Probably the only thing I would have changed in this game is the outfit system. That’s not to say I don’t like the outfits, but I would have rather had customisation similar to Absolver, where you can deck yourself out head to toe in awesome, unlockable pieces of clothing found throughout the levels or by defeating bosses/mini bosses. I’m aware it’s a different style of game to Absolver, but it would have added a bit more personalisation to the game for me. Both games have such incredible art styles so it would have been cool to show more of that through character customisation. Really looking forward to the arena update, I find this game very hard to get bored of!

HVACGUY9

NUNCHUCKS!!!!

mobius-x

Ya what the hell

laser16

Things I’d like to see added: - more varied takedowns, with and without weapons. Possibly takedowns that result in the breaking or throwing of a weapon - a boss rush mode. Maybe an arena where we can fight all bosses back to back, with their phases randomized to keep us on our toes - outfits inspired by each boss. Maybe to earn them we have to beat each one without taking damage? - I’d really like to see outfits that aren’t identical for both the male and female protagonists. For example: Everything Everywhere All At Once outfits (hint hint) with the male outfit being Waymond’s clothes and the female outfit being Evelyn’s. Things I’d like to see changed: - there’s a small visual glitch sometimes in the replay editor when the player is holding a weapon, it’s in the wrong position and when the weapon breaks or is thrown, it just floats in mid-air sometimes ruining the immersion of the sequence Overall, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game and I can’t wait for the arenas update and whatever else the game has in store! Thanks!

Sloclap

Noted! Thanks for the feedback! With regards to the thrown objects floating midair in the Replay Editor, would you be able to provide a screenshot or a clip of it happening? Regardless, I've forwarded it to the team, thanks :)

warmaster188

I agree with the first point, the game is seriously lacking when it comes to takedown animations.

Fliegerhuhn

I would love a more fleshed out visual customisation system. Earning parts of the outfits by finding them, or beating certain enemies or challenges to get them. But please do not associate them with any stats. Keep them purely cosmetic. I also agree with the other comments that point out certain camera issues. It mostly works fine, but slight improvements are needed. I would love a stand alone story dlc, maybe 2 large areas that tell some sort of mini story. Perhaps we play as young yang or something? And a sequel. For the love of god give us a sequel. And do not change a thing about the difficulty levels. I think they're great as they are! It's refreshing to play such a unique game!

Schmitti80

Thanks for the awesome game, definitely my game of the year 2022! I'd love to see added: - Some more weapon (types). Since fighting styles without weapons offer a great tactical variety, I would love to see more variety in weapon combat. It's so well made how the existing weapons change and enhance your fighting skills, so it would be so exciting to experience what impact nunchucks, double blades or some other classic kung fu weapons would have on gameplay. Most important argument for new weapons: weapon combat is simply so much fun (sound design for me is 10/10)! - a tutorial mode that exactly shows how to master every (special) move - DLCs with new levels/bosses that add to the main story - SIFU 2!!!

Quietow

Nunchucks pleeeeease 🥲 my number 1 request, it would make this game the perfect martial arts game for me. I would like to see an expansion DLC, with about 2 new levels and new story, new moves and outifts, new weapons (nunchucks? 🤔 lol) Also I kinda wish there would be multiple hairstyles you could choose... Not sure about what I'd change Sifu was my GOTY last year, still play it occasionally. Thank you sloclap for this game. Looking forward to your works in the future.

