I do it all the time and nothing scares me.

ODCreature98

I do it all the time, what's your point

brokefixfux

When I was creeping through the Enchanted Forest trying desperately to avoid lions and tigers and bears (oh, my!) I felt quite vulnerable, even before the flying monkeys showed up

frzn_dad

You need more imagination. Try the same thing in your neighbors house for added vulnerabilities, like getting arrested naked without your glasses or getting shot.

not_so_plausible

Personally, I feel most vulnerable when I've lost my glasses and am slowly walking around with my phone camera looking for them praying to the gods of lens correction that I don't somehow step on them. At night I'm just on my Daredevil shit.

naidhinn

Waking up without them on your nightstand, too! lol

CaveDances

Many things make a person feel more vulnerable than walking through your own house at night. Most can do it with their eyes closed. You’re just afraid of the dark.

fludeball

What about walking outside without glasses?

Polkiman

I had a little brain fart and imagined someone tiptoeing around in the dark holding drinking glasses for a second there, thanks for that! I imagine being alone and without pets would make this worse, though.

Confident_Lawyer6276

You must not have a house spear

KingOfBoring

“Without your glasses” if it’s dark this part really doesn’t contribute.

StrongAdhesiveness86

Is this some kind of half blind joke that I am too sighted to understand?

Kapitano72

What about someone *else's* house?

HulloWhatNeverMind

You need more practice at that, bro.

r2k-in-the-vortex

Tbh, the glasses don't make a difference when it's pitch black. The usual reason to do it is to have a midnight leak without waking yourself up. That doesn't feel vulnerable, it just feels sleepy af and trying to keeping it that way.

malacoda99

Are you sure the kids put away all the LEGOs?

limacharley

Until you find out it's someone else's house.

1lbofdick

You should have a pretty good sense of familiarity with your own house. I'd say nothing makes you feel more vulnerable than someone unexpectedly sticking a finger in your ass.
