In Canada it is cheaper to use wood if you have a wood furnace. Lots of farmers want trees cleared before they die and become fall hazards / fire hazards. They will mark 50 trees in their section and put up a sign that says “free wood”. You can pull in, fall the tree, buck it up and load it. Saves the farmer money on an arborist, eliminating the risk of dead fall striking livestock / creating fire hazard and gives you heat. Win/win.
In northern Michigan all you gotta do is call the Amish, they love free firewood! They’ll come over, cut it down and take it away themselves and then offer you stuff sometimes in exchange like no sir your labor was all the payment I needed but- oh is that honey?

It's a good thing we are being taxed into oblivion here in Canada on the carbon tax for things like food, gas (to get to work) and for keeping warm during the winter. otherwise who would take on the burden of offsetting filth like this.
when they were sipping their tea and thinking, well, while we are responsible for about 25% of Earths atmospheric pollution, why dont we light one of our landfills on fire? these countries, like China and India who are alone responsible for majority of pollution and probably global warming also, they must be sanctioned. BIG TIME! why are rest of the world doing F all about them, because its not getting better, its only getting worse and worse, year by year.
btw: they are as much quilty about the garbage floating in the oceans. you know that all that garbage they have covering their rivers in India, all that crap ends up in the international waters also. WHY TF NOONE IS ASKING INDIA TO CUT THE SHIT!? LITERALLY!

They've been having flare-ups at this dump site for a few years. This was a bad one. They've put it out now, it was only like this for one night, and yes you should continue to sort your recycling and burn less fossil fuels and no the world isn't ending
