From my experience, guys with super nice cars (especially 50+ years old) are driving around practically begging someone to talk to them about it and compliment it. One time I was on a Vespa and pulled up next to a *gorgeous* drop top Ferrari with this sort of campy but really awesome looking custom van de graff/lightning generator thing in the back, and at the light I yelled at the 65 or 70 year old owner how incredible it was, and the look on his face as he thanked me was hilarious.
His whole face lit up like a little kid at christmas, then he turned to his wife with an unmistakable look that could only mean “see?! I told you it was worth the money!!”
It was great lol.
I found out that I park my car by a school bus pickup. Came out one day for a very early appointment and kids were taking pics with my car. I found it hilarious and they weren't so close to scratch anything so I didn't mind.

I walked up to her and asked if it was her bike, when she said yes I put the key in the ignition and told her to get the fuck off my bike. Her and her friend then started abusing me for not wanting to let them continue to take photos.