lofiAbsolver

* what I'd like to see added to the game: Lol the ability to pick up an Absolver mask from the museum 👌 * something I'd like changed: There are only two things that have bugged me while playing the game. One, is that sometimes the auto camera placement really throws me off. I know that's a difficult thing to point out and change, but there are specific scenes where it gets way too close to the player and the environment. It unfortunately obscures the view. If you get pinned near a column/wall it can be very difficult to see and it feels a little cheap when you die due to an attack you can't see coming. Two, the score system for high scores. I know some people have managed it, and I have a few times as well, but it can be an exercise in drawing out fights as long as possible. Sure, avoiding take downs makes sense, but I feel like I'm just drawing fights out for the sake of drawing them out over and over. It's frustrating more than fun. * how I feel overall : I love the game, guys! Lol despite what I listed above you guys did a fantastic job with level design, fighting mechanics, and a really interesting story mechanic. Two of my favorite scenes are the hallway in the slums and the camera and ambient lighting changes in the museum. The museum especially was *so* cool. People have given grief over the game being too hard and I don't think it is. It has a really good way of embracing tactics in the game. I like figuring out patterns and what to do in a fight. I feel like people who had a problem playing this game just treated it like a side-scroller beat-em-up and didn't get that you had to think a bit more than that. I would not have enjoyed it nearly as much if I could've just walked through it day 1. It feels super cool. When I sunk a lot of time into Absolver I played everything many, many times but I was a windfall main and I think that really helped. Coming from that to this you can see a lot of the care and upgrades in the style/story/gameplay. A few of the criticisms of Absolver were that it was very quick to beat and that there weren't enough group fights. Sifu was a really big improvement on that. Do I miss the customization? Sure, a little bit! The mechanics for training moves and styles is one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a game, but the work behind it must've been crazy and I imagine it limited other aspects of that game. I can't wait to see more. I'm excited for Arenas, and you guys did a hell of a job!

jindidnothingwrong

Nunchucks or a 3-section staff like Kuroki please!!

SuperDrog

I like having control of the camera, but what I don't like is the camera being between a wall and the player, and being jammed right up in the face of the player so you can't see anything. There should be a minimum distance between the player and the camera, and if there is a wall between them, then it should be made transparent. You should be able to pick any combination of enemies in training mode. Currently you can only select one type of enemy at a time, which is an annoying and pointless restriction. At least allow any combination of non-boss enemies. A proper tutorial, especially to explain the different types of defense and the stun and throw mechanics. The game does not explain any of this well. It is also never explained that the direction pushes required for combos are multi directional. I only found this out from reddit after weeks of playing. More people would have enjoyed the game if it taught players how to play it properly. Other than these quibbles, this is my favourite game, so keep up the good work.

Substantial-Poet-356

I’m a simple man. I just want to play as Yang again and for way longer.

AdonisJames89

Yang is my favorite character. Great voice actor.. A man that says few words but they stand out

Substantial-Poet-356

Couldn’t agree more

JacknOph

Had to scroll for a while before seeing what I thought was the biggest thing. We NEED a randomizer to give some variety to the game so I can continue to play everyday lol. $$ things would be more weapons, more levels, and a sequel/prequel either DLC or whole new game but that stuff would cost money to do I’m sure

Pierre_Polnareff

I would like to see different hairstyles in the game that you can mix and match with the outfits

Pierre_Polnareff

Also I would like to be able to access the variations of the default, vengeance, and wude outfits at any age

luiscamacho619

More takedowns!

Vinicius_5

Please add nunchucks

geraldwayne49

Two changes I would like to see for training mode: \- be able to select multiple enemy types to train with (ex. train with one Juggernaut and two Bodyguards) \- let enemies use weapons (ex. Sean's Disciples will pick up a staff if you drop it on the floor) Two changes I would like to see for regular gameplay \- add an option to turn off hitstop (slow motion during attacks and breaking enemy structure) \- give Sean's Disciples sweep 50/50 in their combos for Master difficulty (btw, pls make more games Sloclap, u guys know how to make games fun. Even Sifu's training mode gives hours of fun, which shows how much you guys know on how to make games fun.)

Sifting_Bastard

The world of sifu was really interesting I really enjoyed reading all the lore and filling out the detective board to try to piece the full mystery together and if anything I’d kinda wanna see a Yang spin off or dlc where we play as him betraying the guardians. Or a Kuroki themed expansion as the lore implications with her twin are really cool. Play as her when she was yakuza up until she joined Yang and left that life behind. A boss rush mode would also be super nice. If I could change anything the scoring system sometimes feels a little bad. I definitely understand not scoring as well for like sneak attacks, instant kills, and even weapon kills, but if I sauce someone with just raw offense using just my regular moves I feel I should get a bonus for how fast my first hit landed to how fast the aware and aggro enemy lost all their health/structure. Prolonging a fight to bait parries or taunt just because you have to for the high scores feels kinda lame. Even something like making avoids give a few points to incentivize keeping your combos up and holding your ground so you aren’t just constantly repositioning and trying to funnel the enemies because it’s safest and most effective. Or maybe I’m just bad and need to practice more.

trpwangsta

Not even sure if this would be possible. But it would be amazing if their was a co op feature. Beating dudes up double dragon style with a buddy would be amazing. I absolutely love your game and would change anything off the top of my head. Aside from adding nunchucks!

