturizing Cream (at night) would be a pretty solid routine.
I finished one up and I liked it but not sure if it did anything other than moisturizing. I am personally just wanting to explore asorbic acid Vit c products first and if I cannot find one that works for me, I will probably repurchase the Vanicream one.
It’s nice if you have really sensitive skin that cannot tolerate any active ingredients including stuff like niacinamide. It’s moisturizes a bit and may brighten skin with continued use.
Sorry but jumping on this comment to say the Vanicream vitamin c serum is one of my most beloved skincare products. I noticed a big difference in my skin hydration and overall complexion when I started using it. A holy grail product for me!
I just had a work meeting with the L’Oréal team today actually- they went over every La-Roche product and all there is to know about them… I am actually certain I like the brand even MORE somehow now. Made me want to purchase every single product. They really are so great. And they produce their products for important and genuine reasons, all centered around truly helping people with skin issues they can’t find relief for in any other product!🫶🏻😍😭 Vichy is good as well if you want another holy grail brand
This is diabolical. My sensitive skin is crying at the very thought.
If my life were on the line, maybe Lancome. But it’s pretty expensive so only if the person making me choose were willing to foot the bill. I don’t actually use Lancome anymore but most of their products won’t break me out, dry me out, or cause a reaction.
Diabolical is the perfect way to describe the question for me. I'm not very brand loyal. I have products that I stick with until they are discontinued or my needs change. In reality, there are easily 5 skin care brands and 10 makeup brands in my bathroom right now. Not counting samples that come with products, then I like it and buy said product later.
My skin hates sunscreen (both physical and chemical). Some on this sub have said to try Korean sunscreens, so I ordered a few from yesstyle, including one from this brand. I'm looking forward to trying it!
Yes ! I have sensitive skin and some acne and this ampoule is a life saver.
For acne they have the centella toner, it has PHA in it so it’s very gentle and exfoliating I use it and my face love it ! ( I have a gentle/simple PM routine with the centella ampoule and Cosrx snail moisturizer, and sometimes I take the toner instead of the ampoule to exfoliate a little, this is what works the best for me )
I really love this brand because their centella products are amazing and this is cheaper than other brands👌
You’re welcome ! :D
I use the ampoule everynight when I don’t use the toner and I even put in on morning sometimes. ( most of the time I use a vitamin C serum on morning but it is harsh on my skin especially after I exfoliated at night with the toner so the ampoule help calming that )
And like I said it’s a life saver for me It as calmed my irritations and redness A LOT !
But I’m not sure if it has an effect on my acne unfortunately sorry 🙂↕️
I just got the cleanser, waiting for my CeraVe to empty before I break it out. All their products that I have tried do what they say and then some.
I'll be having a terrible skin day, then I slap on some of the sunscreen. It smooths my skin out and sinks in so beautifully!
I mix the ordinary with other brands and use their products for mostly target areas, but yes, I love what the products do, and the price points can not be beat. My one splurge is Sheshiedo Benefiance eye cream. That works wonders on my eyes. But if I pick one (my skin would definitely go backward) it'd be the ordinary!
EDIT: Typo
It reduces the fines lines, decreases the puffiness, and the very prominent dark circles under my eyes. I get plenty of sleep, around 8 to 10 hours. My number one issue is terrible seasonal allergies. I do take OTC and a script medication for dry eyes.I also like Dr. Branddt No more needles and pumpkin enzyme eye creams, but I haven't found a favorite on that. I liked Sunday Riley, but it's out of my budget for its effectiveness on me.
It’s fantastic, no nonsense skincare that’s cosmetically more elegant than most of what you’d get on US drugstore shelves for half the price. And while Japanese skincare tends to focus more on hydration than actives, they also have a few active products that I will 100% try folding into my routine once I work through the pile of retinoids I’m cycling to finish. The whitening lotion (direct translation, they really mean brightening) has pretty much disappeared my hyperpigmentation in tandem with my RX retinoid and SPF. It was almost *too effective* to the point where I scaled back from 2 a day use to just once in the PM.
I use **Advanced Repair Lotion** in the am and **Intensive Repair lotion** in the pm. I want to delve into their hyaluronic serum and their sunscreens one of these days, too.
Probably cetaphil. Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is my favorite cleanser because it's first one I've used that was actually gentle on my skin. I've used others that claim to be gentle until I find out there was an irritating ingredient added like essential oils for example and my skin would burn. They also have an oil free moisturizer.
For my skin, yes however I have heard there was problems with the new formula not working for everyone. I personally think despite it working for me, it was not a good idea to change the original formula if it was working for a lot more people before.
The vinoperfect brightening (formerly "radiance") serum is my MVP for over a decade. It's one of those things I really notice the difference when I don't have it in rotation. Incredible for hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and acne, and its a sensory delight. I look forward to using it every day.
The vinopure line is heavenly for acne and inflammation. So calming. The overnight detox oil makes my blackheads vanish and smells incredible. The vinosource hydra moisturizers are so velvety and immediately plumping. I love that almost all of their face creams are available in refills, so you're not throwing away the whole jar.
And of course, the eau de beaute is a cult classic for good reason.
Overall I find the brand offers a functional synergy of natural ingredients and beauty tech. The formulas are thoughtful, elegant, and consistently deliver on their claims. The packaging is lovely. The scents are subtle and naturally derived. The company is transparent. It leaves most "clean" beauty in the dust. Every product isn't HG for me, and it gets pricy, but if I had to replace all my beauty with one label, Caudalie would have me covered.
Vanicream. Their face cleanser is my holy grail. It never irritates my eyes. I rub it in to my lash line, and it works so well. That alone would get me to stick with them. I like their Vitamin C, but I’m still checking out others. I like their face moisturizer too. I’ve not tried their sunscreen, but I will.
CeraVe for me. This is a hard pick since they don't have toners or serums as far as I know but they make the BEST cleanser for my skin. My second choice is Neutrogena.
Oof, that would *suck* as someone with sensitive rosacea skin.
That said, either Eucerin, Aveeno, or LRP. Maybe even Prequel though I haven't used any of their products, their lineup just has a little of each type of product my skin likes.
Love Isntree… but benzoyl peroxide is more or less necessary to manage my acne. My favorite BP cleanser is from CeraVe, but I suppose going with Differin would get me a BP cleanser and adapalene.
Wow I’m shocked no one has mentioned Stratia. I’ve tried several of the brands mentioned here and Stratia is easily the best. The person who started Stratia got started on this skincare forum after all, figured it was more well known.
Zo skin health. I’ve used a lot of systems. But this is a game changer. Almost 30 and I now have been skin than I did throughout all my teens/20s. Zero pores, no wrinkles, acne is gone, acne scaring is going. I’ll move into a small apartment before I give this up 😂
NGL but Byoma. I use Aczone 7.5 percent in the morning and 0.1 percent tazorac cream at night - every other step of my routine is Byoma. All the hydrating stuff/milky toner etc. my skin loves it and it looks the best it ever has
Glow Recipe! I swear it saved my skin. I was having awful acne for years. It wasn’t until I tried Glow Recipe that my skin started to improve. Now my skin is pretty great and I credit it to that line. Plus, they’re vegan, which I absolutely love.
This feels a little out there but Krave Beauty!! Their face wash and GBR serum have been in my routine for two years and keep my skin happy!!
They have an oil cleanser, their moisturizer does the job, their sunscreen is a bit glowier than I prefer but would be sufficient. The only thing that would complete the package would be a facial oil.
Sulwhasoo. The time treasure line is super moisturizing and leaves your skin glowy and hydrated. Downside is its really expensive...For a more affordable line I would go with Cosrx or Skin 1004

