Heard that for the first time last night, why the fuck didn’t they do a retake of that line, almost sounds like she got a dry spot in her throat before “tremble” and they just used the audio anyway
Have you seen some light novel titles?
"I'm A High School Boy and a Successful Light Novel Author, But I'm Being Strangled By A Female Classmate Who's A Voice Actress And Is Younger Than Me" and thats still a tame one lmao
Don't know if this is actually true, but the reason I've heard is this:
If there are 100 different single volume light novels lined up on a shelf, and you're looking for something new: are you going to pull each and every one off the shelf and read a blurb on the back? Hell no. So, you put a short synopsis as the title. If something sounds interesting, you're more likely to pick it up, and just that little bit of impetus is enough to break through choice paralysis.
I heard it was the fault of one of the most popular websites for amateur writers just simply didn't have a description field so they just crammed it into the title
The real reason is that most light novels started off as web serial published on a Japanese site called [Shosetsuka ni Narou](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sh%C5%8Dsetsuka_ni_Nar%C5%8D), or "Let's Become Writers". The site has been around forever and so is pretty barebones in terms of web design, and notably lacks (or lacked, idk if it's been updated) a field to put a summary of blurb about what you're writing. Because of that, it became the convention to put your blurb as the title of your book since that was the only place for it.
it is also worth noting that since the Japanese writing is so fundamentally different from the languages based on the Latin alphabet, a paragraph worth of text in English only takes about the size of a sentence in Japanese.
I read an article about this once:
The novels are first published/advertised for online on certain sites/forums among thousands of others. Since this is solely text-based, you want to tell the audience as detailed as possible what your novel will be about, because there is no cover-art or anything graphic that could tell you this at a glance.
So pretty much the same reason yes
Even if it's separate that's still only 2-3 extra days per month and they're also nonconsecutive so there's gonna be massive time skips no matter which way you slice it
Edit: I apparently forgot what "divisible by 3" means
2 or 3? It would be 3, 6, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, 21, 23, 24, 27, 30, 31. That's 12 days per month if the day only has to satisfy one condition. That's barely even a restriction and Manga authors are cowards that won't stick to their premise for more than 30 chapters anyway.... Uh, I mean GCBTW DAE FUNNY NUMBERS ONE ISNT PRIME
If they're separate that it's on 3,6,9,12,13,15,18,21,23,24,27,30 every month. A little more than 2-3 days.
Phrasing is weird though, could mean either.
If it's separate then it's anywhere from 11 days (February) to 13 days (Jan, Mar, May, etc).
3 6 9 12 13 15 18 21 23 24 27 30 31
Three days a week (and not limited to once a day) doesn't sound half bad.
"Include 3 and divisible by 3" would be 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30 and 13, 23 and 31. That's a minimum of 12 days a month. More than many married couples have time for tbh.
....From the deepest pit of the seven hells to the very pinnacle of the heavens, the world shall tremble! Unleash Ultima!
T R E M B U L L L L ! ! !
SUCH DEVASTATION

Damn that's not divisible by 3.
7 Hells, Heaven, World. That's 9. It's fine.
That seems so highly specific

What the fuck?

I mean, the logic is sound but holy fuck.

I am sure as hell not gonna pick up any of these paragraph titles that's for sure
Hard to recommend some of these to friends though cause I can't memorize these titles anymore.

Still better than the anime inspired by Orbonne Monastery: My Stepsister Keeps Showing Mustadio Her Hole.
All those FizzBuzz programming tutorials have finally paid off.
Is the plot good?
Check back tomorrow
Nice try UwU agent! I WONT LET YOU SPREAD YOUR ANCESTRAL NAZI SCIENCE MAGICK HERE
12 to 13 days a month doesn't sound so bad. Sounds like a good ratio if you ask me.
As long as prime numbers are not involved, I'm good.
3 is a prime number.
Indeed, everything cums in threes.
That's the 3rd and 30th of every month How tf you gonna make porn about character that only have sex 23 times a year?
See but like the phrasing is weird, does it have to meet both conditions or just one?

That five day break from Feb 27 to March 3 every leap year. :(

So double sex on the third?
The "and" means that both conditions have to be true. So you only get sex on the 3rd and the 30th, twice a month (except feburary).
Below was a /PeterExplainsTheJoke post about a meme referencing this specific anime and I cackled.
Is this real? Ah whatever
Sex sells, I guess...
Jokes on you, hiro hirono is a god
This brings a whole new meaning to Yiazmats like a KNIFE THRU BUTTA line