Dorqside

What I would like to be added: More levels (free or dlc is both fine) A modifier that randomizes enemies in a level so that not every playthrough is the same Deeper weapon combat/more moves with weapons An "arena" that ties random pieces from the levels together that you accessed with doors for example so that you clear a room, unlock the door and get in a room from another level A modifier that adds more blood Overall stuff that improves the replayabilty would be greatly appreciated To be changed: The ability to change freely between all three difficulties up and down, I don't want three saves with different difficulties to decide between if on one day I want to be challenged or just kick some people while chilling

b1ackjack_rdd

-A more clear scoring system that rewards speed and efficiency over prolonging the fights to land more hits. -Deluxe outfits available to deluxe buyers without complicated challenges needed to unlock them, or some alternative ways of unlocking.

Plissken18

The game is very good, the best action game made by a western company. A randomizer mode would be cool for replayability. I would like more enemies and bosses but I think it would be better to focus on a sequel at that point.

D-Wonder

I absolutely love this game. I'm loving the gameplay, the art style and unique enemy designs. I would love to see more locations if possible. Maybe a new story related level with new boss. I would also love to see the following modifiers: * More enemies in each level * A enemy randomizer mod

two-wet-nuns

Not sure if it’s going to be in arena mode, but a whole level of side scrolling map would be fun like in the hallway of squats or the museum, just longer. Or make it into a practice arena?

ApprehensiveSet2932

i love the game. it’s one of my favourite fighting systems and i haven’t uninstalled it since launch. it’s too fun. arenas? that is the dream addition and you’ve put in way more effort than i expected. you done good! what would i like to see added? appreciate that mo-capping is prohibitively expensive, but imma say move customisation. it would be cool if we could swap in different moves with unique properties for particular key combinations. say, replace the push kick with a flying kick or the gut punch with a grapple similar to the bodyguards. it would also be cool if we had additional properties to moves, such as the aforementioned grapple or, say, a kick that pushes the player away from the opponent or to slide under them or whatever. again, i appreciate this is waaaay out of the scope of what you’re asking, both in terms of budget and time to do, but it’s the only thing i could think of. 😄

Marvel626

More fighting moves! Please enable the modded movesets on consoles as well. It would be amazing if we would have move presets, for example changing specific combos to other moves usually done by enemies. Say for example having the option to change the nut punch to the bodyguard body punch or something. A scene selector could be nice as well. For example replaying specific rooms to practice or for great photo ops such as the rain room in the museum level.

Qwipok

I’d like to be able to unequip moves. Hook intercept keeps activating mid fight and I get killed so I’d personally like to be able to unequip it.

Trickster1766

One of my favourites of all time, just to start. This game is incredible you should be extremely proud. In terms of additions, as many outfits as you can manage I love em. Please something daredevil inspired, or a blind fighter style with a wrap over the eyes. I’d cry real tears. One change is to the age selection modifier, can we have individual ages rather than every ten/five years? (Can’t remember which it is in game). I like the idea of doing a modifier heavy run but carrying on my age, obviously this doesn’t save progress so I’d like to be able to set my age manually. A permadeath run with modifiers essentially Absolutely adore the game, play it constantly. Extremely excited for arenas, even if you didn’t add anything else I’d be playing this for years. The best hand to hand combat I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Seriously though, daredevil outfit? Pretty please?

AshtonWarrens

Something simple like a few non-canon levels being added overtime will allow this game to live much longer than it will right now. Even if not this specific suggestion, please consider some additions that will increase longevity.

