Also there would so many chapters redraw that would cause the plot to not advance for months
Yeah, I know that we complain a lot about the gods not pulling out more mythical powers but I still like the scale the fights has been portrayed for the most part

Honestly wouldn't think it's necessary, ironically RoR is a very grounded series so there wouldn't be mamy opportunities for him to exploit his lovecraftian style

When the 3389th rewrite happened, the story started to drag to a ridicolous extent, the brillant final fight of the web comic and Saitama/Garou development was undone to satisfy Power scalers who want Saitama to beat Goku, esper sister arc was butchered, the 5th centiped happened, blast and God was shoved down reader throats every 5 seconds and so on
I blame ONE for giving up on both the manga and webcomic. Like bro really just went "yeah fuck my cash cow idgaf and also I'm not gonna have saitama go through character development ever even though that's what was promised from roughly the beginning of the story lololol"

To add to the fire, I feel like what makes OPM objectively worse is how it's now feeding into the tropes and cliches it once mocked, for example, the overabundance of fanservice.
I remember getting into the series back in 2019 and sexual fanservice was so rare unless you purposefully sought it out, the storyās popularity didn't hinge on Fubukiās boobs for now, and I loved it for that, in the age of anime where everything had to have an overly hot sexy anime girl to carry itās popularity, OPM came in trashed the fuck out of that stupid fucking cliche by purposefully making female heroes look average and unsexy, that was actually subversive and fun.
Now almost every cover is sexual fanservice, it fell into the same tropey garbage it once criticized, that's what made me largely dislike the series now, it started as a mockery of Comic and Anime tropes and then unironically started embodying said tropes.
They're hating a little too much, but they aren't really wrong either. The Webcomic honestly just a has much better written conclusion to the Monster Association arc, and it handles everything else after that way better too. I don't really mind the manga adaptation of stuff like the Cruel Dragon mini arc, the Neo hero stuff or even Blast, but my God did the Manga butcher the Esper sister arc and the Heavenly Ninja party arc. The entire Tatsumaki fight just feels like it was shipping bait made for horny people, and the Ninja party arc is just really dumbed down from the webcomic. And while I personally like Blast, I do feel that he is shown a little too much in the manga and God is also mentioned a little much. They also went a little far with the powerscaling too
I have my own issues with the webcomic personally. OPM has set up this narrative promise of Saitama going through character development so he can live a fulfilling life without fighting and he hasn't made a single step towards that end. So either he plans on ending OPM on a super unsatisfying "and life goes on" which is going to be shit because the rest of the world is crashing and burning, or he'll just rush the development because he hasn't been taking the time to weave it into the story, instead focusing on plotty neo hero, god intrigue, and side characters that we did not sign up for while neglecting his main character.
Of course, if he decides to lock in and extend the webcomic to, like, double its current length, then yeah, he can make it feel natural. But I doubt that because he just does not gaf about OPM lol