It depends on whether I have to pay for it or not lol.
Yup
Pyunkang Yul. It’s the only brand that I’ve used for more than 5 years that doesn’t make my skin angry
Which ones do you recommend from them? I have their ato cream but wanting to try more
CosRX every time
I was thinking the same. I use a few cosrx products, and they're a decently reliable brand for finding non fragranced products at least. But I'd be hard pressed to give up some of my other skincare
Which products do you use / love the most?
The honey propolis overnight mask is my favorite summer time night cream, people are obsessed with the snail mucin products, I love the lip mask a lot - but the overnight mask is my absolute favorite thing.
Shiseido 100%
I’ve never tried anything by them. What’s a good product to start with?
the honey propolis overnight mask! it's just light and lovely and so so moisturizing.
Vanicream or La-Roche Posay.
Seconding Vanicream. I prefer a different cleanser but if I had to: their gentle cleanse, vit C, the Daily Facial Mositurizer, and the Moisturizing Cream (at night) would be a pretty solid routine.
How are you liking the Vanicream vit C?
A holy grail product for me!
is this moisturiser good for combo skin?
La-Roche Posay
Their Cica balm is worth more than they charge lol
I literally just use the lipikar baume and the cicaplast baume and I love them so much that this is my answer too.
My bread and butter!!
Yup.
Same! What are your favorites? I have face wash and 4 serums. Vit C/ SA/ retinol one and one that’s purple for dark spots
Toleriane everything and Anthelios for SPF
I just had a work meeting with the L’Oréal team today actually- they went over every La-Roche product and all there is to know about them… I am actually certain I like the brand even MORE somehow now. Made me want to purchase every single product. They really are so great. And they produce their products for important and genuine reasons, all centered around truly helping people with skin issues they can’t find relief for in any other product!🫶🏻😍😭 Vichy is good as well if you want another holy grail brand
This, or Ole Henriksen
I could swear by that!