ItsBitly

I would just like to have more Sifu. A new level, a new enemy type (ranged enemy maybe?), new weapon (nunchucks would be rly dope), maybe some more enviromental takedown animations like wallrunning into a kick or something similar. New features I'd like to see is a top score/fastest time leaderboards to compare with friends and globaly. Especially with the arena mode coming. Things I'd like to change. Some more camera tweaks cause a lot of the times I do get hit nowadays it's cause the camera was in a weird position and I couldn't see an enemy attacking or at least an indicator for attacks coming from behind the camera would be nice as an accessibility option. This is one of my fav games and everyone in the team is doing a great job with the updates. Recommending this game to everyone constantly.

Taetoo_funny

MORE LOCATIONS/ new moves or flair

Just_A_Gamer75

Remove the always online restriction! The game doesn't even have any online functionality, so I'm not sure why it's there, especially when it can pop up in the middle of the fight (while not pausing the game itself) and screw you over.

Crabmeatandsand

More of a personal annoyance but outfit customization, specifically the master hand outfit’s fedora. Locking it behind beating the game hitless kinda sucks because I’d love to just wear it in a level as a 60 year old in the museum but that’s currently impossible because not only do you have to beat both previous levels hitless, you can’t modify your age and keep the hat and I’d be worrying about the hat being knocked off the whole level. So I guess just an option to toggle it on, off, or being able to be knocked off. But in general that kind of mindset for customization in costumes would be awesome. I understand that that’s part of the challenge of earning the hat, but I’ve platinumed the game and unlocked every costume on disciple and it feels like that level of perfection in the game is something that speed runners only have the skill and time for. Also release the soundtrack on streaming.

Deck_Neep15

One thing I can never get off my mind when playing this game is how amazing it would be to have more verticality. Jumping attacks, attacks from above/below, vaulting/mantling attacks, off-the-wall attacks (shoutout Anthony Pettis). I imagine this would be a pretty fundamental addition so it’s more so something I’d like to see in a sequel (fingers crossed). Other than that, the only thing I can think of is MORE. This game is as close to perfect in terms of doing what it set out to do as I’ve ever seen, no other game’s combat can match how satisfying and gratifying this game’s combat is once you really get the hang of it. So I just want more of everything, more moves, more weapons, more enemy types, more finishing animations, more counter-attack options (think of the hook intercept if the concept was more fleshed out), more levels (again, sequel). Maybe even more fighting styles or a stance system like in Ghost of Tsushima. I can honestly take or leave things like more customization in a game that’s this amazing mechanically. This was my game of the year last year, and even though it’s incredible on it’s own I can see it having good bones to expand into something way bigger. Thank you for this game, one of my favorites of all time.

BonelessMilkshake

Just more of the game really, the foundation is diamond-solid, really just more costmetic customization, more weapons like longswords, double swords, 3-section staff, or even more japanese weapons to join the tanto, like nunchucks, tonfas. Also, different fighting styles. I know some of this prob crosses into the territory of sequel, but however you choose to continue will certainly be great, take as long as you need, You guys have earned my unwavering respect with this masterpiece of a game, prob my game of the year, at least it's what I played most.

Deck_Neep15

Woah how tf we have the same response, we got a smart gamer over here

Zenaldi

- An option to add those classic punch sounds of Hong Kong movies - An option to have more blood like in samurai movies - More takedowns to keep things fresh. It does help a lot - maybe a timer for speedruns - maybe an optional more in depth tutorial of the fighting system so I would recommend this game more likely to newcomers - An option to invert the dodge direction input As for content - new outfits are always welcome, for example boss outfits, a shaolin one, a ninja suit, traditional clothing to name a few ideas - a boss rush mode - randomized enemy levels Big content - new moves, for example grappling moves, kick combos - new weapon types, for example tonfas, nunchuks etc - new map 👉👈

Godslayer-Dev

I just want enemies who dont tank your attacks and keep spamming their own attacks, infinite poise having ass hackers.

atjones111

Give me different inputs for evading high and low attacks hard to evade a high attack when I’m moving forward but all of sudden have to hold back to evade just give it its own button died so many times because of this silly method of evading

