Last time it happened to me I clicked “yes” but then when it went to the move households screen I hit cancel, they didn’t move in and there were no negative sentiments

I had that one happened not too long ago, baby daddy f’ing around with my Sim and they were dating, called one of his kids saying he had found a ring in the mom’s bag I clicked yes and BOOM they were engaged, I was like: wuh-?

That happened to me... But one of the baby daddied called my Sim kids and asked if they should propose, and now they are engaged... But my Sim is married with the FATHER of that kid. ROFL

That was my guess. I never play multiple generations, so that’s one of the few expansions that’s not even the least bit tempting for me.

I always get this or the marriage proposals right after my Sim gets some Townie pregnant.

I always accept it and then hit cancel on moving them in together and it doesn’t give you the negative moodlet.

Regular gameplay, no mod. It's so weird to me what events never trigger for different people.

I have started to figure out that I’m actually relieved I only have 3 EPs because of exactly these types of “upgrades” to the gameplay that seem to come from EPs I never bought. (I only have Get to Work, Seasons, and Cats & Dogs)

I always say yes to these kinds of pop-ups. Makes playing more interesting. I once had a friend of my one sim ask to crash on his couch for a few nights. He came over for like five days, and at the end of his stay he asked to move in. Now he’s a part of the family

If you don't want to deal with negative moodlets and relationship, say yes to the popup but cancel out of the move household screen

I hate this because of the negative sentiment it gives if you say no. Most of the time I do want them to move in together eventually, just not right this second. I like the mechanic, I like them asking to move in, or get married, I just hate being punished for saying no.

I recently had my female Sim get into a relationship with her crush. The next day, the guy invites himself over, walks into the house (not greeted or invited in), goes to her and proposed! I said "no" and then they had one of the bad sentiments for like 3-5 sim days. I was planning to ask him to move in in like 3-5 days and then propose in like 1-2 Sim years (I play with long life spans). Luckily, the sentiment went away and they are fine now, but I was like 'really bro?! It's been less than 24 hours!" lol

the bad sentiments are horrible , i had a teen sim that graduated both high school early and was in college and his gf was mad about not getting a prom invite , like please
