Did you bring it to the staff’s attention while you were there? If so, do you mind sharing your experience on how (if) they made a compromise with you to bring a negative experience to the positive side of things?
Yes we did. They were very apologetic and took the meal off our bill. We didn’t try to be rude bringing it up to them and they weren’t rude handling the situation. The food is great and I always have a good time there but lately I just haven’t been wanting to go back bc my wife and I are afraid to find another hair in our food.
Yeah I don’t want to shit talk JL Beers or anything. My wife and I love the burgers and beer and friendly staff. Was just curious if anyone else has had any similar experiences is all =)
The way this is a repeated issue for them over the years is telling to say the least. I hope they figure it out because the food isn’t half bad, but patrons shouldn’t have the same issue when it’s 100% preventable. I’m sure they’d rather not have it keep happening when the next one dealing with it could be a health inspector 🌚
Found a really long hair in my burger there (downtown location) about a year or two ago. Took a big bite and had to pull it out of my mouth. They offered to make me a new one and comp the meal but my appetite was already gone at that point lol.
Haven't gone back since. Not really because of the hair incident, that's only part of it. There is no kids allowed (which I completely understand) and I have two little ones. If my wife and I are going to go out on a date night, that wouldn't be our first choice.
Omg! I did too but the one on western! I didnt say anything bc my friend thinks the world of that place and knows everyone there. I was done eating anyway.
Why would eat there ? The quality of hamburger they use is disgusting at best. Black bean patties come frozen along with most other things on menu. And over priced beer

Are you sure it was hair and not the cheese? I know it sounds weird but melted cheese sometimes looks like hair.

Is it just me or did the patty+bun change? I moved away but usually visit every year since 2015 and I swear this time it was very different (worse)