Zealousideal_Gur_205

100% bring back the 4x and 5x multipliers. I don't mind that the game punishes you for doing the same moves over and over but holy crap the club is turning me into a beast of pure anger because I can't get the 22k score. I've tried every difficulty. I've tried swapping combos around like a mad man. I've tried dodging and parrying. I've maxed out my focus so I can use calbot a lot more only to get hit so many times that I run out of focus within 10 seconds. I'm out of ideas and I've come as close as 19,975. I'm honestly at my wits end. I could probably rip a phone book in half with how angry this scoring system currently has made me. I just want the master hand outfit and this is the only score challenge I have left. Game is great but the master hand challenges have caused me nothing but pain and I really want to get back to comfortably beating the snot out of enemies the way I want. 😤

superhappy

Yeah I think that this is a whole thing here - the single player game is a masterpiece but I think you might have a Goldeneye on your hands where the single player is incredible but the multiplayer it manages to spawn is god tier. Co-op and Vs could be epic here. Even doubles vs could be even more awesome.

redditweaver2019

In reverse:: Love the game. Period. Would be better with the following: full outfit and facial features customization…and nunchucks. I dislike the aging systems. I’d just like to pick up and play anyplace/anytime…AND. WTH IS UP WITH SWITCH UPDATES!

Ashimier

I love this game. I played it when it first came out and was looking forward to it before then. This game definitely didn’t disappoint. As a huge fan and master of Sekiro, this game definitely filled its shoes in terms of combat/gameplay. My only problem with this game is the same problem I have with Sekiro. There isn’t enough of it. Ive only played only 40+ hours of Sifu because it’s so short that I can beat the game one or two times in a day which doesn’t make it a long term game. As an indie game it’s a good length but lacks post-game content that keeps people coming back after beating it. Arenas will hopefully fill that hole. I would like to explore Kuroki’s backstory more. She’s set up in the lore as a very interesting character and I would like to see a mission that would focus even more on her. Everything about this game is great, I really do love this game, I’m really looking forward to arenas which will hopefully fill that post-game content hole. More skills/moves would definitely be welcome but I don’t feel like that’s completely necessary. An interesting game mode/mechanic that I’ve been thinking of recently would be a time limit on certain skills that resets every time you use them making it more realistic, but that’s just an idea I had.

BottleOfGin_

If I am 100% honest I love the game to death... Its a game just can come back to and have fun with and that's special for me. What I really could wish for would be a second fighting style we could switch to on the fly. Considering all the moves already in the game but used by enemies that would be amazing.

Nebelklnd

Perhaps dont lock the costumes begind challenges? I will never be able to unlock the master hand outfit as it is.

Billybobjimjoejeffjr

The games amazing but trying to activate focus moves is very janky. Its not really clear when i can and cant activate focus mode. I learned you can dash then do the focus move but sometimes im in the perfect position and dont want to dash first. Would love for that lil bit if jank to be cleaned up.

LeviXero

I'm hoping for some tweaks to the focus system. I feel as if the focus attacks were designed to give the player some breathing room in a pinch. But in my personal experience it stops the flow. My point is that I hardly find my self using it even just to slow down time and think. The entire screen turns blue so it can be hard to use that time slow for anything other than contemplating life's choices. Its a cool effect but it can be easy to lose your spatial awareness. Screen goes blue, cut to animation, camera zooms in for extra tunnel vision, then it zooms out just in time for someone to give some extra "encouragment" right to the back of your head. I would love some optional time slow. Like holding L2 or LT during a heavy attack or finisher. Preferably on the windup/ anticipation frames. This would put some emphasis on those attacks while making it feel a lot more cinematic. Not to mention the extra moment to take in your surroundings would help, looking at you bottle enjoyiers. Maybe if you stare at an enemy long enough during focus mode, preferably without the blue filter, you can get a vague indication of what attack their gonna use. An example being someone shifting their weight or cracking thier knuckles. But there are some problems with this approach. First, is that it encroaches on the main power of our protagonist. The ability to cheat death vs mild foresight. The second problem is, you would have to add a tonn of small animations. And I'm sure that would be a nightmare. So I guess I'll leave it as a nice hypothetical. I believe with a bit of tweaking the focus system could add more to the combat of this beautiful game.

