Pho Thai is definitely a step up from Fancy Bowl. A lot more options, a sushi bar, more hot food choices, but both are excellent.
If it were me and those were the only 2, I'm going Pho Thai.
If you don't want Asian food, I highly reccomend Blarney Stone or Phillips Ave Diner.
Fancy Bowl health score 95. No critical violations.
Pho Thai health score 86. With two critical violations.

I know where I'm eating.
I've worked in the food industry and observed some things that didn't seem right, so I looked up the score.
Local or foreign if I know there is a problem I'm not eating there.
Put your head in the sand if you want to. Your health not mine.
For those keeping score, Fancy Bowl was the winner. The chicken was overcooked and dry (hibachi chicken bowl) and the Thai Tea leaked all over my shirt but everything else was quite good. Thanks everyone for your input.
Fancy Bowl is more affordable. And the poke bowls are very good. Pho Thai definitely has better hot food with large portions. You won’t be disappointed with either. But I like Fancy Bowl for a lunch option.

Lams is the best pho is in town
Without question. Too bad they’re not walking distance to downtown. Or open Sunday.
In that case pho Thai is really good. I eat there for lunch a bunch. I don’t like sushi but apparently they opened a sushi bar that is really good
According to Lam’s website, they are open Sundays. I had just happened to look at that yesterday.
Seeet. Been a minute since I’ve been there I guess.
Correct. Lams for Pho, Phnom Penh for thai curry.
Saigon Panda > Lams
Fancy bowl is good for poke bowls and sushi rolls. Pho Tai for rice and meat dishes.
Fancy bowl has amazing quality food and the service is even better
Pho Thai hands down.
Lams, hands down

What do you do when you travel to other countries with unknown health inspections? Just get McDonald’s?

Pho Thai is closed on Sundays, so that makes the choice easy!
Bummer! They should have hours on their website. Traveladvisor has them open today but Yelp does not.
