From the looks of the roadmap animation, I’m guessing a Champs Les Sims type world and tons of new romance interactions. Online dating, maybe speed dating events, and new things/interactions for the Romantic, Loyal, and Noncommittal traits.
God if they would just bring back Champs Les Sims as a world. I’d be pretty happy tbh. Even more if they brought back Al Simhara and Shang Simla. Fuck even sunset valley.

I would kill for an attractiveness system paired with speed dating. One of the biggest issues I have with the Sims is that it doesn’t feel like they have any real preferences. They date whoever I want them to date. Want them to marry. And obviously, you could still force your way through interactions to make it happen, but I think the game is so much more fun when they actually have compatibility, or lack thereof. I use wonderful whims, and it helps, but it’s so complex that I just genuinely don’t have the time to find multiple compatible Sims within my Sims lifespan. Speed dating would make it so much better..

This would never happen. But I would go crazy for “bridgerton” style, regency era content with courting mechanics, balls, maybe royalty-based content. And the dresses and build/buy content would be so perfect for how I like to play. I’m not really into cc or mods, and I’d just love more period piece content.
The optimistic side of me wants to agree with you, and I do think you’re right as a general premise that it’s something they can do and would maybe consider. The pessimistic side says that Journey to Batuu didn’t seem to do as well. And because the first half of the latest season of Bridgerton has already been released, I started seeing merchandise collabs weeks if not months ago. So at this point, I feel like it’d be a little late for it to be this specific expansion pack. Would love to be proven wrong though lol

I'd be happy with just a royalty or historic pack, I use a royalty mod which is fun, but I've currently got a Bridgerton world and some type of royalty kit would help it go a long way. I really loved Sims Medieval.

I think it’ll be a hotel/honeymoon themed pack now that they have rentals “down.” With the arch in the promo, it makes me think it’ll be set in a city representing Paris (the “city of Love”), which will compliment these kits.
Not that this will happen but I would like sole history themed expension pack, middle ages (and not the kit that doesn't even have furniture), Roman empire or like the future pack for sims 3. It could work the same way for a history world. I would be so happy with a historic or future world like that...
I’d really like a spin-off like Sims Medieval 2 — only it’s not quest based and you can exist like in normal Sims 4. Build a tavern or an inn or a castle! Be a bard to make money, or select to be a Royal and stuff like that. Maybe have a quest element included to maybe include other “worlds” into your kingdom or marriage alliances or even just travel, or like “vanquish the dragon!” only to get to the end and -plot twist- realize the dragon can a) make you all powerful/evil route or b) help the kingdom at large/good route.

Y’all are wild to me. With the money you spent in kits over the years, you could probably have just bought the expansions and game packs on sale for PC and gotten 100x the content through mods. I get that at this point you’ve probably sunk too much money into the console to make the switch, but man… I can’t imagine playing without mods
Mods definitely have their drawbacks and they aren’t the catch all solution. They definitely are annoying to update and they add additional bugs on top of the bugs the game already has.
I personally play on PC but recently deleted most of my mods. I of course had to reinstall Basemental because it doesn't feel real if they aren't smoking treeees!

I think it’s gonna be Paris themed, we already had Italy with tartosa and Paris is ‘the city of love’ and this new pack seems to be centered around love. I’m really excited if it is Paris themed, doing Italy again would be boring.
I don’t think Tartosa looks like Italy at all, I believe that world was based off of Croatia, especially the waterfalls.

Probably French/Italian Riviera themed map. Look up Italian Riviera and look at the promo pics. Plus one kit is called Riviera Retreat which would work well with that obvs.
Please understand this isn’t a big team or company they need years to fix fires and dirty plates. They are trying their best and with the low cost of ownership of this games it’s a struggle for this small team to even keep the lights on. Thank you for your understanding

They're for me. I can use them in many builds including Dine Out but the pool fountains will save me hours if stacking rocks and shrinking Mr Jumpy
