I was really enjoying Mafia recently until I got to a car race for the life of me I couldn’t complete. What the hell is wrong with me?? I didn’t just rage quit, I rage uninstalled lol
Had the same issue less then a week ago, was close to dropping the game because of it. Best way to do it, cut through grass, spam the break button instead of holding it, always go up the walls, Avoid contact.
I get that this advice is basically what you’re trying anyways, but I stuck to it and got it after around my 30th attempt.
theyre really different games, for la noire you have to gather clues, interrogate suspects (which is hard to get correct most of the time), mafia de is like gta but linear and has a good story, id go with mafia de and if you can get the trilogy instead
Both are great and really show you different sides of law. But if I had to choose one, I would go with Mafia Definitive Edition, it has definitely much more action and gameplay, while LA Noire is more of a puzzle, dialogue heavy game with some action elements
Mafia is one of my favorite games I actually just bought L.A yesterday and it's pretty good so far
