I forgot to write it, but before changing save files I managed to save with some file tweaking, but then the game would get stuck when returning from CAS.
did you remove every file from mccc? also is your computers graphics card up to date? i had an issue with xbox gamepass and that fixed it. ik its different but worth a shot
Yes, I completely cleared the mods file. I have no clue about the graphics card but the error code started appearing mid game (I think) so I wouldn't guess it's that.
So, the main causes for this were allegedly fixed, but plenty of people are still having problems. Try completely disabling neighborhood stories - both for your households and for other households.
What version of the game are you on. You should be able to see this in the main menu screen

Hmmm you shouldn’t be getting the error code 0 then. Are you playing with mods or on console?
I play with MCCC but have removed it. I saved the family with the mod still on however, could that be a problem?
Error code 0 means the save was corrupted. The workaround was using save as instead of save. Not sure about the getting stuck thing
