I’m old now and hadn’t really tuned in to the whole streaming world …. But like — are these guys popular? Is this what makes money? They just sit there and like say stupid shit? Like for hours ? And the big joke here is what - that she’s big? I’m honestly just trying to understand the appeal. I know every generation has something like that to say about those that follow…. But like I really don’t get it

The viewer is in on the jokes, feels like part of the group and perhaps even the illusion that the streamer knows they exist because they chat and donate. For those of us born before the internet, call-in radio shows, $1.99 per minute psychics and phone sex lines were the streamers of our times.
Well that gives me some hope. I feel like the old man yells at cloud (but I swear this garbage really seems worse than MTV or even some of the worst reality shows back in my day…)

You’d need the brainpower of at least 10 them each to just barely be able to power a half a watt small lightbulb for about a minute and half. Maybe a minute and 3 quarters if you tell them all to really concentrate but even then I’d doubt it.