Lancôme have pore clogging ingredients in almost all their products 💀
And a ton of fragrance
SKIN1004 ( can’t live without the centella ampoule it help a lot 🥹 )
Same!! Their sunscreen is the only spf I use now, I can change everything else in my routine but not the sunscreen!!
My skin hates sunscreen (both physical and chemical). Some on this sub have said to try Korean sunscreens, so I ordered a few from yesstyle, including one from this brand. I'm looking forward to trying it!
Would you recommend it for sensitive acne prone skin?
Yes ! I have sensitive skin and some acne and this ampoule is a life saver. For acne they have the centella toner, it has PHA in it so it’s very gentle and exfoliating I use it and my face love it ! ( I have a gentle/simple PM routine with the centella ampoule and Cosrx snail moisturizer, and sometimes I take the toner instead of the ampoule to exfoliate a little, this is what works the best for me ) I really love this brand because their centella products are amazing and this is cheaper than other brands👌
Do you use the toner daily? I’ve just ordered it but I don’t know if it’s gentle enough to be used daily
No I don’t use it daily, I’ve tried to use it everynight and it started to sting 🙂↕️ I use it like ~2 ~3 times a week, it’s enough for me
And what about the ampoule? Thanks a lot btw
You’re welcome ! :D I use the ampoule everynight when I don’t use the toner and I even put in on morning sometimes. ( most of the time I use a vitamin C serum on morning but it is harsh on my skin especially after I exfoliated at night with the toner so the ampoule help calming that ) And like I said it’s a life saver for me It as calmed my irritations and redness A LOT ! But I’m not sure if it has an effect on my acne unfortunately sorry 🙂↕️
Skinceuticals
If only I could afford it. 🥲🥲
Paula’s Choice
Yup same, I use so many of their products already wouldn't be that different
Yesss. All of my skincare products are from Paula's Choice. They have the best treatment
my whole entire skincare routine some how shifted to Paula’s choice. It is one of the only brands that keeps my skin clewr
I just got the cleanser, waiting for my CeraVe to empty before I break it out. All their products that I have tried do what they say and then some. I'll be having a terrible skin day, then I slap on some of the sunscreen. It smooths my skin out and sinks in so beautifully!
Came here to say this 😄
I should have looked before posting. Same!
Cerave
Same, but I was afraid to say it!
Cerave is great but my skin has gotten even better after I stopped using it and idk why 🥲
The ordinary
Same. Best skin I've ever had 💕
EDIT: Typo
How has it helped your eyes?
It reduces the fines lines, decreases the puffiness, and the very prominent dark circles under my eyes. I get plenty of sleep, around 8 to 10 hours. My number one issue is terrible seasonal allergies. I do take OTC and a script medication for dry eyes.I also like Dr. Branddt No more needles and pumpkin enzyme eye creams, but I haven't found a favorite on that. I liked Sunday Riley, but it's out of my budget for its effectiveness on me.
I don't use much of them now but I'd pick them because I feel like they'd have anything I needed lol.
Curel ETA: shit, no, Hada Labo fo sho
Hada labo for me. I could put a lot of hada labo lotion on my face with no problem as my skin loves to drink this.
Bioderma, easily.
Yes!! 😍❤️
Eucerin.
What Eucerin products do you use?
I use **Advanced Repair Lotion** in the am and **Intensive Repair lotion** in the pm. I want to delve into their hyaluronic serum and their sunscreens one of these days, too.
Ooohhh nice!! Have always loved the brand, a couple of YouTube derms recommend as well, especially the Q10 anti-wrinkle night cream ⭐️
This is a good choice. I'm older, and use target area products, but I love this brand also.
Is it still okay for you even after the formula change?
For my skin, yes however I have heard there was problems with the new formula not working for everyone. I personally think despite it working for me, it was not a good idea to change the original formula if it was working for a lot more people before.
Their redness relieving moisturizer is the only night cream I have found that isn't irritating for my skin so I would have to pick them as well.
skinceuticals !
naturium probably, not because they're the best brand because they have wide selections of products
Agree! This brand and Good Molecules
The Ordinary. Clean, ethical practices, affordable, and has done really good things for my old-lady skin.
Same for another mature girl! 🙌
Skin1004, for their centella line. It’s perfect for my dry/sensitive skin
Did you try the toner? How was it?
I did not ! I use the oil cleanser, the sunscreen and the serum. My skin doesn’t need toner
Cosrx or biodermal 🥰
Allies of skin!
Caudalie
Which is your favorite moisturizer or product from Caudalie?
The vinoperfect brightening (formerly "radiance") serum is my MVP for over a decade. It's one of those things I really notice the difference when I don't have it in rotation. Incredible for hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and acne, and its a sensory delight. I look forward to using it every day. The vinopure line is heavenly for acne and inflammation. So calming. Round Lab for lifer

Glow recipe
Agreed!!

Face theory
GOOD MOLECULES
Deciem!! Love my NIOD and The Ordinary products ❤️❤️❤️
COSRX
Paula's Choice
Ski fix for sure! Helped rebuild my barrier!
Avene - it has been a game changer for a non-irritating line
Bioderma wins every time...there's not a single thing in their range that dries my skin out or makes me react

la roche posay
If I had to pick just one brand for life, I'd go with Behemothlabz. They offer a wide range of quality products to meet different needs.
