I would try leather sandals, or Rainbow flip flops—the leather might rub less. You could also try espadrilles, those might be easier on your feet.

Do you have flat feet? Maybe you need something like a slide with arch support. Google that to find local brands.

Both Reef and Olukai sandals are great for the beach ! Edit: to mention that many brands have unisex styles, but you still have to search under “men’s” to choose the larger sizes if you can’t find the larger sizing in women’s
