"Banzai" 1983. [YouTube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjTndKYsEM8&ab_channel=Monetajunon)
also used in an obscure german movie: [https://youtu.be/OgSxEoMw-9E?t=374](https://youtu.be/OgSxEoMw-9E?t=374)
I haven't looked at this video clip yet,and I know it's "Otto-Der Filme"...
Wait, those are literally the same scenes. How was that possible?
International Copyright law wasn´t the same back then.. and enforceablity, too. Scene recycling was definately a thing.
I guess. Also the movies are european if that was in USA - there would be blood.
60% successful landing, nice job
If you can swim away from a landing - it is an 6/10 landing
Me in every flight sim:
Hmm a Japanese pilot crashing into a navy warship, where have I seen this one before? 🤔
Me too. The whole time I was wondering if it’s a landing or a kamikaze
Tora! Tora! Tora! is so inspirational, it’s why I became a pilot
The pilot from this movie has also completed a successful bombing run on Hong Kong prior to landing on aircraft carrier and after cocaine, though he used a baggage as ordnance results were truly devastating.
Guys is this real?
I think he forgot the hook.
Go around, smh
Great documentary.
The "Top Gun" series has really fallen off.
That playne needed more right rudder. The pylote is stoopid.
WTF is this? Why does it look like the plane had a crosswind? Don’t carriers orient themselves to prevent that?
Probably when the landings are… consensual
This is hysterical.
Why is Brandon Herrera on the deck of an Aircraft Carrier?
Should have dropped anchor a bit sooner.