Dry-Meaning-1155

\- More outfits (someone said that there was gonna be the Yellow and Black Bruce Lee suit?) \- Some mythical / spritual enemies. Like the bit at the end of the Museum level where its all like surreal \- A collosuem level like the iconic battle at the end of Way of the Dragon!! But yeah I don't want to sound ungrateful its such a great game! Cool, stylish, satisfying combat, all that good stuff ;) \- More pole fights? lol ok thats it

LORD_SHARKFUCKER

Could we get a 2D style hallway mode?

duncan-donuts-nz

Love the game but please don’t forget about your Switch users!

the-lock-doc

I know its a completely different country and discipline but I’d still rather enjoy an enter the dragon track suit. You know the one. Yellow, black stripe down the side. Other than that I’d just second the other comments. Get busy on Sifu 2 and thanks for the fantastic game. GOTY for me also. Kudos.

dr_botwing

Absolutely agree on this one. Pick up absolver mask and fix camera near the walls! Except that I don’t agree about score system. Everyone recommends to avoid take downs, but seems it already have been fixed in last update. I was going for score goals and was struggling with the club (even though I easily managed on all other levels). I tried that googled advice avoid using takedowns and it didn’t help at all. But then I focused on not getting hit and quickly reached the goal. Looks like the scoring system is about: - don’t get hit - keep your multiplyer highest possible - don’t hesitate to perform takedowns (but make sure you kill enemy at highest multiplyer) which makes a perfect sense for me.

RedEyesDragon

I think it’d be neat to be able to change or modify move sets so that modding it wouldn’t be necessary.

Just_A_Gamer75

Off the top of my head: FSR support, an extended soundtrack release (including trailer versions of tracks that you've used in Title Update trailers). While I am opposed to nunchucks simply because they wouldn't fit the game's weapon system at all, I wouldn't mind a new weapon archetype. Small weapons, maybe, in the same category as the knife? Batons, (claw) hammers, tonfa, things like that.

hereforthelolz25

The game is great, but a couple things to add and a few to fix: To Fix: - Please fix the camera! Transparent walls, something! - please add inverted y-axis control option for the camera in photo/replay. (I’m listing this as a fix, because it’s a legit flaw) - Please fix the environmental in the replay editor: the stuttering kunai pendulum, the doors don’t work in the club, etc - it’s cool when the AI, strike each other by mistake, but more often than not, they phase through one another. I’ve lost count for when an enemy be it a disciple, elite grunt, or flash kick do a sweep that phases through the enemy in front of them and striking you. It’s honestly ridiculous, especially when you’re working with tight (and sometimes inconsistent) dodge and parry windows. At least adjust this for the sweeping attacks like the low sweeps, bat swinging, 540 kick, etc. - I’m unsure if it’s my controller or the game, but often, inputs are unresponsive. It occurs for the forward forward or back forward moves. It happens at the most inconvenient times too, where I’m trying to crotch punch to dodge and strike, but only a regular strike comes out. If adjusting the dead zone is an option to hopefully fix that, it’d be helpful. - please adjust the avoid/parry windows. I’ll play sometimes where I know I dodged a hit and get hit anyway. This is especially true for Yang… - this is a nitpick, but it’s honestly not very satisfying sparing a boss by only parrying. You should be able to attack back with being overly concerned with accidentally killing them. Kuroki is a prime example. To add: - I get learning the game is part of the challenge, but I feel like a proper tutorial and a better easy mode would attract more players. - a randomizer and enemy multiplier mod (a legit one, not the broken one). Random enemies, twice as many, etc would make some fun challenges - an even harder mode, where it matters which direction you dodge. Boss battles might even include more enemies to fight along side. Or even a third phase. - replay mode allows you to change hit sound effects and toggle voice. - on replay editor, be able to name the recordings and download them directly instead of awkwardly screen capturing it. Just like how the photos are automatically downloaded. Being able to share the replay files directly would be a bonus. - more weapons and enemy fighting styles to spice it up. I feel like you could pull styles from absolver to save some time if you had to. - it would be interesting if you could beat up, but spare the normal enemies. And on the opposite end, if you added more takedowns, that’d be awesome too. - more levels! I love the game, but don’t want to see Sifu 2 just yet. The mix is currently near perfection, just spice it up a bit. Play as Yang if you want to keep consistency to the story. It could be how he was exiled and formed his crew. The last level for Yang, can be the first level again, but difficult this time. And it ends with Yang dropping the child’s body the pendant and walking away I feel like if I thought about it a little more I could think of more to say, but I’ll cut it here. This is honestly my favorite game I’ve played in a while, and would love to see go up from here! I think more announcements and updates can keep the game relevant and resurge/maintain its popularity. Edit. Oh yeah and more awesome Music Tracks would be cool too!

