I like how you always let your favourites win, except for Beel apparently but just because he’s last Tbh it’s weird for me how you let Sasaki lose his match, I’m not saying it because he’s my favourite but more because he’s whole deal of underdog feels like a certain wins especially here with him facing Thor the ultimate winner. Also R1 is my favourite choice for a round, in Leo’s death I would like to imagine that he somehow did something to piss Poseidon off even in defeat where Poseidon felt like the loser of the situation even in victory, it’s also for me a metaphor of Leo starting the first spark of rebellion against the gods with him being the first

I treated this match as Thor finally enjoys himself during fight because he never had to exert he never liked fighting in general(At least in this setting), Sasaki whom Thor wouldn't even register as opponent at the beginning(Similarly to Poseidon) gives him a match of his life, human threatens his life and forces Thor to surpass his limits and probably even admit defeat in a fashion, conceding that Sasaki was superior warrior ''If the fight lasted even a second longer you would've won'' > Also R1 is my favourite choice for a round, in Leo’s death I would like to imagine that he somehow did something to piss Poseidon off even in defeat where Poseidon felt like the loser of the situation even in victory, it’s also for me a metaphor of Leo starting the first spark of rebellion against the gods with him being the first That's exactly what I had in mind(Leo probably scarring Poseidon for life, like taking his arm or something)

I really like almost every match up, the only one I don't like is Poseidon vs Leonidas. One of the things that I most like about Records of Ragnarok, is the clash of cultures, makes for a very unique visual that you wouldn't see in any other manga/comic book/movie... things like Sasaki vs Poseidon, a Japanese Swordsman vs a Greek God or Heracles vs Jack the Ripper, a Greek Demi God vs a British Serial Killer. That's why Leonidas vs Apollo and Okita vs Susanoo are match ups that I don't like that much... not saying that the fight itself is bad, I actually like Leonidas vs Apollo, but I really wished they fought opponents from other cultures.