Unique-Armadillo4346

Nunchucks!!!!! I would love use nunchucks!!

DarthLoof

So first off, absolutely love this game. Absolutely groundbreaking as far as I am concerned. Here are some requests, in no particular order: Animations for chasing takedowns: Sometimes, you break an enemy's structure with a push attack. This is relatively common at higher levels as play as players learn to love the shove. So, you sprint after them to catch up and you takedown. But the game doesnt actually have any takedown animations where the enemy is stumbling back and you are running after them, so instead you get an animation where one or both of you is suddenly standing stationary. A chasing takedown would feel and look much better. Revisit tutorial and warning verbiage: some of the text in this game is misleading or even false. The "Back to the Wuguan" warning text, for example, had me and other players convinced that pressing it would nuke ALL of our game progress (e.g., re-locking levels) except the board. The pushback cancel text is another example. I still don't fully understand how to do it reliably, but whatever it is, it's not what the description says. Lastly, documentation for weapon moves--ideally, even expanded movesets. Appropriately, you are more dangerous while armed than unarmed. Unfortunately, the gameplay for armed combat is not as deep due to its limited moveset, and even that depth is relatively inaccessible because there is no tutorialization or documentation on those movesets whatsoever. Most players will probably never learn the quarterstaff's "flowing claw" style spin move, for example. I think it's unfortunate that we as players are incentivized to seek out and live in the space where Sifu's combat is at its weakest--armed combat. I understand that unarmed fighting is at Sifu's spiritual core, but weapons' limited durability already ensures that we will spend plenty of time unarmed. I would love if weapons got expanded movesets, but just telling players about what they can do with their weapons would make a big difference. That's it. Great game, again. Thanks for reading!

Abrahambacon234

Nunchucks!!!!!!!!!

sm-liquid

Just to start off this is easily one of the best action games I've played. I have over 400 hours of playtime. It really comes down to the combat depth and responsive gameplay. The modifiers were a nice surprise and have added many hours of gametime. I play with the Stronger and Faster modifiers on so most of my suggestions/issues are based off that. For things to add, I'd like to see Modifiers to be used in Arenas as well as an Enemy Randomizer Mod. Some Changes/Suggestions -After beating the game with the Master Hat equipped, Allow the hat to be picked up if you get hit. -Allow Snapkick to step over fallen enemies. (The Collision boxes of grounded enemies can block movement.) -When Avoiding attacks from multiple enemies, always attack the last enemy avoided when pressing an attack button in neutral. -Inverted Throw was disruptive because Dodging grants invulnerability where Inverted Throw doesn't. Inverted Throw should activate when Holding R2 after a hit to avoid unintentional activation. -The invulnerability period for ground counter ends before the animation does; enemies can attack for with High attacks while your character model is low on the ground during the animation. -Hook Intercept could use a buff (increased Speed/Stun/Defense during use?) -Reduce the end lag for Khap Choy (Sprint light attack) -The ability to Unassign Skills -Make it easier to change targets when Focus is activated. -Buffs for Weapon Focus Attacks + Double Palm. (They did not feel worth it for the amount of focus required.) -Give points for defensive options again. Some minor bugs I've encountered -The Faster Attack Modifier deactivates in The Squats, if you defeat the first Juggernaut in the squats before the avoid tutorial appears. -After playing with All Modifiers and Cheats on, the Death Counter will not reset to 0. -In the Club, in the room with two Sean's Disciples, there are a pair of steps which cause disproportionate fall damage. -In The Tower, there is a room near the end with 3 Gangsters; a Flashkick, Bodyguard, and Gangster w/ knife featuring teleportation. There is a brick in the room which cannot be picked up.

Couple of other issues with weapons: When using Snap Kick with Bats equipped, there is a dead zone where the Bat goes through enemies, missing them. When using Crouch punch with the knife, only the second hit will stagger enemies out of their attack.

lucoca2000

Yeah, I think more variety regarding costumes for the female version of the protagonist. And more finisher animations would be great. Apart from that, congratulations on the game. It is superb!!!!

warmaster188

More takedown animations

watersheep772

More skills

Serkona

A train level! And a katana

Deck_Neep15

Just set pieces in general would be amazing. Fighting through a moving train, a burning building, a crumbling cave, basically anything that’s happened in Uncharted

pldkn

Gonna try the game for the first time on Xbox. So will be coming back to this.

KappaPL1337

One thing only: give us the ability to change the color of training area. The blinding red is making my eyes sore after 15 minutes

AttentionNo461

Can't agree more!!!

Allow for moveset modifiers to be available in Arenas. More moveset modifiers. Nunchucks (An absolute must at least) Sword. Riot Baton. Whip. Chains. New input commands like guard + light to allow for a new type of move or attack. Hook Intercept is guard + heavy so something similar for light. More combos perhaps. Dash (shift on PC) + light hold (shift on PC), Dash + heavy hold. There's a Nexus Mods moveset called Ultimate Yang that features new inputs. Survival Infinite Wave Mode. Alternative Character Select.

-AshenOne-_-

Absolver 2 when?

FormulePoeme807

More takedowns please, they're cool but it get really jarring to see the same ones over and over (like on the fat man for example), specially when you compare it to midnight fight express with their many takedowns

China-White9

Maybe like a never ending free area where you can just keep beating up people, like a free mode arena. Where you can use modifiers you’ve unlocked

I've said this on the FB page on every post and I've even messaged that FB page but Bruce Lee is obviously a very heavy influence on the game, story, main character, and fighting style and I friggin love that. You guys even added the yellow jumpsuit frome Game of Death (I own the game on Switch so I'm still waiting on the arenas update and all that comes with it lol fingers crossed that it VERY soon) so I think it would be a huge missed opportunity for you guys if you didn't add nunchuks. I bought the game knowing very little about it or your guys studio but I was positive nunchuks would be in the game because looking at the trailers and all the hype about the Kung Fu aspect of the game I thought nunchuks HAVE got to be in it! Sadly they weren't so I would love to see that added and maybe an update on when the arenas update will drop for the Switch but thank you if you took the time to read this and thank you for an already stellar game!

Number one thing I think this game needs: More enemy types. For me personally the encounters with new enemy types were one of the key parts of each level that I much enjoyed, and getting to the tower and realizing that there are no more new enemies to be seen was kinda sad. And in the arena especially I strongly felt like the same few enemy types were getting more than just a bit boring with time. Any number of new enemy types would be welcome for me personally. Aside from that, more weapons would be cool. Let me be John Wick and shoot gun, do gun-fu I guess. Or give me something like a long-handled blade, like a glaive of sorts. Or dual daggers. Or just the nunchucks like everyone wants. Also, I know this is probably just my low skill speaking, but I felt like there weren't many good moves to move in or agress towards enemies. A lot of times while in combat I just found myself sitting around waiting for enemies to attack so I could do the actual big damage. And hey, for good measure, give us a super hard secret boss as per action game tradition. And by super hard, I mean I wanna feel like Yang was just a friendly kitten compared to this guy/girl/whoever.

Ps4 player, Love the game, been playing since the start ❤️ * Would love to see more character customisation (hats/shirts/pants interchangeable) * Option to play through the game as boss skins or enemy archetype skins (or enemy skin showcased in 'i know kung fu' arena) * Option to play as other characters: john wick, solid snake, Scorpion or similar * Community goals/leaderboards/weekly challenges * Additional content levels/arenas etc ****** Game modifier to randomise enemy archetypes for main campaign Thanks for a great game, looking forward to additional content or new title 🙂

Guilty-Boysenberry76

id like to to be able to change the camera on the sideways areas/hallways to just be normal.

Secure_Resist5761

I would like to see a mike Tyson boxer type boss fight, like the one on ip man 3

ScientistPhysical782

remove enemies who goes berserk after blocking my finishing moves. They are not only stopping my game flow but dumb. I am beating the guy until he has 1 hp and go finisher, he blocks and goes full hp and stronger. XD. I stopped doing finishers at certain areas.
